The ER doctor also used a gloved finger to push some of the pocketed fluid to the surface. The drainage is now brown and the pus is seen but so deep. I have simple partial seizures and was on xanax on an "as needed" basis to control some nervousness about going back to college. I was on it for about 2 months. I started realizing I got less of my sensory and motor seizures which have always been uncontrollable since I started getting them back in 2000.

Eye has had 5 retina surgeries, has band kerapothy, and no lens. PCC told me it's ok because the mupirocin is also used for eye preparations. Correct?

Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from wearing tight clothing which causes blockage of the follicle. The damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).
Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment is usually sufficient to cause a resolution.
They got better after 2 weeks but after a few days many pimples appeared all over my body. I went to a doctor again and she prescribed erythromycin and more mupirocin. Using these antibiotics helped to control the disease but never caused it to disappear completely. After finishing the treatment course the pimples quickly came back in large numbers.

It sounds like you can tolerate Mupirocin but the topical isn't enough for your tissue infection. I recently went to a park with my friend and when I got home,noticed small bumps on my thigh. I assumed they would go away soon enough and didn't bother about them too much. In the next 2 days, the bumps had grown massively to the size of ping pong balls and hurt a lot. Hi Doctor, about 10 days ago I shaved my pubic area with an electric trimmer. Admittedly, it wasn't completely sanitized, as I had previously used it for my face/beard. I showered immediately afterwards. In ensuing days, I noticed an increased amount of red spots around the area I shaved. (I've had a few of them in the past, but always thought they were simply acne.) It wasn't until the past week that I suspected some type of infection.
I had a red bump on my grown, the NP I saw thinks it's folliculitis but did not perscribe anything to treat it. I've had it for 5 days now and it does not appear to be much better, the pustule opened up yesterday but the skin underneath it still irritated and red. I'm worried about it, treating it at home with white vinegar hot compress and apply iodine.
How long should this take to clear up?

If it is on the skin then it can be a sebaceous cyst and small punch biopsy or wide excision may be used to treat it. If it is inside the testicle then it can be a spermatocele. Spermatocele is a retention cyst of a tubule and is benign in nature. Usually they are left as such if not causing any symptom, but if they are causing pain, then they have to be removed.

The treatments do seem to be helping to reduce the rash (I was given Valacyclovir and Mupirocin 2% ointment to treat both) but the itching is still out of control. Has anyone here experienced an aggressive itch related to these conditions, or do you think it's more likely scabies, or possibly an allergic reaction to some sort of insect bite?

I was prescribed Mupirocin for a non-healing nasal ulcer. I used it for about 2 days then woke up with a bad headache today from the get go. I've tried everything I can. I have taken Tylenol TWICE, Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen in it, nasal spray, a Breathe Right nasal strip (since I do have severe sinus problems.) NOTHING has worked or given any relief.
