If you are not bleeding but are cramping, it could be cramps from your period followed by cramping with ovulation, or something else like an ovarian cyst, but anything is possible. Why don't you take a pregnancy test? Then you will know.

if it's not in my back and I'm not bleeding it's probably normal. I'm actually cramping right now (17 weeks) I really think it's just stretching. They aren't painful, it hurts just enough to be annoying. but like someone else said, call your doctor tomorrow just to be safe. We are all different!

Has anyone experienced menstrual like cramps early in pregnancy? I am almost 6 weeks and have off and on menstrual like cramps anywhere from my sides to my pelvic area. I had an ovarian cyst rupture recently so I was told the pain in my side came from the fluid left around my ovaries and that it would take care of itself. It has been 11 days since the cyst ruptured but I still occasionally have pain.
Everyone woman knows what a menstrual cramp is. It may come as a surprise to many that menstrual cramps have another name. The medical term for these abdominal and pelvic pains is “dysmenorrhea”. More than 50% of women are affected each month by a certain degree of dysmenorrhea, and 15% of those women are experiencing severe cramping. Isn’t this PMS?
Been feeling abdominal pains, very similar to menstrual cramps for the past 2 weeks. not accompanied by spotting or bleeding but feels a bit moist down there, and it makes me nervous, as I am traumatized by the miscarriage I had on December 5th 2011. Acne visible: Back and face. Black spots are surfacing on my armpits too. Feeling nauseated every now and then but no vomiting - thank God. :) Generally happy and hoping that baby is growing fine and happy!

The best thing I found is a warm shower helped. Rocking side to side. Helped me alot. I thought something was wrong too until I went for my first ultrasound and saw bubbys heartbeat! I still get cramps here and their but they are very common.

I had cramping with both of my pregnancys. If it gets to intense or bleeding is involed than I would give my dr a call. A heating pad (not too hot) and laying down really helped me :) good luck!
Has anyone else had cramps, like menstrual cramps, throughtout the entire first trimester? I never had this when I was pregnant with my first 2 pregnancies, constant cramps, pains, and nausea 24/7. Does it ever stop?

I am 7 weeks today and I hope I am worrying for nothing but I don't go to Dr until monday. I have had cramps for 5 days now on and off all day long. No bleeding and it's in my lower stomach is this normal?
Then it died down to a light brown again, and now it's bleeding heavier again. This has been going on for two weeks. I'm not having any cramps whatsoever - I usually don't get bad cramps anyway, but I haven't felt any pain at all. Is having cramps all the time normal in the 1st trimester? I'm not having any bleeding but my stomach bothers me most of the day.
This happened to me a few times in my first trimester, but it just happened to me again last night and I am 15 weeks. The cramps are similar to those I've felt from menstrual cramps. Lower abdomen, dull and achy. not sure how long they have lasted because it started when I was asleep, but once it wakes me up I'm up for another 10-20 mins because it makes me uncomfortable and difficult to fall back asleep.
I am due on my period and have been getting bad period like cramps but without the bleeding. Is this normal? What pain killers can I take?
I have this problem all the time where I get severe cramps in my lower abdomen like menstrual cramps but its cuz I haven't been able to go for a few days. Try a warm bath and maybe track bm to make sure they r regular. I know it sounds goofy but I ended up in er a few years back cuz it was so bad. Drink lots of water but still go see dr. Cramping is normal during pregnancy tho. Most of it is your body just stretching out from a growing uterus.
It still happens sometimes but not regularly. Try to call your OB for reassurance if you are not sure. Good luck and I hope you start to feel better soon.
im 4 weeks pregnant and im experiencing stomach cramps. is this normal. i have not had any bleeding.
yes i am sexually active but rarely ever and every time im protected.also my breasts are very tender.,and im not suppose to start my period for like another 2 weeks.
As long as your not bleeding and not in severe pain it is fine. It is just your ligaments stretching to allow your uterus to grow.
