Well, I'm in the middle of testing now but what I can tell you is that you are supposed to sleep less as you age. This is something you cannot ignore so please look into it even if it has nothing to do with the thyroid. One of the symptoms of hypothyroid that I know of is that your digestion slows down, this means you get more constipated and more time passes between bowel movements (which can lead to all sorts of problems by itself).
Had my gallbladder removed in 1999. My pancreas/stomach CT scan was negative. I have been on prilosec BID for 3 years, for GERD, and lipitor for cholesterol. However, I get bouts of severe stomach distress that presents as eggy, foul-tasting burping, then stomach cramping, bloating and nausea.

About a year ago, after my third cup of coffee one morning, I started to feel cramps in my stomach. A couple of weeks later, after some sleepless nights ( the cramps seemed to occur early in the morning as well as between meals ) I was diagnosed with gastritis and given 20 mg of Prilosec for 3 weeks. I've stopped the coffee and watch what I eat although I can't say that my life is any less stressfull right now.
in fact I had the worst cramps and spotting with my 3rd attempt. If I remember correctly, in speaking with my Dr. regarding the cramps I was told they were on account of the stimulation of the ovaries.
Last time was probably in sept 2012. I went back to my primary dr today who said my stomach issues will go away. He felt my stomach and liver and said nothing was swollen. He thought the knots were from antibiotic or stomach bug. My questions; 1. Did I place myself at risk for an std / HIV from massage gal? 2. Are my stomach knots / ache an ARS symptom? 3. Would my test have been pos if my symptoms were ARS. (test taken over a week after testicle pain and stomach knots) 4.
I went back on it and for a week I have had stomach discomfort, bloating and constipation. I don't know if the estrogen is the cause of this or if it's because I am under a lot of stress.
I have read a little about pregnant women getting cramps in their legs, and I had one last week. But I have been struggling w/ really BAD foot cramps..I woke up the other night and I was almost in tears because I could not get the cramp out...Is foot cramping common as well? I think I read leg cramps could come from a lack of calcium, could that be the case w/ foot cramps as well? I am taking a horse of a prenatal vitamin, lol! My second is about bruising.

The doctors have poured over tests with no clue what's wrong. When I talked with my mom and we started doing heavy internet research.

I have recently in the last few days started experiencing this fluttering in the center of my stomach right below my belly button. The first couple of times it happened I actually thought my cell phone was on vibrate and went to get it out of my pocket only to find it wasn't in my pocket. I dismissed it at first thinking I was going mad but the reoccurrence of the fluttering has increased to about every couple of hours now. Its not painful just a bit bothersome and noticeable.
I had hyperstimulated back in May 2006 resulting in 6 excellent embies. I feel good this morning. No cramps. By this time in the last FET, I would have been feeling definite AF cramps, dull, but definite. But this time they were never definite. . . it just felt like I was about to cramp but never it never did. This eases my mind. I feel positive. I'll find out Friday for certain. I'm just glad I don't feel AF coming on.
I didn't even call the re's office. Later I found out that it was probably implantation cramps - I got pregnant and had the baby in April - GOOD LUCK!
Neddypoo put it pretty well. I get the same symptoms when I am "A Fibbin". in addition to the stomach bloating and upper GI gas, my asthma kicks in. I often need to take my metered dose inhalor when I am "A Fibbn". However, I will say that I am not entirely sure these symptom, which are certainly related, are not present after the A Fib event. I am not sure whether the A/Fib is causing the gas/bloating and the asthma attack or the other way around.
But since she was about 8, she had symptoms which you described. Doubled over in a fetal position with terrible stomach pain. And her too, would cry, which she hardly ever does. I took her to the ER, but they couldn't find anything wrong. We just moved, and again it happened at 11:00 p.m. on a weekend (10/04). With no clinics open, I called 911. I understand your concern believe me. I hated to see her lying on the bathroom rug all curled up in pain. The fire dept arrived first, then the EMS.
I'm going to see a GI person in October, but is this just something I need to live with or can I make some changes in my diet so my system can kind of right itself? I also have sporadic aches in the back that aren't intense and it's not throbbing pain from the abdomen to the back, and I've gone in for that before and the doc was unconcerned. It's not in any specific area either on the back, and being I run 5 miles a day or am on the elipitcal machine isn't surprising I guess.

loss in blood pressure that I couldn’t even hold my head up, felt like I would pass out; severe stomach cramps and liquid diarrhea, in my case there was no hard stool. I have experienced this problem probably 5 or 6 times in my life and I am 46. Difference today is that I did not eat a thing all day, only 3 cups of coffee over a 2 hr period and this episode occured around noon. in the past I some times felt like vomiting, but today I did not.
It was the same sort of feeling i would get after a really long 2 hour jog or something, the same sense of exertion - but i hadn't done anything. I had a strange uncomfortable full fulling in my upper stomach. I was also having ectopic heart beats. I went to a doctor that day i felt so bad, and he sent me for an immediate heart echo cardiogram at the hospital. This came back normal. As i was leaving the camp a few days later to go home, my doctor recommended seeing my home gp.
I come from a long line of alcoholics and my dad was an alcoholic and pill popper. It's usually the men in the family that get this affliction. I'm the lucky one out of my sibs. I got the problem. But hey, I think the Unisom worked great and if I could've slept longer, I probably wouldn't feel this way. I'm sure it will wear off. But until I can get to where I can back my normal sleep pattern, I think I'll stick with the tylenol pm. Thanks for your support and advice.
A year ago from mid August, my wife began to experience cramps in her upper abdomen (diaphragm area). They were absolutely debilitating. She's a teacher and missed most of the first semester of school, that's how bad. First the cramps, then the nausea due to the pain, which led to the tandem diarrhea. Very embarrassing to be in so much pain that you had it coming out of both sides uncontrollably. The first bad episode put her in the ER.

Hey marty, I was originally going to suggest it could possibly be an ulser in your stomach as this would cause bleeding of the stomach and blood would come up to the mouth, but I'd also say that it could possibly be an infection of some kind that is making the lining of your throat and nose get dry or irritated and bleed but then they are trying to help this out by producing excess mucous, do you smoke?
* Because of the complex nerve distribution in the body, chest pain may actually originate from another part of the body. * The stomach or other organs in the belly (abdomen), for example, can cause chest pain. Worried? I would be. Chest pain? Meaning what? What kind of pain? Pain in the chest has many many causes. Some serious some not. Treatment or not I would want to know what is going on as any pain in the chest is not good. Pain usually means "hello! Something is wrong!
on me with. The nurse decided he could give it to me in my stomach so we would see what it was actually like. It hurt and it's really sore today. My pants and shirt keep hitting it. I'm going to try my thigh next week when we start b/c this is really uncomfortable and I can't imagine doing it multiple times a day. Any suggestions to help?
