Mentrual like cramps are normal in early pregnancy ,you have them because your uterus is stretching/expanding and making room for the baby.If it is not severe or you experience bleeding then nothing to worry abt it is normal.Have a healthy 9 months.

When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrual cramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrual cramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.

It might be early labor. I have read where premature labor can feel like menstrual cramps. It could also be Braxton hicks but Im not sure. Cramping is completely normal and everyone gets it in early pregnancy. I can't really remember but I think it lasted most of the first trimester and then would come and go after that. As for the taste in your mouth is it kinda coppery like blood? If so that is also very normal. Dizziness could be from high blood pressure or anemia caused by pregnancy.

I cramp slightly ( not as intense as menstrual cramps) on and off. My ob says as long as there is no bleeding or spotting, in early pregnancy cramps are normal due to the uterus increasing size to hold pregnancy.

For a couple weeks before I delivered I had bad menstural like cramps. I'm pretty sure it's practice contractions because early contractions when I was in labor for me felt similar.
