Lisinopril zoloft

Common Questions and Answers about Lisinopril zoloft

monopril

I am currently on 10 mg of lisinopril daily and just started taking 25 mg of zoloft as have been having spikes in my bp and having been waking up at night with a racing heart. They put me on metotoporol 25 mg once a day in conjunction with lisinopril. My question is ...is this common? Will this cause my bp to lower too much? Also at times of extreme need I take a xanax of around .5 or .25....will this be troublesome at all? Lastly I guess there is no chance of a adult beverage?
I am severely depressed, my doctor recommended Effexor but my friends said I should try Zoloft. I have gained a lot of weight since my last baby 4 years ago and keep gaining. I am not taking anything but so sad and depressed and keep getting fatter, I cry all the time, I go to bed at 7 and just watch TV, I am tired a lot, my body hurts all the time. But I need to be on something, I just cant get out of this sadness. I was on paxil years ago and gained 25 pounds within months.
Yes some could depending on the dosage and your reaction to them.

The reason we are both worried is he just keeps falling asleep in the middle of the day and we are not sure what is causing it because he sleeps at least 9 hours every night. the list of medicines are Lisinopril, Elavil, Plavix, Aspirin, Zoloft, Zocor, Coreg, Flextra, Celebrex, Ala-Hist D, Carbatrol. He was also on Aldactone but was taken off of it 3 weeks ago. I am not sure if it is one medicine or a combination.
32, just started Zoloft 2 days ago for anxiety, on 10mg lisinopril, have acid reflux/gerd am on prilosec for. Just had my blood work done, LDL 131 HDL 42 TRI 328. everything else normal. had a ekg done at docs on Tuesday and was normal and have a appointment with a cardio tmrw morning. My concern is this: lately around 3am i wake up with a racing heart rate 120+ and feel like i'm having a heart attack....takes awhile for me to calm down and subside.
I thought that is was due to the medications that he was taking so I called his PCP and ask him he said that he was not sure but the next time he is in the office he will look at it and see. But my question is he takes plavix, aspirin, lisinopril, Zocor, Zoloft, Coreg, lithium, and methadone. I took him off the lithium thinking that was the cause because after doing research sleeping all the time was something major with that drug.
I would probably also start a generic ace inhibitor like lisinopril to control your blood pressure. If it did not improve with a single blood pressure agent, a beta blockers would help slow down your heart rate and decrease your blood pressure. Exercise will probably help decrease your heart rate also. I agree that hyperthyroidism should be ruled out. as a diabetic, your goal blood pressure should be less than 130/80.
Since having my son i have diagnosed with high blood pressure and am currently on hydorchorodiathide 25 mg and lisinopril 20 mg i also take 60 mg fo cymbalta for anxiety/depression. At todays doctor they did an EKG and it came out okay and doc said he thinks it may be mitral valve proplapse and I did a chest xray, blood work and am having the stress test done next week. I am very concerned about this.
Hello. I am taking acebutolol 200 mg td and 20mg lisinopril. At rest, the acebutolol does not keep my rate down - only 72-80 rest. Further, when i try to exercise (pulse to 140 bpm) I get multiple pvcs. BP is controlled. Recently, I was put on Paxil 10 mg for anxiety - now my pulse runs constant 110 at night and 84 during the day with intermittent PVCs, should I discontinue Paxil - is there a negative link to beta blocker therapy?
During those two weeks I get anxious and usually end up taking Xanax to relax. I also take 50mg of Zoloft on a daily basis. I had an appointment with my primary doctor yesterday. We talked about discontinuing the Zoloft because I only get anxious occassionaly during those two pvc laden weeks before my period and the Xanax takes care of that. My doctor would like me to stop the Xanax also. She thinks my pvc's might be brought on by water weight gain before my period.
Told could be BP or size (6'5,275#)and of no concern.Told cause was anxiety.Started 50mg Toprol-XL palps/BP,Zoloft for Anxiety.Sympts cont'd.On BP check told the rn once and a while checking my pulse had a subtle change.30 day event monitor ordered.Started 2/3.On 2/5 was awakened w/the feeling of a rabbit jumping out of my chest. different than anything I had ever had.No chest pain, sob, etc. Recorded and trans and w/in 5 mins cardio called,I was in a-fib. Lasted 30-40 mins and corrected.
I have used everything from Lotensin, Plavix, Zestril (same as Lisinopril), Accupril. There's a new one out that I got some free samples you could ask Doc for. It's called " Zestoretic ". It has Zestril & Hydrochlorothiazide both in one pill. I suffer from water retention & also gain weight easy. (Pericarditis). I think it works best for me but still suffer from the "ED's" on occasion. I'm also over 40.
Zoloft (25), Cardizem LA (180), Lisinopril (0,10,20- This is where we adjust most), & HCTZ (25). When all this began a couple years ago, I had all the test to rule out secondary hypertension. The problem is I seem to be having trouble getting the BP regulated. I know fluctuations are normal, but frustratingly, mine will go to high, we adjust, then too low, adjust, and so on. Cardio and GP have been wonderful to work with.
