nasonex

29837 tn?1414534648 I've had sinus problems for years. Post nasal drip for one. I'm a professional singer and it's been tormenting me for years. Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?
Avatar n tn I just started using Nasonex (steroid nasal spray), and it really helps my allergies and sinus headache, and eye-related sinus problems. But I also have PVCs and my heart pounds a lot (can feel it in my head, back, etc). I'm wondering whether Nasonex is safe to take long term if I have these heart issues. Doctor just shrugged his shoulders when I asked. Anyone know?
531684 tn?1216745984 I have been having problems with Nasanex to.
Avatar m tn The thing that started me on the path to a-fib 13 yrs ago was ephedrine and pseudo-ephedrine as found (or used to be found) in Nyquil. The ephedrine I got from Metabolife, a diet aid popular in the 90's. I wouldn't touch that stuff with a ten foot pole now. I'm not sure but I think epinephrine might cause problems too. Just always check the ingredients on the bottle and if there's any doubt call your Dr.s office or at least your local pharmacist.
Avatar f tn think I must be going crazy. After having throat/ear issues for over a month, I went to the doctor 10 days ago. He said I had a ton of fluid behind my ears and there was inflammation. He also said that my right ear drum looked really dull. He thinks my issues are being caused by a sinus infection. I've been taking Nasonex and antibiotics for 11 days and am still having problems. Here is where I think it gets weird. My ear bothers me when I go outside even for just a few minutes.
Avatar n tn Hello, I have been taking Nasonex for 5 months now and starting 10 days ago, I started experiencing weird sensation in the left area of my chest, it would only happen 3 to 6 times a day and it would feel like someone just tapped the someone of my chest with a finger or two, after 3 or 4 days experiencing this, I just completly stopped using Nasonex and have been off Nasonex for 5 days and 11 hours now.
Avatar f tn Ocassionally my left eye swells and is painful. On thoses days I want to patch my eye to keep the light out. Is there anything else I can do to help with the dryness. She suggested Nasonex, which opens my sinus up and I feel like I'm drowing which they do without the medicine. Please advise. Thank you.
Avatar m tn Suggestion of the two things I have mentioned can; not saying they WILL. I would try them in combination.
548980 tn?1214822412 I eat well, I drink lots and lots of water, I dont drink alcohol, I do smoke-which i know i need to stop, and im on Nasonex spray, Astelin Spray, Allegra, Antivert (take as needed), Klonopin and Paxel (sp?). The Klonopin and Paxel are for the anxiety... Thanks in advance.
Avatar f tn Three weeks later the nausea developed as if I were pregnant and then the headaches that were like a bulls eye behind eyes and nose and face, central face. It did however radiate to ear on one side and jaw. I never had sinus issues and never had many headaches. These pains were stabbing pains like daggers behind the eyes and I had never in my life experienced this before. It was a definate clue that something was wrong.
Avatar n tn Ok so for over a year now i have had a build up of fluid or lymph next to my eyes around the ethmoid sinuses. It started one morning when i woke up and had what looked like a cyst of fluid next to one eye. I put clearasil on it and it slowly reduced the size of it but never totally went away. I kept putting clearasil on it and tried to ignore it as much as possible. I went to South America for 2 weeks and when i came back the fluid had totally drained out (Didn't lift weights there).
Avatar f tn After making the connection with my new symptoms and Nasonex, I stopped using it instantly. Only been taking it for 2 weeks. After about a week a lot of the side effects subsided; no more panic attacks, mood swings, brain fog, head pressure. I got a CAT scan done as well and everything came back good; she did say something about my sinuses being small but that it's normal considering my allergies.

I had this problem for about 4 weeks now ..and the GP I'm seeing here put me on Nasonex he said could be in my sinus since he look into my ears and they were clean. I'm 53 years old .no ringing . but hear people talk again like a echo..plus the sound of putting a sea shell up to my hear..I learn to put the tv on really loud .than doesn't bug me as much..

Avatar n tn t whether I should Just keep doing the Nasonex and nothing else and wait n see? or if I should take some Sudafed and see what that does. Im not usually a person that takes medicines a lot I usually just like to work out and exercise a lot and let my body take care of it. But I never had tinnitus for 2 months before haha...but I'm just wondering what would be the better alternative do you think?
Avatar n tn Anxiety and depression often go hand-in-hand. Polyps need to be evaluated to determine if they are benign or not and if they need to be watched or removed. Nasal teeth are a result of supernumerary teeth (extra teeth) erupting into the nasal cavity. They can cause many problems and some can be serious and....no...this isn't common. This explains your jaw pain, dizziness and sinus pressure although you may also have an infection and I hope this has been ruled out.
Avatar f tn For over a month I had been having some slight issues with my throat being irritated and my ears aching a bit. Sometimes when I would chew food I would get pain in my right ear and even my right eye would ache. Also, the right side of my throat feels a tad bit swollen. If you look at my throat it looks red and irritated. I had what I guess was a tonsil stone come out a few weeks ago.
Avatar f tn What steroid inhaler is working well for you? You stated you had problems with Symbicort and I am assuming you are no longer using that. Correct? You should try the Singulair because this can be more effective for controlling the Allergic Rhinitis and the Asthma. The physician can CLOSELY monitor your liver with labs while you are taking the medication. Liver issues CAN develop on this drug; remember this is NOT a given meaning this doesn't mean this WILL happen.
Avatar m tn I went to the doctor and was told the back of my throat and uvula were inflamed and was given an assortment of treatments to fix that problem. Yet this past night I was still unable to go to sleep, but the gasping part of the problem appeared to be gone and my throat for the time being seems to be better. So is it a simple cycle of me not getting sleep that is leading to stress that in turn leads to more sleep problems?
Avatar n tn I tried Nasonex too...I have a cough too and I feel like a good antibiotic would clear it all up, but the doctor says no. I just want to feel better . Some of these entries are old...why not write again and tell us what you did to get relief. This discussion is related to Phlegm build up in throat (Sinuses Clear).
