It feels like menstrual cramps. It is only on the right side of my lower abd (where I usually get my menstrual cramps). It has been going on for several hours now and it is slightly rhythmic. Is this normal. I have read that it probably is but I am still really freaked out about it. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything that I can do to relieve the cramps. They are not really painful but are quite annoying.

I ve read so much about cramps in early pregnancy that i ended up concerned about miscarriage and ectopic. I will have another ultra in the end of this week and hopefully everyting will be fine! My cramps don't fel like menstrual though. Any thoughts?
The earliest symptom I had prior to that was just this odd pulling sensation in my abdomen. It was totally unlike menstrual cramps, totally unlike any cramp I'd ever felt, just a really quick momentary almost pinching sensation in my stomach that would then release. It would happen once or twice a day for about a week, and I would be like, hmm, odd...and then keep going about my business. I didn't initially connect it to pregnancy, not until my period was a little late too.
My boyfriend slid by me in the kitchen and bumped my boobs and I started crying, and the cramps started early and were a little more painful than menstrual cramps, and I had A LOT of discharge (TMI). My boyfriend just thought I was super horny lol. Then I started sleeping a lot, and taking a lot of naps, I was moodier too.
CONGRATS on your pregnancy!!! They do say that cramps are normal during early pregnancy (well really all pregnancy" but I was reading in "What to Expect When you are Expecting" and they said "When Not to Worry : Mild cramps and achiness or pulling sensation on one or both sides of the abdomen. This is probably caused by the stretching of ligaments that support the uterus.
well those can be early signs of pregnancy. I know people thought I was silly when I told them I knew i was pregnant when I started burping more often (I honestly rarely burp) so when it became a 5 times a day thing I knew i was pregnant. I was also dizzy and had aching back (nothing dramatic but could use a massage). and the spotting could be implantation when is she supposed to have her period?

I had cramping... It felt different then menstrual cramps but I thought I was going to start my period early. Also, I was extremly tired and was already sick. I was sick from 3-4 weeks then it wasn't to bad until 6 weeks and now I'm in my 21st week and still sick...Now I also had months were I had so many more pregnancy symptoms but I wasn't pregnant, I think it was just my wishful thinking....Good luck, baby dust and keep us posted!

CAN I BE PREGNANT?? has any1 gone thru this?? is 9 days too early to show pregnancy signs..
after conception can you have any signs of pregnacy or do you just have to wait to miss a peroid ? if there are any, how early are these signs and what types are there ? how early can you do a test ?
bad menstrual cramps and bad lower back cramps. The bleeding started light (again bright red) and it took about a day to get heavier...then I bled for 2 days and got my new AF 2.5 weeks later. I'm not certain you are m/c...but have heard it can happen with light brown spotting...but brownish color means older blood. Your system could be flushing itself....I would try and I do mean TRY to relax and wait for the blood work. I too have a daughter...2 yrs old so I never imagined a m/c...
I had previously posted a question about how early in a pregnancy can you experience a miscarriage. Now I am wondering how early after conception can one start to feel symptoms of pregnancy? As early as within the first week?
the other twin still has a strong heartbeat however i am starting to notice more signs of miscarriage such as slight lower back pain, slight abdominal cramps (light menstrual like cramps). i am wondering if this is still from the miscarriage of the first twin or could i be losing the second baby?
Every woman's body is different so symptoms vary and not all women bleed during implantation. in my case I seem to have every early pregnancy symptom and will test in two days unless I see a normal period flow. If AF comes then I will not test. Also keep in mind for those of you trying to conceive, that if you test too early before your next period is due then you can run the chance of suffering an emotional trauma if your test shows positive and then your period begins shortly after.
The whole month since then I have been experiencing a variety of stomach pains - most of them probably stress-related because I have felt so worried/guilty, but as of 2 days ago I've been having what I thought were on-and-off menstrual cramps - some sharp some dull. I have talked to two doctors about my risk of pregnancy in this situation, a therapist and a gynecologist, and both said I was not at much real risk for pregnancy.
I asked him if it could be early menapause signs I am 41 and this began when I was 39 he did not think so, he said I could go to some specialist if it really bothered me but that it did not concern him. Needless to say I did not go to the specialist and told myself I was making too much of it, even though it does bother me.

I had period like cramps up until 14 weeks, they started very early on and they initially thought my pregnancy was ectopic, thankfully not. It isn't pleasant but my midwife said that as long as I wasn't bleeding it should be fine. She said it could be your bodies way of telling you to take it easy, also to have a look at the dates of when you get them, it sounds strange but apparently some women get cramps around when they should be having thier period.
With my periods come menstrual cramps but not as severe as these. I also don't get backaches, headaches, or breast tenderness like I'm having now. Could this be a possible early miscarriage?
I go back and forth now with diarrhea to loose stools. Well around Monday I was having menstrual like cramps from above my pelvic bone up to a few inches under my belly button. Sitting didn't stop them, walking didn't help, bathing didn't help, and neither did laying down. I could get some ease of the severity of them when laying or bathing but it didn't take them away. Again these weren't constant and had no pattern so I didn't worry about it even though they hurt somewhat.
I had a yeast infection very early in my last pregnancy, so i am wondering if i should use all these signs as an answer. I have taken taken about 8 pregnancy test, 2 light positives and 6 negative. Could somebody give me some advice or maybe tell me what they think about my problem... I am convinced that I am pregnant, but i try to stop thinking about it, but I can't its drivin me up the wall.....!!!!
We haven't been taking any measures to PREVENT pregnancy because I was told though it's recommended that we wait to try, there's no harm in going ahead with it now since the pregnancy was so early and I was able to miscarry naturally. Have you had a menstrual period yet??? Just thought we should keep in touch as we seem to have the same thing happening to us.