He could not see swelling, but gave me drops but thinks I should see an ophthalmic neurologist which I did see 5 years ago and they just found mini strokes I have narcolepsy diagnosed 2/08 and temporal lobe epilepsy 1/09 and I am on Keppra 1000 mgs, lisinopril 20, mgs, Provigil 200 mgs zoloft 50-150, ritalin 10 motrin 800 as needed. they I had an eeg done and cat scan recently no brain mri's since 04.
I'm currently seeing a cardiologst to get a heart work up since I told dr about racing heart and am on 10mg lisinopril and now 25 mg toprol xl as well along w/ just staring 25 mg of Zoloft in case it's just anxiety. My question is this....I will schedule to go back to the dr in the next couple weeks and ask about sleep apnea but I have a constant worry of instant death from sleep apnea now (I know is irrational).
HCTZ 25, Lisinopril 20, Cardizem LA 180, Zoloft 25, Prevacid 30. Since a-fibs, BP has been sort of difficult to control (Consistency). Lisinopril increased from 10 to 20 mg 3 weeks ago as diastolic was staying around 90. I have more trouble personally with lowering diastolic than systolic measurement. Over the last couple weeks I have been fatigued a good bit. No major rhythm issues to note other than occasional PAC's however: Upon waking I feel drugged.
Short history, I am a 31 yr old female I am on a low dose blood pressure medication but otherwise healthy. I do fine some days but on others I just don't feel right it's kinda hard to explain. I check my bp an it's great but I jus feel weird(uneasy, cold an jus nervous feeling) could it just be my anxiety. I see a therapist but I'm afraid to try any medications.
i am currently taking lortab for the pain and xanax to help sleep during all the horrible joint pain, as well as an otc laxative, lithium and zoloft!!! my main concern is the lortab? also i hear alot of yall saying that yall do not take tylenol should i not take that either!
I was put on Carvedilol, Lisinopril, and Spironolactone while I was in the hospital. My O2, my pulse rate, my blood pressure all improved immediately. I've had a few problems since being diagnosed in February, and I would say that it's mostly my body getting adjusted to the medicine that I've been on. My doctor changes my medicine dosages every 2 or 3 weeks.
Trileptal (oxcarbazepine) 150 mg bid Depakote (valproic acid) 500 mg Cyclobenzaprine HCL (flexiril) 10 mg bid Lisinopril/HCTZ 10-12.5 mg sid Amitriptyline (elavil) HCL 25 mg sid Ibuprofen 600 mg BID I welcome any insight or comments from others. I am thinking of going outside of my HMO to get another opinion. Sorry my post is so long and involved, but thought giving a full history best. Thanks.
Zoloft 200 mg/day (depression), Lisinopril 20 mg/day (hypertension), Singulair 20 Mg/day (extrinsic asthma), Clonazepam 0.5 mg BID (anxiety), Valtrex 1 gm PRN (oral herpes), Ambien 10 mg HS (insomnia), Tylenol #4 PRN for headache pain (taken infrequently). During my flu and herpes outbreak, I took 400 mg Ibuprofen QID for achiness and fever, which I have now been able to discontinue. I also take Claritin-D as needed for seasonal rhinitis.
I was prescribed Lorazepam (along with 50 mg of Zoloft) about 5 years ago while going through a divorce. I have been on the Lorazepam ever since with my anxiety and panic slowly increasing with periods of "remission" or feeling better. I have been on doses of Lorazepam from .5 once a day to 3 mg a day. I recently got remarried and my husband and I would like to have a baby, but I know I need to get off of the Lorazepam before we do so.
I am on low dose lisinopril for blood pressure an metformin for pre diabetic. I also have anxiety but not currently taking meds. I'M PETRIFIED THAT THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY HEART (HEALTH). HOW DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANXIETY OR HEART PROBLEMS????? I did go to a cardiologist in 2006 and he said everything was fine. My blood pressure will sometimes be elevated and my pulse sometimes gets up to 110.
He tried me on almost ALL medications for them as well. I've taken Wellbutrin, Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro, and numerous others. Dr even told me he's tried me on everything that he can for them but nothing helps. I've went to 3 cardiologist and all of them can't give me a straight answer on what is wrong with my heart. I have been reading about panic disorders a lot, and im not so certain i have them. So here are my symptoms: really bad pain back of my head, but with this pain i can't see.
I take the following; plavix 75mg, lipitor 80mg, tricor 145mg, toperol 100mg x2, lisinopril 5 mg, norvasc ?mg, asprin 325mg, zoloft 50mg, fish oil 3g, xanax 1mg 3x day. My weight is 185, of stocky build. I have been to 4 different cardiologist for second opinions and have settled on my current one as the most caring, concerned and knowlegable. He is also a cardiac surgeon and has been for many years.
I take Verapamil, Coreg, Klonopin(for restless leg and it seems to boost my pain medicine effects) Effexor and Zoloft, Lisinopril and Prilosec. Along with that, of course, the percocet and the xanaflex that I am currently experimenting with. I have Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver disease, had gall bladder removed, and an AV Ablation done for uncontrollable Tachycardia a few years back, at Emory in Atlanta. I hope this back ground helps you, and hope you can give me your opinion.
