nuvaring depression

Well I started the Nuvaring on the 17th of February... the first day of my period which is what the doctor told me to do. Its now the 8th of March and Im still bleeding. Very lightly, but its enough to have me wear a liner every single day. Last night I woke up feeling extremely sick. Today, this morning, I started vomiting. Could I be pregnant? Is there a chance? Its so confusing because there have been so many women who have gotten pregnant while using a birth control contraceptive.

So I got my nexplanon removed march 4th, I went and got the nuvaring. Needless to say I forgot it in my car for a few days had intercourse with hubby then remembered I had not put in my nuvaring... dumb me I know!!! Now for almost a week ive been having pregnancy symptoms.. like double the intensity I had with both my children. Ive been readin online and it says to effectivly switch from implant to nuvaring it needs to be in for 7 days before implant removal.

Hey ladies, I have been on the nuvaring for almost a month now and have noticed uncontrollable and almost debilitating mood swings. I have literally cringed, cried and felt like I was crawling out of my very own skin and for no REAL reason. It has greatly effected my relationships. The main site says that common side effects are mood swings, including depression. I do have a history of being emotionally unstable.

Then they will stop) weight gain (but I have been controlling with a strict diet plan) mood swings, depression, hair loss...etc. I'm sick of it and it's only making me more depressed because I want to be ME again...A happy girl! So I talked to my doctor about this and he suggested NuvaRing to stop my periods. I felt like I was pressured into getting it as my doctor just saw me smile and he said "okay..I'll order that for you.

I was on the Nuvaring for 3 months and I WOULD NOT recommend it, especially if you have a history of depression. The Nuvaring turned me into a psycho, constantly crying for no reason sometimes. I had suicidal thoughts, feelings of worthlessness. I was just insane. I took it out today and said goodbye to all the madness.I don't know if it's just a mind thing, but I feel chipper already. It's convenient but it's not worth the pain.

m super depressed and extremely moody and the only change that i can pinpoint is the nuvaring! I am 4 months pp but I dont feel like that is the reason i feel like this!! I have always been on the pill and thought I'd try something new??? Also my breast have gotten much much larger im having pretty bad cramping randomly lower abd and have noticed iv been having lots of leg cramps! I definitly dont think its a clot or anything! Also have started having anxiety/panic attacks!

I like the nuvaring. Didn't like the depo shot gained about In water weight took me over 18 months to loose.

I tried to stick it out with the seasonique but I just recently got so fed up with the depression and symptoms I stopped taking it all together. I had NO sex drive on seasonique and now I have a healthy one again but I want to find a birth control that does not take away my sex drive or make me depressed. I was thinking maybe ortho tri cylcen low. Any suggestions? Does anyone actually like the bc they are on??? PLEASE help!! thanks!

i started Nuvaring 3 weeks ago yesterday when i was supposed to ive had sex w/o protection quite a few times since. I was supposed to start my period yesterday Im NEVER late early if anything I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. Is it possible that I am pregnant and that its just not showing up positive yet?

I am sorry to hear about your issues with nuvaring. I had started the nuvaring for perimenopause issues my gyn said would help. No docs Ive talked to since have heard of this being used for anything other than birth control my but tubs have been tied for years.After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.

I started using the NuvaRing on April 15th and before I used the IUD. I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. On the 7th day I noticed around my nipples were sore and still to this day they are still sore. So is there a chance I could be pregnant or could his be due to the NuvaRing?

t feel anything and i had the rod in my arm but had to have it removed cause i got really bad depression on it. not too keen on the pill cause knowing me id forget to take it. what would u guys suggest is good?

My periods have been very heavy with the past one lasting two weeks with large tissue discharge. It just ended Sunday after beginning one week before removing Nuvaring and only ending once Nuvaring was reinserted. It is so irregular that I could bleed any time of the month at any intensity for any period of time. This past one was so bad that I had to sleep with a heating pad nightly. What could this mean?

I was on the NuvaRing for 3 months straight and used it to skip my cycle. After the 3rd or 4th week I would take it out & put in a new ring. The nuvaring always made me have weird symptoms. I swear I thought I was pregnant all the time. I never was. But if you had unprotected sex and then put it in... well you had unprotected sex. Birth control isn't going to work until a week after you put it in which is why they say to double up the method. Best thing to do is wait until you're supposed to take it out and take a pregnancy test. Or take one now since you would have had sex 2 weeks ago and it should be pretty accurate.
