bump

Hello, I have scalp sores, they look like tiny scabs. They are little red bumps with scabs, they often bleed and itch a lot. I have had them since i was 16. Im 21 now, i started to get them after i used RID for head lice. Sometimes when i run my finger through my hair they break open but dont always bleed. Some kind of clear ooze comes out. I also have dandruff so i use head & shoulders. Does head lice cause this? What could this possibly be and what can i use on my scalp to heal it?
There is a sandy-grainy like build up on my scalp This is also accompanied by an itch. Even after I wash my hair, the grainy like build up is still there. It is NOT flaky what so ever. My hair has also started to fall out and at the end of my hair, a white little grain is at the end. Hair will not stop falling out. I have gotten blood tests at a dermatology office and everything was normal. I also have tried about very type of zinc pyrithione shampoo, at the highest concentrations.
I recently discovered extremely sore red bumps on my vagina, they are now becoming pimple like. I don't consider them to be blisters but I'm not sure if some types of herpes look like pimples more than blisters. I'm really freaking out about this and am hoping that someone could tell me if it's something else. I am getting tested Friday but it would really put me at ease if someone could tell me what it could be. The only symptoms I have are extremely sore pimple like bumps.
I have suffered for almost 5 yers with pimples on scalp, The scalp gets very sore in a circular pattern , bumps come up or pimples with blood, pus and serum. My dermatoligist said it was a folliculitis and put me on minicin which helped 100% but then I became allergic to it. She tried Doxycyclene and it did nothing. Multiple antibiotics were tried. Some cleared it up for about 3-4 weeks and then it comes back. Some did not help at all. I have been on Bactrim DS 800-160 tab for a year.
I developed a sudden bump on my scalp. It's been there for 4-5 days now. It's red, sore and painful when touched. I went to the doctor and he said it was an infection and prescriped antibiotics to be eaten 4 times a day. It's been 4 days and it hasn't changed much. There's no pus or anything. i was a bit concerned. Should I go through MRI tests.etc?
I suddenly have developed tiny bumps on my upper lip. A few months ago this happened in just one little patch but it went away, and I can't remember if I did anything. But just a few days ago they appeared again on both sides of my upper lip. Then, the next day they had spread and now go all the way along the ridge of my upper lip. They aren't particularly noticeable except they change the shape of my lip, making it look smaller than it was in the places where they are on the very edge.
I had a shooting pain in the back left portion of my head. It was on and off for several years. I also noticed that I would get bumps on my scalp that would bleed if I picked them off. I thought these were unrelated issues, but I tried a new shampoo. I went and got a bottle of Denorex shampoo (with Salicylic Acid as the active ingredient). I used that everyday for about 3 months and then scaled back to 3-4 times a week.
I started in 6th grade, I am a 26 year old female. I have 5-9 scalp I pick at a time on my scalp. I have long black hair and cant wear certain styles because my problem will be seen and people would laugh or judge me. I started med school last year, and the people around me everyday are medically smart and are starting to pick up that my fingers are in my hair pulling out scabs.
I had experienced the rash-like bumps on my inner thighs, calves and arms. This was sometimes very mild, but got very bad and extremely painful in February. At first, no one could diagnose it: not my Naturopath nor two dermatologists. I did do a biopsy, which was sent for a second opinion, to finally get the diagnosis. What has helped me the most is being on a gluten free diet, per my ND. Gluten can cause a lot of inflammation in the body, including the skin.
I have this same exact problem. My doctor put me on acutane too because right around when i got the stickiness of the scalp i started getting bad acne too. My sticky hair went away while i was taking acutane but came back a couple months after I stopped taking acutane. It is an extremley frustrating problem. I found the thing that helps for a couple to few weeks is dying my hair and/or getting a scalp treatment at the hair salon. Let me know if you find a remedy that works on a daily basis!
None the less I had reached a point that I had to say Herpes isn't the cause of whats going on. I get all kinds of red bumps on my legs, my butt, and heck I even have had the under part of my legs hurt. My point here is that once I learned that you know I could be the one person that is rare few that doesn't test positive on HSV tests. Or I could accept the fact my testing is right and whats going on is normal. You have to get to that point. So where do you go from here?
In folliculitis there is inflammation of one or several hair follicles on the skin causing red, bumpy and pimple-like lumps.Tinea capitis causes round, red, scaly bumps on the scalp's surface. In psoriasis bumpy patches of skin with soreness may extend beyond the hair line and there are mild to severe thick, crusted plaques accompanying basic symptoms. Wash your hair regularly and avoid damp or sweaty skin. Avoid sharing personal care items such as combs and brushes.
