hi everyone, for about 6 months ive had these pimple like bumps on my scalp every now and then. sometimes theyre just bumps, and others theyre like pimples: when "popped" either clear liquid comes out or even blood. i have no idea what they are, does anyone have a clue?

I do not know if these bumps are DH or if it is another problem just caused by malnutrition that Celiac disease causes. But is this your only symptom or do you have other signs of malnutrition? The first shampoo I would recommend trying is called Nizoral shampoo. It is pricy but it is helpful for clearing many scalp conditions and it also helps regrow hair. I do many, many things to restore my health. My scalp is much better, but I would say that shampoo was key.

I developed a sudden bump on my scalp. It's been there for 4-5 days now. It's red, sore and painful when touched. After I got the results and did a bit of internet searching I seen where HSV can be in the mouth. I noticed small red bumps on the roof of my mouth an a small bit of white pus on my tonsil. I went to the dentist who then sent me to my ENT. ENT advised of sinus infection, (sore throat) not HSV. Could I have transmitted HSV2 to her scalp? I have tried some of the shampoos with salicylic acid or coal tar - all it did was make my scalp worse- sort of firery sore and super itchy. that's why I think its dry scalp and not dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis - the symptoms just don't fit. my hair and scalp are dry, not greasy - even if i go 3 days between shampoos my hair is not greasy. the flakes are small and white and not oily.

I started getting hard bumps on my scalp several years ago. The feel like really hard scabs and are painful to the touch. They are about the circumfrence of the tip of my index finger. I have picked the scab off before and it leaves a shallow hole in my scalp, but doesn't really bleed. There is some sort of clear liquid that does not smell. A few days ago lumps at the back of my head, between my ears, developed. They are tender and hurt a little when I put pressure on them. My sore throat has not worsened: nor has it gotten better. I go to a professional barber who uses clean equipment. These red bumps are not itchy and dont have any pus. The bumps look like acne with no pus. I wash my hair daily.
