I felt a pea size lump that didn't feel right in my stomach area but ignored it. Then the fever thing in 06 and the cramping, achy restless thing got worse. Have your Dr try you on Requip or Mirapex for RLS. Requip is cheaper although still brand name. The severe pain in my back/hip area was so bad I was crying. Hang in there, you will get to the bottom of it.
Hi, Three months ago I had abdominal bloating and pain, cramping, slight fever and mild nausea. This lasted about a week with a normal return to health. Last week I had about the same symptoms only this time I had diarrhea after the first 2 days, which were basically mild nausea and mild fever and bloating. Now after 5 days I feel ok but I’m weak and have bloating after I eat. I also do not have the energy I had before. I feel this is strange to have the same thing happen three months apart.
Also, I wanted to add that the bloating i have occurs in my belly button area and not below breastbone/stomach area. How long can bloating last? Could i have gotten some kind of virus?
What caused a stomach pain with a fever that lasted a day, several weeks ago? The pain remained for about a week, gradually getting better over a week but fever only lasted a day and was quite low grade (37.5 degrees) . The whole thing started with a sore throat. I didn't have any diarrhoea or feel sick although I felt a bit gassier than usual. What could this have been? A stomach virus?
Last April for 6 month I had a problem with bloating and had pain in upper part of stomach close to my ribs. I gained 25 pounds in one month. I was miserable. Gi doc had no clue what was wrong with me . I had GI workup that showed nothing, then he sent me to another MD who right of the bat said that people who have their gallbaldder out can have a malfunction where the bile/pancreatic ducts merge to release fluid called Spincher of Oddi.

It bothered me the entire time I took it. I gradually had bloating, distention of the stomach and tingling, numbness and a 'cold' sensation started later on. This hasn't gone away and has only improved about 30% since taking probiotics and eating a lot of fermented foods and coconut yogurt with live cultures. The Kevita probiotic drinks help the most. I have a 'lazy colon' and it's usually challenging to get the urge to have a bowel movement but now it's even worse!
I also used to sleep on my stomach, but the pressure and pain was preety bad, so now I have to sleep on my side, that way I dont feel anything. Now about 1-2 months I started having pain, pinching a lot, and sometimes I get such a sharp pain i have to stop walking, and stop and relax.

I have been having nausea and stomach pain for around a week. It can start in the morning or develop throughout the day. I am 20 years old if that matters. The pain is right under my ribs on the left and it tends to feel better if I push on it. It also happens on the right but not as much. When it is on the right it is lower and more on my back. The nausea comes and goes and gets worse after I eat. I am not eating as much and in the past week I have lost a few pounds.

Tuesday I suffered from weakness and really worked on gulping fluids and eating a bit more. Wednesday and today (Thursday), I've had awful bloating and mild stomach cramping. The bloating and gas are even work when laying down. Not only am I just uncomfortable, but I'm also self-conscious about my distended belly (not cute!). This seems to be a commom post-flu symptom, but I've not found a lot of explanations or solutions. Help!
2 years ago she had a bad case of Mono and it seemed to set off all kinds of other problems. She experiences daily bloating/abd pain/ bld and mucus in stools. Pain before defecating and then feels better after. She has what she calls "fever things" where she feels very hot but her skin is always cool. She gets a crusty eczema I am guessing throughout every winter now, its strting to clear up now like usual.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem where they couldn't find out what was going on but then they did or something you did helped? He has lost so much weight because he hardly eats due to the pain and bloating. He can eat a bit or a sip of water and it starts. I feel so helpless as a wife. He has not left our home in the past year except to go to the doctors or ER. I am going out of my mind being in the house 24/7 for the past year.
So, I went on my merry way and waited for another bout of bleeding--which I've not had. The stomach bloating continued. Also noteworthy is that I've had positive ANA tests. This could be related to MS, but I also have hair loss which is not related to MS. They are low in titer at 1:160 and 1: 320. About six months ago I started developing a pain in my side and back area. I believe it was the right side. Blood work revealed no problems with my liver or internal organs.
The other symptoms for Appendicitis are fever, nausea, vomiting and malaise. The other causes for pain could be urinary tract infection, pelvic infections, renal colic and sometimes bowel infections. So, please consult your primary care physician and if you cannot reach him soon enough go to the concerned hospitals emergency. Regards.
If the right side of my stomach hurts, it is only occassional and very brief. My pain is always at the left lower quadrant of my stomach, but the pain feels like bloating or gas or dairrhea pain. Can this still be my gall bladder or should I look for another possible cause before I agree to surgery??
They also checked my stool and didnt return any problems. Since this I have gotten alot worse. I live with constant gas, bloating, and pain in my stomach. This past weekend I had a pretty bad spell. I woke up in the middle of the night and needed to throw up. As I was throwing up, diarrhea started. I have had the diarrhea for the past 3 days. I have had this burning in my stomach and constant burping. I was running a low grade fever and having aches and sharp pains in my back and neck.
All of my symptoms point to the stomach flu only i have had the lower back pain for months. I have been extremely sick the last 36 hours. The back pain I have had for so long became severe yesterday morning. Fever hitting 102, severe diarrhea, sever pain both sides of my lower back. I feel like I have a fist under my ribcage on the left side. I had my gallbladder taken out on Dec 23.
I don't know if it was the antibiotics, which did upset my stomach, but the past few days my belly is so bloated & distended I look as if I'm 5 months pregnant, the lower left pain is constantly aching followed by short stabbing pains, my stomach always feels full so it's very hard to eat much. My doctor said I may have Crohns or UC, will either of these diseases show up on the colonoscopy? And is there anything I can do before then to reduce the bloating/fullness?
I’m 34 years old and have been getting terrible stomach pain for the past three weeks. It only happens when I eat but not with every meal. I feel it in the right side of my stomach and it can get really severe but then it goes away after a few hours as if nothing happened! I tried taking a few different types of antacids (Tums and Pepcid) and they didn’t help at all. Occasionally I get constipated but that is nothing new.
swelling, weight gain, urinating less than usual or not at all; or nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). Less serious side effects may include: headache, depressed mood; mild muscle pain; joint pain; sleep problems (insomnia), nightmares; constipation; mild nausea; or stomach pain or indigestion. I'd say that could be a major issue for you.
5 and because I am feeling like a wimp and couldn't take it, I have had to take ibuprofen 2x today and it barely helped w/ the pain or the fever. It is still around 100. I don't feel like I am coming down w/ something else. I feel like I have been feeling on the ABx. I tried to talk to my LLMD to see if I could get a Lyrica Rx so I could quit taking these breaks and to ask if this just means my own immune system is getting aggressive w/ the Lyme/Barts or if I could have something contagious.
For a few years I have been having intense pain in my stomach/abdominal area after I play soccer and/or run untill I'm very tired. I started going to my doctor first when I was thirteen about this and she has not the slightest idea what is going on. I read the tag about stomach pains after tennis and my syptoms sound very similar. I am in good shape and exercise regulairly, and it only happens on random days spread by weeks of no problems, and it only happens when I push myself to my limits.
Hello, Pain in the upper part of the stomach or abdomen can be caused due to several causes. The location, intensity, frequency and timing of the pain is very important in determining the cause.Gastroesophageal reflux disease can cause burning sensation in the upper abdomen. Gall stones can lead to pain in upper right abdomen and pain between the shoulder blades or under the right shoulder. A fatty meal can trigger an attack. Peptic ulcer can lead to pain in abdomen, bloating and discomfort.
