lisinopril zoloft

I am currently on 10 mg of lisinopril daily and just started taking 25 mg of zoloft as have been having spikes in my bp and having been waking up at night with a racing heart. They put me on metotoporol 25 mg once a day in conjunction with lisinopril. My question is ...is this common? Will this cause my bp to lower too much? Also at times of extreme need I take a xanax of around .5 or .25....will this be troublesome at all? Lastly I guess there is no chance of a adult beverage?

I am severely depressed, my doctor recommended Effexor but my friends said I should try Zoloft. I have gained a lot of weight since my last baby 4 years ago and keep gaining. I am not taking anything but so sad and depressed and keep getting fatter, I cry all the time, I go to bed at 7 and just watch TV, I am tired a lot, my body hurts all the time. But I need to be on something, I just cant get out of this sadness. I was on paxil years ago and gained 25 pounds within months.

The reason we are both worried is he just keeps falling asleep in the middle of the day and we are not sure what is causing it because he sleeps at least 9 hours every night. the list of medicines are Lisinopril, Elavil, Plavix, Aspirin, Zoloft, Zocor, Coreg, Flextra, Celebrex, Ala-Hist D, Carbatrol. He was also on Aldactone but was taken off of it 3 weeks ago. I am not sure if it is one medicine or a combination.

32, just started Zoloft 2 days ago for anxiety, on 10mg lisinopril, have acid reflux/gerd am on prilosec for. I thought that is was due to the medications that he was taking so I called his PCP and ask him he said that he was not sure but the next time he is in the office he will look at it and see. But my question is he takes plavix, aspirin, lisinopril, Zocor, Zoloft, Coreg, lithium, and methadone. I would probably also start a generic ace inhibitor like lisinopril to control your blood pressure. If it did not improve with a single blood pressure agent, a beta blockers would help slow down your heart rate and decrease your blood pressure. Exercise will probably help decrease your heart rate also. I agree that hyperthyroidism should be ruled out. as a diabetic, your goal blood pressure should be less than 130/80.

Since having my son i have diagnosed with high blood pressure and am currently on hydorchorodiathide 25 mg and lisinopril 20 mg i also take 60 mg fo cymbalta for anxiety/depression. At todays doctor they did an EKG and it came out okay and doc said he thinks it may be mitral valve proplapse and I did a chest xray, blood work and am having the stress test done next week. Hello. I am taking acebutolol 200 mg td and 20mg lisinopril. At rest, the acebutolol does not keep my rate down - only 72-80 rest. Further, when i try to exercise (pulse to 140 bpm) I get multiple pvcs. BP is controlled. Recently, I was put on Paxil 10 mg for anxiety - now my pulse runs constant 110 at night and 84 during the day with intermittent PVCs, should I discontinue Paxil - is there a negative link to beta blocker therapy?

During those two weeks I get anxious and usually end up taking Xanax to relax. I also take 50mg of Zoloft on a daily basis. I had an appointment with my primary doctor yesterday. We talked about discontinuing the Zoloft because I only get anxious occassionaly during those two pvc laden weeks before my period and the Xanax takes care of that. My doctor would like me to stop the Xanax also. She thinks my pvc's might be brought on by water weight gain before my period.

Short history, I am a 31 yr old female I am on a low dose blood pressure medication but otherwise healthy. I do fine some days but on others I just don't feel right it's kinda hard to explain. Zoloft (25), Cardizem LA (180), Lisinopril (0,10,20- This is where we adjust most), & HCTZ (25). When all this began a couple years ago, I had all the test to rule out secondary hypertension. I'm currently seeing a cardiologst to get a heart work up since I told dr about racing heart and am on 10mg lisinopril and now 25 mg toprol xl as well along w/ just staring 25 mg of Zoloft in case it's just anxiety. My question is this....I will schedule to go back to the dr in the next couple weeks and ask about sleep apnea but I have a constant worry of instant death from sleep apnea now (I know is irrational).

HCTZ 25, Lisinopril 20, Cardizem LA 180, Zoloft 25, Prevacid 30. Since a-fibs, BP has been sort of difficult to control (Consistency). Lisinopril increased from 10 to 20 mg 3 weeks ago as diastolic was staying around 90. I have more trouble personally with lowering diastolic than systolic measurement. I was put on Carvedilol, Lisinopril, and Spironolactone while I was in the hospital. My O2, my pulse rate, my blood pressure all improved immediately. Zoloft 200 mg/day (depression), Lisinopril 20 mg/day (hypertension), Singulair 20 Mg/day (extrinsic asthma), Clonazepam 0.5 mg BID (anxiety), Valtrex 1 gm PRN (oral herpes), Ambien 10 mg HS (insomnia), Tylenol #4 PRN for headache pain (taken infrequently). During my flu and herpes outbreak, I took 400 mg Ibuprofen QID for achiness and fever, which I have now been able to discontinue. I also take Claritin-D as needed for seasonal rhinitis.