Tiny red bumps and they endup with the white thing on it on top of the scalp back in around 1999, they got very itchy and they blood and white things will be discharge from the pinples. Three days ago I started feeling like whatever this was is now in my skin (I'm certain of it), It's under the skin on my face, my scalp, my back, my toes, and my feet. I can feel it crawling in and out of my anus at times also. Went to the dermatoligist today and of couse he says it's my imagination, some people get it. He's subscribed me some DEXEPIN for depression. :( Funny thing is I'm not depressed, my life was quite good until this bug showed up.
i have the same problem, it ***** i have the bumps everywhere on my hands and some on my feet. and the itching is constant. my boyfriend of a year has a similar condition only his have scabbed but he also gets the itchys. i hate them ive been to the doctor 2 times first they told me it was contast dermatitis and the steriods and cream didnt help. the second time the doctors didnt know they gave me cream and told me if it stays i should go to the dermatoligist.
I get the little bumps on my hands (palms mostly but sometimes up on my fingers depending on the severity of the "break out") and on my feet (much rarer). I went to the doctor for it as a child eveytime it happened and after years of lotions, creams and steroids it still is hasn't gone away, although I've started to note patterns of break outs and they've gotten less frequent and severe. I've found at least 3 seperate triggers that cause break outs for me. The first is stress.
itchy bumps on outer elbows, skin-colored small bumps on sides of fingers. I visited a dermatologist who recommended anti-histamines which had some positive effect. The bumps on the sides of the fingers seem to be triggered by summer heat. But they also increase in number whenever my elbows become more effected and itchy.
I have 2 rock hard lumps on both right and left clavicle (collarbones), they are literally both on top of the bone and they are movable. The left is about 8mm on left side and about 4mm on the right side. I Also notices a very hard 5mm movable round lymph node above my right clavicle. I have 2 small soft lymph nodes on the side of my neck, left and right. and a rock hard one on my jaw near my left cheek bone. 2 soft ones behind my left ear, one is about 3mm and the other is about 1cm.
Try using 3% hydrogen peroxide left on overnight 1-2 times per week. Even if you dont have blond hair. It seems to stop the bumps from manifesting on scalp. What you have is Morgellons disease. I've had it for years. Strange welts/hives are the other side effect of this disease. Which I simply put triple antibiotic on when they arise. Good Luck, This works! Not a cure for this highly contagious disease.
If so, that could be the cause of your itchy scalp. Do you have an sores, dandruff, scaly patches or lesions on your scalp? Hair loss can be a symptom of lupus and in my experience, it tends to fall out in patches. It is definitely something you should mention to your doctor!
I have several bumps on my face that I recently one opened up and found a very hard, sand-like grain inside that is yellowish-white in color. They are pretty well attached and do not squeeze out, had to practically cut them out with a hypodermic needle tip. They start out small and enlarge until there is a bump which is noticable. What causes these and how do I avoid getting more of them? Thanks for your help.
A few days ago I noticed a sore, reddish swollen lump on my left inner thigh, right along my bikini line. It has since gotten larger (about the size of a nickel, and more elongated now). It only feels sore if I press on it or rub against it. It seems like a soft lump that moves around with the skin. Last night I applied a warm washcloth to it for about 30 minutes, which made it feel better. Could this be a swollen lymph node, or maybe an ingrown hair?
I also notice very very very very small blister type bumps on my fingers that i have popped and released some sort of fluid.. the bumps on my penis/butt/thighs do not seem to have any fluid in them.. just very itchy and red.. I have had sexual intercourse about 3 to 4 months ago.. and have noticed these irritations about 2 months ago.. can masterbation cause it to get worse?.. i was told by a friend that it may be bed bugs?.. is that possible? (fleas? or no?..
And then I have the hard bumps on my and around my vagina. Some are a little sore and others are seriously sore. there's about 4 or maybe 5 of these bumbs. One of them is about the size of a bee - bee gun bullet. Sorry I have no other way of describing it. I though maybe I have a yeast infection from earlier articles.. And then I heard about the HSV 1 or herpes. Does anyone else have this ? I'm so scared.
The rash began with small bumps on the thighs, fevers, strange looking hairs on my scalp, legs, arms, chin, eyebrows and eye lashes. The bumps turned into ulcers which would not heal even though I was prescribed 10 different anti-bacterial antibiotics over the past year. Eventually, I reached the point of exhaustion and would need to sleep for 10 hours in order to be able to be awake for 2 hours. I started having panic attacks and felt I was in a constant brain fog.
Ringworm begins as a flat lesion on the skin. The outer rim may be slightly raised and composed of little bumps It can be mistaken for eczema or psoriasis. Ultimately it evolves into a ring shaped lesion. You should visit your pediatrician who will prescribe medication to be rubbed into the skin. Hope this helps.
All of these bumps are on my buttocks, forearms, shoulders, chest, belly, and in my scalp. (some on my face) Very few from the theigh down, and very few on arm areas not exposed to the sun.Can this be from spicy food, oily food, meats, or some type of infection?
About a week ago i noticed small red bumps on my stomach and as the days went by it started spreading all over my body. There are no bumps on my legs or face though. I only have a few on my lower arms and like 3 bumps on my neck. But my torso and lower back are covered with them. The weird thing is that they don't itch at all!! I been checking all different websites and question from people but all their bumps itch really bad, so it really doesn't help me out too much.
