For around 6 weeks I have had pounding pain around the kidney area which has subsequently moved and sits around under the back rib case and towards the hip area. I am up from the early hours feeling winded and very much in pain. I had a urine test which was ok. Last week the top of my back muscles locked which have been treated with diazepam which has worked a treat.

and the day after that, i had mild discomfort and pain in my lower back. a nurse has told me that i have kidney stones, but i haven't had xrays or anything. these symptoms in my lower back have lasted for 4 days now. when i wake up in the morning, i don't notice anything at all, but by the end of the day, i'm sore in my lower back especially when seated, it doesn't bother me so much when i'm standing up or laying on my stomach.

I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between lower back pain or a kidney problem?? For the last 2 days, I have had this annoying ache in my back. It's the lower right side and radiates straight up a few inches as well. I usually get sciatic nerve pain pretty bad during pregnancy and have had some this time around and I know what that feels like. But this is different.

s almost like I forgot everything. I am having lower back pain... Almost in my kidney area... Any advice?

has anyone else had a problem with lower back pain? I have alful pain so much so I can't barley walk sometimes. My doctor says it most likely isn't my Adreanls because its so low but I wonder. woke up with pain in lower back on my right side.about the 3 inches of my lower spine is hurting. when i am active it seems to hurt less sometimes. when i am setting down the pain seems to hurt worse in my right hip.went and had exrays and they said it looks ok. disk are alinged ok. everything looked good.when i set down my upper back leg mussel ackes.i can walk ok. lieing down it hurts. i am takeing tramadol for pain it helpsalot.

Hi there, i am 36 years young and have had lower back pain for about a year, my doc said it might just go away but im not to sure. I have urine leaks and in constant pain. I have a lot of help with this and just cant find a pain killer that is efective and dose not make me a zombie. Can any one give me advice??

I have pain in my right side and back just about half way between my shoulder blade and lower back. Some stomach pain. The stomach pain started about a week ago. Pain in this area has been going on about 2 months. Just trying to figure out what this could be?

Have they done a screen for a Kidney infection. With Kidney infections you get extreme pain in the lower back. You can also experience nausea, fatigue, chills, and a fever. I would call your Dr. back and tell them you want to know what is going on as this is definitely not normal. This may have nothing to do with your meds, or disorder.

have a pain in the lower middle left side of my back. i=It comes back now and again however something triggers the pain off. It feels as though a joint has been jolted which is resticting my movement .

Hello kidneychick, Are you saying that because of your two experiences with kidney stones in the past that you are sure your lower right back pain now is a kidney stone or has a physician taken an X Ray or Cat Scan and seen a kidney stone? I'm just curious on how you can determine it's definitely a kidney stone causing your pain.

Like a quick sharp pain, then gone. Mostly in the lower right area. This morning went I woke up there seems to be a little pain in lower right back too. Just had dr appt last Thursday, heard heartbeat and everything was fine. Does this sound like normal pain for the normal stretching of everything adjusting for baby?
