2054863 tn?1330476148 m a horrible stress smoker and I found that the best ways to keep cigarettes away is to keep stress away. I do my best to control my stress through exercise (yoga), good sleep habits, and meditation. You have to go with what feels right for you. Take a bath, light some candles, get a massage, whatever you need to feel less anxious.
8761100 tn?1399725825 Wow that's alot to deal with. Maybe take a warm bath, yoga poses, deep breathing exercises? Maybe reach out to a friend or family member in your time of need, that's what they are there for. Also you could talk to a doctor about your stress and anxiety. Just getting it all out helps so much. And I'm sure they have ideas for stress relief. Good luck.
1794671 tn?1338795391 The buttock to the leg cramping sounds like your hamstring is tightening. Mine have been doing that since the second or third month, mainly my left hamstring for some reason. It sounds like your symptoms are much more severe than mine but on your good days I would try some low impact lower body stretching. Prenatal yoga really helped me, yours hamstrings shorten in pregnancy so that's why they hurt so much.

Avatar m tn Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique.
Avatar f tn In a number of tests, Relora has been shown to reduce excess cortisol levels associated with stress while improving mood and reducing stress. It acts via the brain’s GABA and serotonin systems, which are both important in controlling anxiety. NO caffeine!! It is important to understand that your diet should supply you with all the antioxidants and building material for antioxidant enzymes. If you're not getting those, then add some supplements.
Avatar n tn Try a warm bubble bath and a few yoga sessions if there's anything near by. This can help you deal with the stress when the anxious thoughts start creeping in. I'm not 100% on the science of why stress is bad for your baby but I've heard it said a lot. So probably best to find a few ways of coping when you start feeling a stress episode coming on.

To suggest a few things as what to do with stress is... take up a sport. Try Kick-Boxing, Tae-Bo, Pump... if that is not for you and you are seeking some more modest form of sports...
