4 days ago pcp changed my beta blocker from propranolol 40mg twice daily to metprolol er 25mg daily d/t low pulse in 40s- 50s. Been on propranolol for 22yrs for PVCS. She had me just stop propranolol and start metoprolol, been experiencing shakiness, occassional pvcs, headache, nausea, pulse still 45 - low 60s at rest and with exertion 70-90. Should she have tapered propranolol or will the metoprolol block the more serious withdrawal symptoms ie: HTN, chest pain ect.

I have been hospitalized in the ER three times in the past two weeks for bradycardia. All this suddenly started happening in the last two weeks. I start to feel weak, have a seizure, this last time, I fell down on the kitchen floor and hit my head pretty good. I am a 28 yr old female who has been on propranol for almost 4 years. I have a at home blood pressure monitor, that also checks my pulse and I do it religiously. My pulse has always been 65 to 80.

Have a bad headache and no pain meds at home. Have a little of the Buprenorphine hcl left from when my cat was neutered. It was given to him orally at a dose of 0.3cc. I looked it up and it looks like a "human" drug also, but am wondering if I am able to take this.
I do hae a little chronic bronchitis, but not full blown copd i don't think. What do you think? Could I take this. Should I add to water or put under my tongue,.
til Monday unless I end up in ER again cuz Im still not feeling well. Still feeling weak, etc. When I went to ER a few days ago he mentioned it could still be my thyroid but I guess they didnt check it becuz he just said everything came back ok so Im assuming they just did regular blood work. If he thought it was thyroid related I would have thought they would have checked it! I may end up going in to a different ER and get a second opinion and see what they will do.
Apple cider vinegar is a way to cleanse the body and balance acid and alkaline, but it doesn't increase stomach acid on a permanent basis. was doing some reading and it seems the dol hcl is like the hydrocodone and the regular dol is like ultram--- however the ultram er is totally different than the regular ultram??? anyone know the diff on these nightmares??
Not sure how to edit my question above but I also take Metroprolol 25 mg ER (split in half twice a day) and Propranolol 50 mg at night. The Propranolol was added about 8 weeks ago when I was complaining of the high heart rate at night plus higher blood pressure.
Its an antibiotic called clindamycin HCl for bacterial vaginosis. Its like every month since July I have to take a dose of clindamycin HCl twice a day for seven days... July I took flagyl for two days was allergic to it so they gave me clindesse vaginal cream for my baby! Then august found out I still have it and they have me take this clindanycin HCl tablet. Then august 27th, ugh I still have it!! They're making me take the same ****. Sorry im just a lil bit disappointed nor upset.
At first they thought it was streph and gave me an antibiotic. Due to high fever, i went to er , they did a test for herpes and called me and said I have it. They prescribed. valacyclovir hcl. I just started taking it today. I read that this can be common with people who have aids. I have not had unprotected sex deliberately but condom broke. I had a steady girlfriend but broke up one. I am scared to death that I have aids.
d with Acute Bronchitis, a bacterial infection, Bradycardia, and possibly Gout (from two separate ER visits). I've been seen by a Rheumatologist, Neurologist, Ophthalmologist, a Sleep Study Specialist, an Acupuncturist, and a GP. I do not smoke, drink, or do recreational drugs. I have not idea what to do next. I've done a ton of online research and I'm trying to function as my own advocate. [I'm also currently appealing the decision to stop my insurance coverage.

I was completely off thyroid medication when I developed a heart flutter. Had to go back on a small dose (12.5mcg synthroid) to make it less, but now showing signs of hyperthyroid symptoms again.
March 22, 2014 I went to a different ER and the doctor looked at me and said that I have severe sciatica nerve damage in my legs and gave me Tizanidine HCL 4mg, Diclofenac SOD DR 75mg, Tramadol HCL 50mg and sent me home. I have taken the meds and it has helped only my legs so I can walk better but they still hurt badly, but it has not helped my spine or nothing else.
Im sorry you had to go to the ER. I hate that place. Ive been there a lot over the past 2 years. I dont know what to say about your med other than I its a love hate relationship for me with my Propranolol. I only take it when I need it now because of all the side effects. My heart rate will jump to 150 sometimes when before my cycle starts. No one knows why. Its very scary because sometimes its starts in my sleep and I wake with this high heart rate.
I do have high blood pressure and asthma, (i take Lisinopril and Albuterol for those). My BP has still been running high, although I was just switched to Lisinopril from Propranolol 4 days ago. Should I go to the ER?
Has anyone tried PROPRANOLOL for prevention of Migraines? I have struggled with headaches almost every day & Migraines aprox every 7-10 days for the last 10 years. Feverfew has helped but they now seem to be getting worst so I was thinking of asking my GP if I could try Propranolol.
