For years had symptoms and pinpoint low back pain and left bottom-end rib pain. Also in this quadrant=pain. Nothing on Right. Liver? I just found new tests (beyond the basics) I would like to take-for carcinoid syndrome! Ultrasound says OK? All unsure what causes pain, even Hepotologists! so I should clear HCV first and then see? Anybody similar pain? Only have hypertension besides. Aorta pressure?
The rest of the pain has been sore, aching muscles on the left side. I have never had muscle spasms occur on the right of the spine in my back in the past; they have always stayed to the left and on the center of the lower spine. No further spasms have been felt on the left side of the spine since the block.
If someone grabs my side or hits me in my left side i almost imediatly go into shock and start to shake from the pain. Another doctor said it could be in my nerves but where the pain is they couldn't test the nerves down there they tested they up near my spin which was normal. I don't know where to go from here.
I am 35 and I am having my first child and everything that my body is doing is freaking me out!! I have a dull pain in my left side like in the lower back, even occasionally through my left front side like near my ovary. Id back pain on and off again normal and the dull pain? I have recently stopped taking all pain medication and I feel everything. The lower left quadrant pain, upped left quadrant pain, and the upper right quadrant pain from the removal of my gallbladder. I experienced hot flashes and cold chills last night. This morning I had cold chills so bad that I had three blankets on, a hat, hoodie, and winter jacket on inside my house with the thermostat at 73 degrees. It took me over 4 hours to warm up.
I no longer feel spasms on the right side, though the sharp, aching pain from the left side radiates over the spine to the right side when the pain is severe.
Currently, as has been the typical presentation felt for the past few years prior to the stellate ganglion injection, the majority of the pain is comprised of an underlying, constant, aching, sharp pain over the entire lower-left quadrant of my back, and muscle spasms cause a stabbing pain in random intervals over the same affected area.
For the past 2 weeks I have a constant pain on my left ovary; the pain is sometimes is so strong that it takes my breath away. I haven't been to the doctor's yet I am trying to see if will just go away. I had back surgery in 2002 the 3rd surgery in 2 years where I now have rods in my lower back and at the time of my surgery about 1 month later I had a blood clot on my ovary; I am now experienceing the same kind of pain. But even before that i have had this pain in my lower left side of my stomach. I have had tests done and they have found nothing. The pain comes and goes. Usually after i eat something and walk around it gets very painful. I no there is obviously something going on. i just don't understand why they can't find anything. Could you possibly give me some answers?
Please go through this and see if something was missed . Pain and discomfort on the lower left side of abdomen just below and to the left of navel can be due to several causes such as Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, infection in kidney, kidney stones, constipation (this you do not have), and an abscess in rectus abdominis muscle or psoas muscle. Since you do not have a lump or a tender hot spot, in all probability it is not a muscle.

I have been suffering from pain in my left side. ive been to the doctors a good many times. most of them all say its to do with muscle. but my pain is usually the top half or middle back pain. I suggest to try to some back exercises you can find them even on YouTube to strengthen that part of your back. it is all to do with posture maybe even try sleeping on your right side I have been trying to do that.
I have had so many problems in the last couple months that I really don't know where to start. My latest is a pain in my front upper left side right below my rib cage. It's not constant and it's not a bad pain but just enough to bother me and worry me. I am also having bad lower back pain that comes and goes. I have had changes in bowel movements going back and forth from constipation to loose stools.
I've been having a lower sharp pain in my lower left side with lower back cramps for about 25 mins straight I still feel my son moving but it hurts so much. Should I get medical attention?
Hurt my lower back (mostly on left side) while working out. This was 8 days ago. The pain seems to be centered on the left side. It is a numbing, throbbing pain that started in the lumbar area of my back. It almost feels like the pain is now also on the front left abdomen/groin side.
Could this be sciatica? Or should I be worried about something more serious in terms of my internal organs?
I'm almost 28 male Caucasian. Relatively fit/healthy.
On Friday I had a CT scan and kidney function test done to check for Kidney stones or issues with the organs surrounding the kidney. The tests came back negative indicating that I don't have kidney stones and that my kidneys are functioning normally. The doctor has recommended physical therapy to address the possibility of pain related to muscular injury.
