nasonex ears

Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.

But my question is should I go back to taking the nasonex? Was it a good thing that the nasonex made it louder because maybe it was just cleaning my ear out from the fluid, since it stopped ringing completely later that night which it hasnt done all week. But I dont know because it was a lot more irritating that night then ever! When I got out of the hot shower. I'm starting to think maybe the hot shower could be whats really irritating it more.

My name is Kimberly, I am 40 years old. About 7 years ago I was treated with Nasonex in conjunction with a cpap machine for my sleep apnea. After that every time I bent over water would pour out of one side of nose. At first I thought it was blood, but it was the exact consitency of water. I stooped using the nasonex and the cpap ueats ago. This has happened off and on for years.About 6 months ago I noticed the drip was back, as well as occasional water out of my ears.

ve tried all the home remedies to remove the fluid....ear drops, hair dryer blown at ear, heat pack on ear, popping my ears (which I tried and failed to do). I can't find anything else to try that doesn't sound ridiculous. I am open to any suggestions. The fluid is driving me nuts and I can't hear.

Went to a doctor today..I have a noise in my left ear sounds like listening to a sea shell and I hear echos listening to people talk or the tv.. he said ear was clean and gave me for two weeks Nasonex said if don't work come back..I don't have a cold nose isn't backup no sinus pain or head ache..is this normal to give allergy meds for ear problems ??

I get slight pains on and off back in my ears and in front of my ears (jaw area). When I yawn, it makes my ears ache a bit, I can feel fluid in them, and I almost immediately feel more congested. This afternoon I went back to the doctor. She said that I have fluid built up behind my ears but no sign of infection. Now, she prescribed steroids (Medrol Dosepack 4 mg) to take for the next 6 days and Astelin nasal spray. She wants to refer me to an ENT if this hasn't helped in 2 weeks.

Soon enough I went to visit a doctor about it who took a look at my ears and told me they were perfectly fine but he gave me some xyzal and nasonex nose spray. After taking both the noise began to slowly fade away but this odd feeling in my ear has still persisted and every time I yawn I can still feel the slight uncomfortable/pain at the left side of my neck.

For over a month I had been having some slight issues with my throat being irritated and my ears aching a bit. Sometimes when I would chew food I would get pain in my right ear and even my right eye would ache. Also, the right side of my throat feels a tad bit swollen. If you look at my throat it looks red and irritated. I had what I guess was a tonsil stone come out a few weeks ago.

ive been diagnosed with having a retracted right ear. ive been given nasonex nasal spray ( steriod spray ) by the hospital and told to use it in both nostrils for four weeks and in the mean time im waiting to have a MRI scan. ive taken the nasal spray for nearly 2 weeks now and there is no change. im still getting pressure constantly and the constant pressure noises are driving me mad yet alone the ear pain .

Nasal saline irrigations over the counter like NeilMed or Neti pot are very effective, but worsen Eustachian tube dysfunction (water in the ears or feeling of fullness in the ears). The best diagnosis for this problem is a CT of the sinuses. Surgery is recommended to patients that fail maximal medical treatment. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Hi, just had a question. I get ringing in my ears that both my family doc and ENT says are caused from allergies. It comes and goes, somedays it's barly noticeable, somedays it's worse, it's similar to if you clench your teeth, it's that same noise, I take nasonex everyday as suggested by my ENT. I do gave a clicking in my jaw, so now I'm half wondering if its TMJ, or if its because I still have my wisdom teeth?

After having throat/ear issues for over a month, I went to the doctor 10 days ago. He said I had a ton of fluid behind my ears and there was inflammation. He also said that my right ear drum looked really dull. He thinks my issues are being caused by a sinus infection. I've been taking Nasonex and antibiotics for 11 days and am still having problems. I have experienced ear/eustachian tube pain in both ears (although one is much worse) since a dentist appointment to repair a broken tooth 2 months ago. I've had a cold brought on from allergies for over a week. It caused fluid to build up in my left ear. I've been given lots of sample allergy pills and told to get Mucinex to help remove the fluid but neither has worked. Then I was given a prescription for an antibiotic which has not worked. After internet research finally tried using Nasonex and that seems to be the only thing that helps, usually it helps, and usually it helps the most if I use it soon enough with the start of symptoms. Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?

I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!

I am 11 weeks pregnant and have been suffering with a congested head with pains in my ears and temples and a full head for 6 weeks. Paracetamol dont work and i am unable to take anything else. I have been to the doctors today and they cannot give me anything because of the pregnancy. He did say that my nasal passage was very red and inflamed. So the pain goes from the ear and down to the jawline. My ears are constanty popping, especially at night. I cannot stand loud noises and everyday normal sounds seems somewhat turned on the highest volume. If a child cries in a supermarcket i will be the only one putting my hands on my ears and looking at the child with pleading eyes for him to stop. I cannot stand table sounds, people chewing on things, sound of plates/forks/knives and glasses touching each other.

These usually happen when my head is stuffed, my ears feel clogged, and i have aching in my neck. The vertigo spells are horrible; i feel like i am falling to one side, or im spinning. I currently take Levothyroxine for a thyroid disorder. I am on no other medications. For the last year I have had fullness in both my ears. It is getting to be very uncomfortable and bothersome. Have you tried going back to nasonex or asking your doc for a different nasal spray...there are many prescription nasal sprays out. Might could try zyrtec once daily especially during allergy season, as it is now over the counter. Some people find good results with nasal saline. It is inexpensive, shouldnt cause rebound. I would at least follow up with your doc for a recheck to make sure nothing else is going on. PS..elevate the head of your bed about 4 to 6 inches. May give some relief.

t even get to the end of the complaints on the internet about nose bleeds from nasonex! Well, my nose bleeds started with nasonex, the first time around was in the '90's, and no one seemed to know then that the nose bleeds were a side effect, although I kept having them and realized then that they occurred after using nasonex. Later, around 2007, I was told by a doctor, that it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it again, that it was actually a good drug.

I have also been having vertigo issues for the past nine months or so. Have tried several medications such as Zyrtec D, Flonase, Nasonex, Xyzal....also nasal rinses, and some vitamins and herbs...nothing works for long. Today the doc decided to start testing me for allergies to try to get to the root of the fluid and swelling in my ears. Your results sound interesting. I have in the past from time to time has what I think are fever blisters around the corners of my mouth.
