Hello and sorry for the late reply. Ventide is Salbutamol 100mcg, beclomethasone dipropionate 50mcg; metered-dose aerosol. Alternatives would be aerocort, aerotide, asmavent B and beclotamol to name a few. Please discuss these options with your doctor, he can guide you. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Hello and hope you are doing well. Qvar, is a steroid inhaler and should be taken twice a day. It is given to prevent episodes of bronchospasm. If you are continuing to have breathlessness, then you may need additional inhalers like ventolin, which contains salbutamol, which is short acting and helps relieve bronchospasm. It would be best to consult your doctor regarding persisting symptoms, he may prescribe additional inhalers or he may change the dose of the steroid inhaler.
