sharp stomach pains on left side

This evening i had really sharp pains only on my left side a few times, didn't feel like cramps was definitely sharp pain that didn't last very long but happened a few times.

Is it normal to feel sharp pains off and on? One side of ur stomach ? Cramping off n on all afternoon?

I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and this morning I've been having sharp pains in my left side...almost like a side ache but it comes and goes with strong jabs. Should I be worried? Has anyone else experienced this? This is my second pregnancy, but I didn't experience this before. ???

ve noticed a couple times when I wake up early in the morning and shift sides I have a horrible sharp pain on my left side. It hurts really bad anyone else have this pain??

U should certainly speak wit ur doc bt it sound's like round ligament pain. It's ur uterus stretching as baby grows. It sent me to the er once bc from 7pm on I was in such terrible pain & my husband was afraid for me & baby as well. After tossing & turning all night I couldn't take the pain anymore & went bout 5am. I thought I had a uti or sum it turned out to be nothing. The pan was nothing like I'd feel in my 2 previous pregnancies.

So last night I had really sharp pains in my ribs and on the left side of my stomach, no bleeding or anything but I was just wondering if you guys think I should be concerned or if it was just my uterus.

Yesterday I began having a sharp going from my stomach all around my right side to my back. I waited a couple hours thinking it might of just been gas or something but It never went away. I went to the doctor. They did a stress test and everything was fine with the baby bit he wanted to semd me to the hospital just to get an ultrasound of the baby and my kidneys and gallbaladder. They said everything was fine but im still having this pain in my side a day later.

So on Wednesday last week I felt a sharp stomach pain on my left side (right for you). It went away and I didn't notice it anymore till the next day on Thursday when I was about to go to bed I was tossing and turning. The sharp pain in my stomach came back again but this time on my right side (left for you) and it lasted longer. My stomach felt weird and there was discomfort for the rest of the night. On Friday I noticed the pain would come and go through out the day and I became worried.

I'm 13 weeks & had my first scan yesterday, the day before I had horrible sharp pains on my left side, I asked one of the midwifes about it & she said it will be due to your ligaments growing, there's nothing to worry about apparently however if any bleeding starts go to the hospital straight away, I hope this helps.

I just looked up online to see if I could find out what's wrong with me, because I've had the same sharp pains in the same area. I've had them before, but they normally went away. They also range from my right or my left side. But this time, it's on my left side and it's staying longer then it normally does. I can't stretch or it kills. I have no idea what it is. My hubby has been experiencing a sharp pain to the touch and also when he walks and moves around just above the belly button but more to the right of his abdomen = it has been continually paining for 3 days - he never complains of pain - he has already had his appendix our 20 years ago - he is 49 years old and healthy not over weight either - says it feels like someone punched him really hard.
