I'll lift accordingly for 45 mins-1 hour and then cool down with 10-30 mins of sprints. I also have 1 or 2 endurance days where I run distance for an hour or so. You need to mix up your workouts weekly, otherwise your body gets used to them. Also, diet is more important than exercise. You can't outrun poor nutrition. CARB UP!

Avatar f tn So I've done tons of research about stomach fat and the best way to burn it is by a balanced diet and by drinking a lot of water and engaging in both cardio and strength training, but is there anything else? i workout usually everyday, at the least 5 times a week, very rarely 4. I eat quite heathy, taking in a lot of fruits and vegetables and trying to watch my serving sizes and portions.
Avatar m tn No matter how many ab exercises you do, it won't show until the layer of fat is gone. Crunches and flutter kicks may give you six pack and but they won't show. Cardio helps burn fat and will remove that layer right off your belly. Anything that can get you heart pumping is cardio so make it fun! Dance fast to an upbeat song. Do jumping jacks. Run in place or just run. Look up at home cardio workouts for some fun ideas. Zumba is a great cardio workout.

Avatar n tn ok.. it is not normal for a young healthy women to just stop having her period. do you exercise a lot or are you stressing out a lot? that can effect your period. but to completely miss it for 6 months is not normal, you may want to look to a fertility specialist.

Avatar f tn Yeah, you should be okay. Had you taken 5 days of hormone pills in your contraceptive pack after the antibiotics. Normally you're supposed to take them for 7 days to be safe. But there's every chance that even with the antibiotics you would be okay. Did you get any diarrhoea or vomiting that would mean you weren't absorbing the pill properly?

Avatar n tn m pretty close and have a six pack again. By concentrating on those goals, I was able to forget about the meds...almost 11 months now... Keep exercising and if you start to feel down, exercise some more. There were times I exercised 3x in one day...cardio, weights, cardio, etc... You can get over this hump... Stay Cool...

Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.
