Avatar f tn The finances can be complex related to divorce and each situation is different. Each state has different laws too. Do you know the laws of your state? Is the house in both your names? I understand the fear you have of losing money on the house and having to find another home for yourself. It stinks. Getting a spouse out is a bit hard. Divorce should do it but you need someone to advise you. Document everything related to his drug use. Take pictures. Record things.

Avatar f tn They were good with me in high school - because I moved in with them for a while until my husband and I got married. But now she is treating me like I don't know how to take care of my children. I DO! She didn't like it when her MIL did that but I k now her and she is a kind woman. My MIL still says negative things about her - why? I don't know. But I do know that she likes me and so does the other part of the family.

Avatar m tn Joe, for what its worth....if my kid was recovering from suregery and my mother was willing to baby sit, I'd really prefer she do it at my house. It is the surroundings that your child is most familiar and comfortable with. I'd break that news to my mother.... 'Look Mom, we appreciate you looking after jr., but can you come over here to watch him? He is recovering from surgery and we just want him to be as comfortable as possible. Avatar n tn I am 9 weeks today, my little nugget and I are doing wonderfully. But i am in the process of getting a restraining order on the father. I've been beaten and strangled before. I was wondering if anyone knew any of the laws about making sure he can't be around my child. I'm scared for both of our lives.
Avatar f tn For me it was opposite. My in laws threw me a baby shower since I'm out of my home state (hawaii) and have no friends here in Louisiana. They invited all the women in the family (my husband has a very large Irish family) but only a couple of them RSVP'd and a couple of my husband's friends girlfriends. So my in laws didn't have that much food cause thy weren't expecting very many people. Well every person we sent invitations to (35 people) minus 2 people showed up!
Avatar f tn There is no easy solution for this problem. Sometimes a spouse will stay married but live separately to keep your insurance. Some employee based insurance require you live together. Unless you have a job it will be pricey. I wish things were easier. The best thing is not to get to scared and freaked out. You will only make yourself more stressed. Try to investigate all options. I know it is hard.

10707428 tn?1415569790 My husband kicked me out yesterday. He said he wants a divorce because he doesnt love me anymore. This is all so sudden, and a shock to me, because i thought we had a great marriage. My question is, i want to move outside the country, im 7 months. My question is can i fly on plane across the ocean when im 7 months? Can he sue me for kidnapping his child even though he's not born yet?
Avatar f tn I have been wanting to leave my husband for several months now. And he is on to me that I'm seeing someone. Which I have been. But every time I tell him I don't want to be with him anymore, he forces our love for me to love him and I don't. I love him in a caring way but not an intimate way. Hes a type of person who gets hurt very easily, and I want to know how bad of an idea would it be if I told him I had been seeing someone for 7 months?....
5792451 tn?1390934690 There are indeed still docs out there who believe that Lyme is a self-limiting infection or alternatively an infection that the immune system can eradicate. They are entitled to their own opinions, but I'm waiting for them to volunteer to be infected with Lyme and see how they do with no treatment. The real problem, from what I read, is the state medical board in Texas, which will go after docs who treat ILADS-style.
Avatar n tn In the divorce paperwork they will set visitation. Idk what the laws are where you are but here in KY you can not file for divorce until the child is born. You can file for legal separation but that is it. I would go ahead and call a lawyers and see what the rules are in your area. You may be able to file but not go to court until after baby is here. In divorce papers they will set up child support, visitation, medical support for baby etc.
Avatar f tn I know i'm going to get a lot of why do you want to do this etc. etc. etc. So i'll make it quick. I'm 44, my wife is 36. She had a total hysterectomy and has absolutely no sex drive. She didn't have any before either. She's not willing to try to do anything about it. She's selfish, but, I love her so i'm the stupid one. That being said, no sex is frustrating. Morally I will not cheat on her. I can't do it. Psychologically I'm starting to hate her for it.
649848 tn?1534633700 The truth of the matter is that there are laws about public nudity, but in recent decades more states are allowing women to go topless and people don’t even realize it. A movement progressing topless laws is active and demanding for equal shirtless rights as men. Of course, there are always going to be disagreements, whether they have moral, religious, or sexual grounds. But the world is progressing and moving towards equality despite any oppression and wrenches being thrown into the machine.
Avatar f tn It would affect custody rights but seeing your children are raised that is not an issue. This is how it is in Canada, and our divorce laws are similar I think. I bought a book on law and divorce when I went through mine. It was enlightening to say the least. We were **** poor broke so there wasn't a lot of marital assets. I did threaten him with all I would do to him if he didn't pay for the lawyer for the divorce though. So at least I got $1000 out of the dead beat.
