Hope that our next try is more successful.
ok, i know it says DO NOT have alcohol while taking Wellbutrin, but do any of you drink occasionally? I love a glass of red wine at night? I forgot to ask my DR. this today when she prescribed it...
Only my husbend and mother and whoever reads this post knows that I'm pregnant. And I am spotting red but not all the time with very mild discomfort and have sore breasts for symtoms. But I will go and see my doctor tomorrow for the first time since I've learned I'm pregnant. Please take care of yourself and I wish you the best of luck!
The dizziness resembled being carsick, with lightheadedness and occasional moments of nausea and feeling faint (but I never passed out). I had a CAT scan and blood work twice, and so far no diagnosis for the dizziness/fatigue. It got better for a few weeks but last week I began to have dizzy spells again, this time accompanied by maxillary sinus pressure. I had just switched allergy medications, from Nasonex to generic Flonase, right at the time my symptoms returned.

The foul, sulfuric rotten egg/bad red wine burps and flatulence (and diarrhea) are mortifying. I have studied the entire human body (in my profession), and have close friendships with several internists. However, I have no health insurance. Based on what I've studied and have been told, the most likely culprits are gastroparesis (very slow emptying of the stomach) OR gall bladder disease.

I have low oxygen from sleep apnea and am on oxygen and asv for that. I'm really suffering and am exhausted and can't walk a block without getting tired and having my lungs burn. Aren't there ACE or beta blockers or metformin that can help me? Should I try some alcohol to relax? thanks so much!
where I have SEVERE pain in the midle of my gut (triggered by pain meds.....wine....greasy food...and ????) I get VERY pale...sweat PROFUSELY, drool and then either vomit....have watery stools, fart or....if I'm REALLY unlucky....suffer from these WAVES of pain, vaso-vagal(?) type symptoms for HOURS until they subside...sometimes hycosamine will work...sometimes 4 tums...and once and a while nothing but time cures it.....I have been told IBS....
Well i had my appontment and my dodctor had found red blood cells in my urine so now I know im not imaging things. If somthing is wrong with your urinary tract you could have a lot of pg symptoms. I was put on a med that would give me a yeast infection and so a "gyno" said that all my sympoms are from a yeast infection. Yeah right.
WOW! 22 pounds is a lot of weight to loose in such a short period of time! Good for you!!! I hope that I am able to loose 22 pounds in the next couple of months. Are you following a diet plan and working out? I have not started working out yet....maybe one day...I don't have a diet plan either I am just trying to make good choices and watch my portions. This way I know that when I stop the shots and medicine I won't gain it all back. Lets hope!!! Best of Luck to you...
news programs, newspapers, magazines, all in the past decade have given conflicting evidence about alcohol (red wine is good for you... or, no it's not, etc etc). Even the ADA (American Diabetes Association) hasn't really come out with any really useful guidelines for diabetics, but they at least *have* let us know the risks and told us what diabetic symptoms and conditions mean that a diabetic should NOT drink alcohol...
My sisters got PCOS and she takes Metformin 500mg twice a day and she said its really helped regulate her periods and there not as heavy or painful! Shes only 21 and not in a steady relationship but when she is ready to try for a family they gynae doc said hed team it with Clomid. When do u get your results back?
~Hello~have been doing ALOT of research on the same things ~ and the caffeine is realy BAD for you but ok for him ~ although it does take off the head of the sperm and can cause different malfunctions, but all in all caffeine helps the sperm swim faster ~ but caffeine before-during-and after TTC is really a no-no for us DW (dear wive's) ~ Green Tea is really good, and I've also read that red wine helps to increase the uterine lining ~ I've researched the heck out of everything to help and I've
It can also be due to excess consumption of food rich in sulfites like juices, molasses, yellow dye in ready made food stuffs, and red wine. Sulfites are present in lesser amounts in mashed potatoes made from dry powder, pickles, tinned shrimp, cookies, crackers, and readymade pie dough. Constipation can also cause bloating. Very sedentary lifestyle is another cause.
