Have u girls heard songs that you can dedicate to your baby?...I was hearing some n thought I'd share some with you girls...whenever I'm having a bad day listening to these songs help me..makes me think of my future with my son who is due march 8th..here are a few ill post more as I hear them...

I am always torn though, being a Christian and all, the lyrics to this are not in line with my beliefs, but I have always been more of a "music" lover as opposed to a "lyrics" lover. I absolutely LOVE Ben Harper - much of his music is very good and the message in them all are very good ones.

There is NO way I can narrow this down to one choice!!! LOL I have a very wide range of music that I love listening to-from heavy rock like Panterra, disco-Blondie, and classical Mozart. I'm not a huge fan of country music-I will admit to liking a few songs, like Carrie Underwood's-Before He Cheats (title????).

Wow awesome songs with a very powerful message. I love music and this is definately talking to me. It seems my whole life was surrounded by the almighty pain pills started with hubby's chronic pain I had no idea what he was going through OH dear God I do now.

Tonight I was again looking at photos on line of my dearly departed pup, and I had music playing that was saved to my computer. One of the simplest but saddest songs I know started playing, I Will Love You by Fisher. Well. I started sobbing and couldn't stop. It was painful at the time but I guess it's good for me to get it out? I want to stay in denial...

Yes I like Sylvia Plath as well. I remember reading the "Bell Jar" a while back. The particular songs I associated with depression in the past were Nirvana "Lithium" when I felt a bit knocked out by what I was taking. Jimi Hendrix "Manic Depression" when I could not get things under control. Now I would add Kristen Hersh "Your Ghost" and P.J. Harvey "White Chalk" when I feel cut off from society.

So I'm not the biggest fan of generic, old school lullabies. I have a few songs picked out that I'm gonna be singing to her, but I'd love to hear some more suggestions and what you ladies plan to sing to yours or already are.
