Avatar f tn I got my period on the 5th of december. I took the morning after pill on the 14 of december. I then started my period again on the 22nd of december. Should I have expected for my regular period to come on the 5th of january? And would I have ovulated again after this second period?
Avatar m tn The woman said her last period was a couple weeks ago. We got her the Plan B morning after pill, which she took the next day. Soooo, what is the risk here of a very much unwanted pregnancy? Thank you.
Avatar f tn Hello, I've taken a Postinor Pill (Morning after pill) 19 hours after an incident with a broken condom. Unfortunately that was the earliest I could take it due to the timing of events (Easter Public holidays sure do make things difficult). He was still in me for a few moments before pulling out and discovering that it was leaking, so I'm sure some got in me.
Avatar n tn what will/can happen if you take the morning after pill/plan B pill, and it is not needed? will it do harm to your body?
Avatar f tn I toke a morning after pill on March 31 and had a period in the month of April, but now in the month of May my period is late. i toke a pregnancy test and it read negative. is there any chance that i can still be pregnant?
3105645 tn?1341444760 It depends on where u were in your cycle ..if u track your periods u can figure out your ovulation..on the morning after pill I've seen the success rate at between 80-90 percent stopping pregnancy...especially because you took it so soon after the unprotected sex ...the #1 side effect from this pill is messing up your period so you might get it earlier than usual or a little later ..good luck ..
Avatar m tn I had protected sex 7 days ago (Friday) but the condom slipped off of him as he pulled out although it was quite far out of me. I took the morning after pill (Madonna) that Sunday morning very early. It's been 5 days since I took the pills and this morning I had a very tiny amount of brown spotting when I went to the bathroom but not enough for me to need to wear a liner or pad and has vanished now. I am expecting my period in the next 8-9 days.
Avatar f tn i took the morning after pill 20 hours later. the second time was the day after i took the pill. in both cases, my boyfriend did not ejaculate anywhere near my vagina. what are my chances of getting pregnant?
Avatar n tn I had unprotected sex at that same time and took the morning after pill 24 hours after. Today after I went to the bathroom, I noticed I was bleeding. The bleeding lasted no more than 3 hours; it has now become more of spotting. Could I be pregnant? Or what other syptoms could this lead to? Is bleeding normal after taking the morning after pill?

Avatar f tn Hi In July i was sexually active with my husband and i overdosed on morning after pill. i took morning after pill 4 times in one week and i have not had my menstrual cycle since. i am not on birth control (Qlaira) but i'm still not going on my periods. I have been to a GP and Gynaecologist and did pregnanc test - I am no pregnant, my worry is how much damage has the pill done? will i ever get my period back? It's been 4 months now. Am i still fertile? will i ever fall pregnant again?
Avatar f tn I suggest she gets the morning after pill just to make sure that she does not get pregnant. You can purchase these from the pharmacy without a prescription - you may need to ask the pharmacist. If not, she can get them from the family planning clinic and the doctor can also prescribe them. Not worth worrying to find out if her next period will come on time to see if she is or isn't pregnant. Don't do this habitually though.
Avatar f tn I believe you can take the morning after pill up to 72 hours after sex and it will still be somewhat effective. As mentioned above it's not 100% so I would follow up with a pregnancy test eventually to be sure.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone, I am 27 years old and not currently on the pill. I had an appointment schedule to renew my prescription but had intercourse prior and the condom slipped off. Even though we were also using spermicide, on the following day, Oct 4th, I took the morning after pill to be safe. My previous period ended on Sept 28th. A week after taking the morning after pill, Oct 10-12, I had three days of heavy bleeding/clotting along with thick mucous.

Avatar n tn Alright, I took the morning after pill twice in a period of one month.. I know it wasn't the best of choices & I should get onto a form of contraceptive and I will but besides that Im scared of what this now may mean for me. The last time I took it was give or take 2 and a half weeks ago and the other one was today 01/11/16. I havn't had my period although 4 days after taking the last one I had a very light period for a day and a half.
Avatar n tn OK, my girlfirend had her period on the first week of Nov, and we had unprotected sex approx 1 week after she was done her period. she decided to take the "Morning after pill/Plan B Pill" to be on the safe side. She ended up gettin her period early. We had unprotected sex again after her period, but we are not sure if it was a real period or just heavy spotting. She was bleeding kinda heavy for 4 days. She is postive that its not spotting, thats its a full period.
Avatar f tn m confused as to whether the cramping is due to frequent intercourse or PMS. I cannot afford the morning after pill so I need answers before resorting to it if I possibly have to.
Avatar n tn Given that I was on the pill for so long, does it take time for my cycle to normalize? I have no idea what the length of my cycle was prior to starting the pill. Thanks for any advice.
Avatar f tn I want to know if it is possible to take the pill to regulate my cycle, as well as to lessen the cramps and the bleeding. I have had two periods since I had my son the first one was short and sweet but the second one was awful. I had to change every hour. I have never had cramps or extremely heavy bleeding but now I have both. I don't even get any relief pain wise until I take four pills. I don't want to get into to much detail but its bad.