Let me know if there is anything I can do. Go have some sushi, brie and plenty of red wine. That usually makes me feel a little better. Will you try again soon?
He is diabetic - type 2 on dimacron and metformin. He has been doing well since the second bypass two years ago with his EF at 40-45%. The last two months he has been short of breathe and chest pain daily. Repeat Muga scan shows his EF now at 19%. He does drink alcohol about 3-4 glasses of rum a day despite knowing he shouldn't.
Hi Kristina~ Thanks for responding. I should've mentioned I started preparing for tx in Dec-07 knowing this and other things had the potential to be a factor &/or problem. Thus with the exception of Cheerios once in awhile (which I stopped and believe I had a normal iron panel after that as well) I avoided avoided iron enriched foods, natural foods containing iron along with supplements.
These conditions subside when my sugar levels drop - medication Metformin. Red wine is helpful as the alcohol lowers the sugar level.
I'm very thankful that I dont like beer or any other alcohol except Merlot, (red wine)...and when I feel the pressure of school life...I like to indulge in a glass or two. I've tested myself many times after drinking red wine, and my BS was always lower than expected. Thank you for telling me about your ex gf. Believe me, I've done hefty research on marijuana use...its medical and physiological properties....and it all comes down to the person who uses it.
I was taking 40 units of Lantus nightly, and 1000mg metformin. I am no longer taking Lantus but, I am still on metformin. Five months on Victoza I lost 32 pounds. Today I have lost a total of 48 pounds. A1C went from 8.2 to 6.7. Victoza does decrease your appetite tremendously; I have to force myself to eat at times. But, I also realized after not eating so much (stomach shrinkage) it becomes hard to overeat….which is a good thing for me. Victoza has been a Blessing for me.
Anyway, I finally had sex with DH again Saturday (yesterday) and started to spot (brown - dark, no red) which is completely weird. I never spot in between periods. Anyway, i had one digital test left and said "what the heck". I had literally JUST peed 5 mins before and managed to sqeeze out a few drops (like 5! haha) into a cup and stuck the test in. It started blinking so I jumped in the shower and put it on the outside ledge. AND THEN I SAW IT! YES+ IT SAID YES+!!
I haven't even left the house for almost 10 days. I called my RE and the pharmacist and they said to give the Metformin a little more time and my body will adjust. I don't want to go off of it because I can see the positive effects, counteracting the weird things my body started doing in May of last year: O'ing on my own, less acne, no weird hair on my neck, weight loss. . .and it has only been a week and a half!
its red looking as well, and i experience itchiness and a foul discharge... i have never been diagnosed with a yeast infection, nor ever treated myself for one. BUT iam convinced i have herpes, just not textbook. I also have gone and got tested, dont get results will wednesday. this has been the longest two weeks of my enitre life. i can only remember experience these symptons this past summer, and my sexual history at the time of my first 'infection' or outbreak, was none existant.
I have tried drinking red wine and alternating it with water and that helps, or maybe it just slows down my drinking - but again this last round of migraines was so bad I'm actually scared.
I did provera 2x already and clomid 50mg then 100mg this last time. I am finally am ovulating with the help of provera to get AF and clomid for the egg and metformin just cause!
I had a trigger shot on 12/31 and took Clomid 100 mg and am taking 1000 mg of Metformin. I should be testing around 1/13 since the RE told me to wait a full 2 weeks after the trigger. Has anyone ever gotten strong symptoms about 72 hours after the trigger?? I have been nasueated ever since and don't call me crazy but my stomach is swollen some and I have been having cramps on and off. Lisa: My RE said anything over a 5 is a + too!! Good Luck!! Thanks and SSBD to all of you!!
For now, just try to be good to yourself and let yourself heal.. I would recommend a good bottle of wine.. that has been my medicine when I've gotten the bfn's.. It will happen for you... my thoughts are with you..
