Actually a diabetic diet is really only what a healthy diet would be for people without diabetes. And fruits are a part of that even though they have sugar it get metabolized like any other carbohydrates.
If you do not understand what changes you need to make, you should speak to your doctor about what is recommended for you specifically. Your doctor may have a sample diet menu or be able to recommend a nutritionist to help you understand the proper diet. There are also may diabetic cook books on the market that can help you to understand how to make common foods that are not going to spike your blood glucose. Additionally you should ask your doctor about an exercise program.

Hello my pregnant friends! Today is payday for us so I have to get groceries. Our cupboards and fridge are getting bare. I thought it'd be fun to ask a weekly question- WHAT IS ON THE MENU?! Since food is a very important part of a pregnant woman's life.

got my birth plan done recently,and I really though there was more to it then the midwife just explaining to you when you shoulx call docs etc,she just asked me whether I understood about mucuous plug,water breaking,etc,ticked it of on her forms and that was it.she told me to fill in what my preferences were on a sheet of paper,but I thought u talk that through with the midwife and she helps you through explaining along..I dont know if this is how it works or whether she were being lazy.
