I can drink sprite, ginger ale, mountain dew, gatorade, fruit juice ( although not too much apple and no orange juice) and no dark beverages. I also recently tried sparkling water and that seems to be ok. I am going on a gluten-free/soy free diet just to see if I have a food sensitivity. Any suggestions on what my next step should be would be greatly appreciated. Also I don't know if I should see a GI or an ENT.
the type A migraines with all the neurological side effects. Now I am starting to experience numbness and tingling i my hands and feet and arms and legs. It happens every day at least 5-10 times aa day and may have nothing todo with my migraines, but it is very uncomfortable and frustrating. Just now, it happened in my right hand and when I tried to stretch my thumb out it wouldnt stretch... kind of hard to explain. It felt almost heavy like it was to heavy to lift.
I had daily headaches/migraines for months and the last thing we tried was topomax. It caused me to have incredible reactions that resembled a stroke at one point so I quit taking it after I talked with my doctor. I was also taking Prilosec for some nausea. For some reason I had forgotten to take the prilosec for a couple days and hadn't had a headache. Got in the car to start a 6 hr trip and thought I should take it since I would be eating out a lot over the next few days.
I had an endoscopy and a biopsy and was tested for stomach cancer and h pylori both for negative. I have a breath test scheduled but it's not for over a month. They found gastritis in my endoscopy. This could be what's causing my stomach issues. My stomach is also very very swollen and I'm a skinny person so it's very noticeable. I am so helpless. I have tried acid meds like nexium, Prilosec, dexilant and none helped.

Ive been on prilosec for five years from gerd because of small hiatal hernia .. Ive drank while on it heavily here and there and never has really gave me any trouble..recently on my 32nd bday I over did drinking and within the next week felt weird heart discomfort..not pain nor pressure..but later in the week had trouble breathing,,strong heartbeat for days..anxiety, dizzyness..and trouble sleeping...Ive been working out the past week and Im feeling better.
I've had occassional PVC's for 20 plus years. I also have Mitral Valve Prolaps. About 2 months ago I started taking Prilosec for reflux. I then began to have a huge increase in the number of PVC's. Sometimes lasting all day. I've been on an event monitor for the past 2 weeks. I didn't even think that to relate this increase in PVC's to the Prilosec until about a week ago.
ve had 3 docs prescribe prevacid and prilosec and one who said its bad to have any. I miscarried when I wasnt on anything and the babies I've had are all fine despite the prilosec. Some docs are more cautious. My doc now is a high risk ob/gyn with experience in fetal development issues and he says its fine. Talk to your doc or a different one...its not good to be so miserable you can't eat...for you or baby.
I have been having some GI issues for almost 2 months now and was first diagnosed with Gastritis. For the Gastritis I was given 15 days worth of Prilosec. While on the Prilosec (and before) I had diarrhea and loose stools every day. Being as I was having that before, I never attributed it to the Prilosec but now I'm questioning whether or not the Prilosec contributed to the loose bowel movements as I am now back on Prilosec and am having loose stools once again.
I have had nausea for about a month now, which started out profound and now is off and on.. I am a 47 year old female with negative testing for pregnancy, brain cat scan, sinus cat scan, bloodwork, including pancreatic and liver, and an eye check up. The nausea symptom is increased by leaning forward or to be more specific, putting pressure on my abdomen. I saw a GI assistant two days ago who added an acid medication to my prilosec regime of several years.
I am at wits end with my health so any advice you can give me is appreciated... I have been acutely ill for almost a year and it's a big mystery that I can't solve, please help me...
Three years ago I started noticing a significant drop in my energy. I was getting sick all the time and I started getting migraines and panic attacks.
Then about a year ago I got really sick with massive acid reflux. I got an endoscopy.
My doctor diagnosed me almost a year ago with "the worst case of acid reflux [she'd] ever seen." Literally, I would drink a glass of water and get reflux issues. I was put on Nexium for a long time, and I have since switched to Prilosec OTC because I ran out of health insurance. It's been about five days on Prilosec but I keep feeling nauseous in the morning after I take it, but it's nothing too bad and it goes away fairly quickly.
No spicy foods, not eating anyting real solid 3 to 4 hours before sleeping except maybe a popcile. Trying to lose weight and exercise and trying to lay off the caffeine and carbonated bevereges(which is extremly hard for me but Im doing it.) I havent been able to nail an actual flare up food, it seems I'm nausous off and on all the time.
t seem to help her and our GI switched her to prilosec. My daughter has had no complaints with the prilosec. Both prevacid and prilosec have the same actions so they do the same things. The only interaction that I know of with prevacid and penicillin is with a type of penicillin called Ampicillin and it may inhibit the absorption of the prevacid.

if you are past 12 weeks you can take sparingly of the following,
For nasal congestion: Sudafed, Chlortimentron, Tavist, Benadryl. Also try saline nasal spray or clariton otc.
For headache & or fever: Tylenol, Tylenol extra strength- NO ASPRIN OR IBUPROFEN
Go in for a fever over 101.
pylori and now developed GERD and Acid Reflux because of the long term use of prilosec.. I cannot stop taking the prilosec because the acid and chest pain come back times a million, and i cant eat really anything anymore.. I did not have any problems with acid or chest pains or not being able to eat until i started taking the prilosec.. I really think that if i wasnt having any symptoms then why give someone some for symptoms there not having, just to make them worse in the end..
i am 32 years old just had my birthday and was out drinking a couple days before that my chest had a weird sensation,,then after a couple hard night of partying I haave anxiety, constant heart palpitations, Ive been listening to it and feeling my heart but it doesnt sound like its skipping beats but im really aware of it, dizzy and kinda short of breath..I also have gerd and have been on prilosec for 4 years.. should i be concerned or is this an anxiety disorder or side effect of prilosec??
