How reliable is oraquick at home oral HIV test? I have looked online and everything I have found is by manufacturer. I want to test myself and know my status and move on from there. The fear of not knowing sucks. Worrying won't change results. Can I use this test and know that the results it gives it is valid.

i have finally decided to quit im so scared though because on top of the withdrawls i know there will so much other emotional pain to deal with so should i go to a treatment center or just do it at home i dont know which woudl be easier

OUCH!!) As much as it may sting to have it there, keep the ACV cotton on all night while you're sleeping.

Hello, I just found out that similar to "At-Home" tests that diabetics use, they also sell "at home" allergy blood tests that will tell you whether you are allergic to something or not. I know that it is not as thorough as the skin pr!ck test, but it's "something". Have any of you successfully used any? Any brand names or information that you would be able to recommend? Thanks.

Is there any kind of way a thyroid patient can check their levels at home periodically? You know like diabetics do? I am certain we can't draw our blood - but is there a panel we can use?

Ok, so this is my second post, and hopefully I'll get an answer. I tried a home remedy of using apple cider vinegar to remove the small wart on my nose. Unfortunately, I covered too big of an area (good skin near the wart) and the area got greenish yellow in color. It then peeled off, leaving a small hole behind. Here is a picture. Skin appears to have grown back, but I still have the hole. Can this be fixed??

Thank you, Mrs Rios. Yes, dead skin soughing off will happen. This makes way for new skin to grow under it. Allow this to happen on it's own, without trying to 'help' it along by peeling it yourself. Your body will heal itself, maybe not as soon as you would like, but you must allow this to happen naturally, or you run the risk of infection by peeling skin off that is not ready to come off on its own. I recommend eating M&M's. :-) They always make ME feel better!

NS said he didn't find anything unexpected, and I don't think he was looking for anything in particular. He was also surprised at how quickly I noticed improvement in my breathing. I tire easily and my head/neck hurt constantly, but it's great to be at home! At least at home I can manage my own pain meds -- I didn't have a pump, so had to beg for meds all the time when pain got bad...then had to WAIT for pharmacy to send up my flexeril. So lame!

Regarding my vacation at home detox, I made it 3 1/2 days. Couldn't sleep, eat and lost almost 10 lbs and just couldn't cold turkey it. I am going to discuss this with my doctor. Very anxious and in allot of pain and have no real support system. I recovered and still in recovery from alcohol in 2007 after a very intensive inpatient program. I just can't loose my job or life over this wicked addiction. Sorry. I am trying.

I went to the dermatologist last week as I have a marble sized cyst just near my elbow. She recommended I see a general surgeon to have it excised.
