hemp oil are also very high in omega 3
oils. But omega 3
oils don't do the same thing as statins. Statins lower LDL cholesterol, the bad kind, whereas omega 3 oils provide the good kind of cholesterol, HDL. If you raise HDL, that will be more preventive of future heart disease than lowering LDL unless you're LDL was sky high.
