Never during that whole time I was in the hospital or months afterwards did any doctor link the pancreatitis to the NuvaRing. I experienced this while the nuvaring was still in, but thought it was just breakthrough bleeding. I went home on break and checked my calendar and realized i should have taken the nuvaring out the day before. I took the ring i had in out, and went back to work for four hours until i could pick up my new nuvaring at the pharmacy after work. I put it in as soon as i got home, thinking i was putting it in on the first day of my period so i would be immediately protected.

Many people have experienced pains and light bleeding while having intercourse and using nuvaring. It seems to affect everyone differently, but it's very likely the nuvaring is the source of your problems. I would suggest trying a different form of birth control, as this one is obviously not for you.

The next day I was feeling really weak and sick, and I started waking up really nauseous every morning, and I end up going back to sleep to sleep it off and stay in bed until afternoon. Yesterday I freaked out because my back was hurting and with the nausea I thought I might have a kidney infection or something, but it's kinda been coming and going.

I removed the ring 2 days early. I have been bleeding enough to need a pad since yesterday and today I passed a 2 inch by 2 inch flat piece of fleshy colored tissue, it was on the toilet paper when I wiped. I then felt my cervix which felt like another fleshy bit was coming out of it, so with thumb and forefinger in me I grabbed the tissue and attached to it was a dark purple grape sized and shaped mass. Very light cramps, all neg preg tests. Are these just endometrial tissue,?

I was on the pill and took it at the same time everyday and went to the doctors about having a really bad headache and needing a wee a lot and test for a uti but found I was pregnant instead was very unexpected and have got my first scan next week

t supposed to come on until you take the NuvaRing out, but I also know you can experience some bleeding while on birth control. Nevertheless I made a doctor's appointment & found out I was pregnant. At this point my doctor said she can't determine how far along I am, because she can't be sure if I was bleeding due to a period or if I was already pregnant. I'm scheduled for an ultrasound in a few days. I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this.

m supposed to take the Nuvaring out, and I wonder if that softened my cervix and caused this breakthrough bleeding? Or is this watery red blood, nausea, diarrhea, and mood swings all signs of early pregnancy? I took a HPT around week 2, and it was negative. I'm hoping it is just my body getting used to the new level of hormones! But I have heard many stories of people getting pregnant while using Nuvaring.

My cramps last the normal duration (the first two days of bleeding), but the bleeding will not stop until I take the Nuvaring out and let my period run its course. Does this make any sense? My insurance won't cover replacing the ring every two weeks, but you're definitely not supposed to take it out for a week and put it back in. Also, this isn't helping me at all! I still have cramps, and, unless I want to bleed forever, I still have to have my period every month!

My partner and I, same one, again had unprotected sex on the 27th Nov 2011 while nuvaring was NOT in place since i took it out on 25 Nov 2011. After the encounter, i peed like i normally do. Literally within the hour i began to feel a light cramping in my lower abdomen (i can point to it better then i can explain it im sorry) but it was predominately on my lower left side moving to the right and sort of down on occasion.

If your periods do not come in next few days and you are in doubt take up urine pregnancy test. Consult your gynecologist and get your doubts clarified. Take care and kind regards!

I was on the Nuvaring and took it out around the 23rd of April and had my period like normal. We have had sex every night since then (because I wasn't sure if my ovulation would be normal) and two night ago I started spotting, then yesterday morning the blood flow was heavier, and then stopped and again this morning I started bleeding heavy. I'm having all the pregnancy symptoms (I have a 2 year old so I know how it goes) but all the home tests I take are negative.

But you also mentioned your on birthcontrol i never was on IUD but im on the nuvaring and it hurts when the guy hits the nuvaring but i dont have any blood...those re just some things you could ask your gyn to check you for...let me know what it is im interested and hope you get better!..

so i am 16 and i started on nuvaring about 6 months ago, maybe more. this past month i have been bleeding a large amount while the ring was still in. i never take mine out to get my period. i just change it. however this time (2 days ago) i took it out. my bleeding has started to decrease since i took it out. i have had sharp stomach pain with diraeha and migraines. i’m worries about preganancy. help?!

I was instructed by my doctor to start taking the pill the first day of my period. Two days before my expected period I had some bleeding and I thought it was my period so I took the first pill. A few hours later I realized that I had not gotten my period but must have just spotted. I continued to take the pills regularly, I have taken five so far. (My doctor said that it would be ok to continue to take them). My question is, how does this affect my cycle? Should I expect some bleeding?

or what help please!! i havent been on birth control ( nuvaring) for about a month and a half and tomorrows when my period is suspose to come...what could this be?

It's my second time using the nuvaring method. I was on the IUD method but my uterus rejected it two times; so the dr. suggested to take it out & use another method(on March 2nd). So i decided to go back on the nuvaring method; eventhough, I was having complications the 1st time I used this method. Thought i had just used it wrong the 1st time. On March 5, I started my period(light period) & decided to have intercourse with my partner(who i've been with for 2yrs).

I was diagnosed with HPV at least 5 years ago and occasionally have abnormal pap smears but for the most part have no pain or issues with it and have been with the same partner for 3.5 years. For a while, I was taking my NuvaRing in and out before and after sex to avoid bleeding but when the problem didn't go away, the doctor recommended leaving it in because the constant removal of the ring may have been causing even more irritation to my cervix.
