Is pregnancy symptoms (sore breasts, sensitive nipples, nausea, constipation, cramping, fatigue, increased urination) a side effect from stoping nuva ring? I had a normal period Dec. 18-22 and am not expecting my period until the 17 of jan. but my symptoms started the 24th of dec. I stopped nuvaring on dec. 15th. I have tried resting, drinking gingerale, drinking less fluids, eating more ruffage.

The next day I was feeling really weak and sick, and I started waking up really nauseous every morning, and I end up going back to sleep to sleep it off and stay in bed until afternoon. Yesterday I freaked out because my back was hurting and with the nausea I thought I might have a kidney infection or something, but it's kinda been coming and going.

My partner and I, same one, again had unprotected sex on the 27th Nov 2011 while nuvaring was NOT in place since i took it out on 25 Nov 2011. After the encounter, i peed like i normally do. Literally within the hour i began to feel a light cramping in my lower abdomen (i can point to it better then i can explain it im sorry) but it was predominately on my lower left side moving to the right and sort of down on occasion.

YES! It can cause diabetes! It is listed as glucose intolerance in the side effects. I went though 8 months of #@!& on nuvaring. I went to the doc because I wad exhausted all of the time, fuzzy brained, and starting to loose my hair. When I asked if it could be the birth control, my question was dismissed. They tried to put me on all of this medication for slightly elevated blood sugar. I refused. I decided to go off the nuvaring, which I was on only for acne.

I was on Nuvaring for 5 years...I got off a month and a half ago and the first week I gained 7 lbs. I totally freaked out! But I remained positive and continued to workout as usual and eat helathy and actually ended up dropping ten lbs.

Have any of you gotten pregnant the first month on Nuvaring? Or has it ever made you THINK you're pregnant because of its side effects? I've had the following: Mild cramps for the past 5 days Headaches Fatigue According to the app I'm 3weeks. (If I am pregnant) I would like to hear your experiences is all. All of the extra hormones, including the hormones inside of the semen, make your vagina very sensitive to semen. When i was on the nuvaring...semen burned. Nuvaring=hormones. No nuvaring and not pregnant=fine. Now 36 weeks pregnant and semen burns.

Lexi is nine months old now, and I quit birth control three or four months ago because I tried the NuvaRing and hated it (my cervix was really low when I put it in, and it made it uncomfortable). Recently I have only been on Nuvaring nothing else and started to get tremors in hands and feet, I took it out a week after when I realized these symptoms were only getting worse even after quitting coffee and other stimulants so I took out my Nuvaring and the trmors have started to subside. I was on it for a year and everything was great before this so its just an example of how it can be something you would never think of because youve had no problems with it.

I'm on nuvaring too and I'm usually way more than 3 days late. I'll take the ring out on Sunday and then won't get my period until Friday. I know how you feel, though. I get totally freaked out when my period is late too. But the reply before yours, peekawho, is right. Wait a week and test again.

I had my last period from Monday april 15-Saturday morning april 20th. I started birth control that following Sunday, april 21st. I took the birth control for 4 days and then stopoed because I kept forgetting to take them. My boyfriend and I had sex two or three times since my last period. I am also allergic to latex and tried the NuvaRing and had quite a severe latex allergic reaction to it. I ripped my Gyno a new one after that happened. I understand that it's technically latex-free, but it contains the same main ingredient as latex (which is what caused the reaction) and I feel that needs to be mentioned on the box at least.

I had sex fathers day and the 29th and the condom broke but i hav the nuva ring and i got my period but its lasts 3-4 days well i put nuvaring back in on july 5th then had unprotected sex (pull out) on the 7th of july i feel different always hungry n and expect period in a wk wen can i test or how do i kno for sure if test is negative could it be from nuvaring because with my 2yo i had missed period n tested negative

3 months ago I switched to Nuvaring from the pill. Hubby and I were going to wait until the spring to start ttc. My dr said I could leave my ring in for 4 weeks to avoid my period so technically I haven't had my period since October 9. I have exactly 1 week until I can either take it out for my period or leave it in to avoid it. I have been bloated and hungry all the time. Yesterday I was exhausted after shopping for 2 hours and napped when I woke up I was so nauseous.

I am now on day 3 of no nuvaring and I am cramping bleeding large blood clots and I cant find any info about what to expect after the removal and stopping the use of nuvaring

Hi there, I am a 29 year old female - and about 7 months ago I stopped using Nuvaring. I already had a bit of adult acne and some weight gain before I stopped, but after I stopped the acne went a little crazy - on the lower half of my face and my neck. It has also been a bit over 6 months since I've had a period, which is beginning to freak me out.

I started using the NuvaRing on April 15th and before I used the IUD. I took out the NuvaRing on May 6th but did not have my period. So I put it back in 7 days later. On the 7th day I noticed around my nipples were sore and still to this day they are still sore. So is there a chance I could be pregnant or could his be due to the NuvaRing?

I had unprotected sex today. I recently started on Nuvaring and was told I needed 7 days for it to become effective. Today is the 7th day. Should I take a Plan B just in case?

My periods have been very heavy with the past one lasting two weeks with large tissue discharge. It just ended Sunday after beginning one week before removing Nuvaring and only ending once Nuvaring was reinserted. It is so irregular that I could bleed any time of the month at any intensity for any period of time. This past one was so bad that I had to sleep with a heating pad nightly. What could this mean?

I just started the nuvaring again after being off birth control for 3 years or so. I never had an issue with it before but I am having intense feelings of anxiety.
