Hello, Femitrone and morning after pill when taken together can cause withdrawal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycle and it should not interfere with the working of the emergency contraceptive pill. However keep a check on your periods. If you miss them then do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your menstrual cycle. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

Hi,I have some confusion about the morning after pill and I'm pretty concerned. On Sunday the 9th at about 3 am I had sex and the condom broke. I took next choice one dose that day about 12 hours later.I think my cycle was 28 days but I'm not sure it may be 27 or 29,but either way I think that means I should have ovulated yesterday or within the next few days because my last period was June 1st.
what will/can happen if you take the morning after pill/plan B pill, and it is not needed? will it do harm to your body?
This is normal. I had 2 m/c's during Mar-May and after the second m/c, I had a short cycle then after that I had a 32 day cycle. Then I had 2 periods in one month. Now I am preggers again, 6 weeks 2 days. I wasn't even trying again, I was relaxing!!! I love how things can work out....Take Care sweetie!

I had 4 months of no period after my dosage was adjusted from 112 to 125 mcg a few months after the surgery, then my cycle came back to normal (or, as normal as it has been since then). Then, for some unexplained reason, this past fall, I had 3 periods in November, 2 in December, then more or less back on schedule since then. My endo checked my thyroid levels as well as FSH,LH, Estradoil, etc.
I had surgery 12/7 for a tt and on the morning after surgery I bled as well. I came home 2days post op with a full period. Yukk! Trauma (who knew such a small surgery was considered trauma?) from the surgery is what the nurse and surgeon told me. I did get a visit from dot regular this month- a full 4 weeks this time- which is great for me, hoping now I can actually track it by calendar dates and plan vacations etc. according! Hope this helped a bit!

I believe the morning after pill may cause POF (premature ovarian failure) I have a regular cycle until I took the morning after pill. After taking the pill my cycle never return to normal and now I have learned that I have POF. I will never be able to become pregnant without egg donor. Morning after pill changed my life.
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The New York City Department of Education has begun offering the so-called morning-after pill to students in a pilot program at 13 high schools across the city. The school nurse offices have been stocked with Plan B emergency contraception and others like it in an effort to combat teen pregnancy, according to a statement from the Department of Education. The birth control will be available to students as young as 14 without parental notification, according to the DOE.
Basically there was zero protection. This was around 11pm. I took the morning after pill the next day around 5pm. It was just one pill, from the chemist. I've seen that apparently the MAP isnt effective if you are in your fertile days when the unprotected sex happened. Today is the 29th and i am feeling extremely fatigued (for no reason), and have a strange twingey feeling on and off in my lower abdomen area.. Any advise would be appreciated! P.
If this is the case and anyone has experienced this, does the cycle become regular again after the body had re-adjusted? I also had to take the morning after pill last week (7 days ago) as my cycle is so all over the place I didn't want to take the risk of being safe. Could this also be reason for the irregular bleed that started yesterday?
Hello, I've taken a Postinor Pill (Morning after pill) 19 hours after an incident with a broken condom. Unfortunately that was the earliest I could take it due to the timing of events (Easter Public holidays sure do make things difficult). He was still in me for a few moments before pulling out and discovering that it was leaking, so I'm sure some got in me.
