Avatar f tn Another possibility is that while on the bike I hopped over a path while cycling at speed and the saddle came in a fast jab contact with the area which was a shot of pain at the time ! Funny thing is I’ve also noticed a small lump that’s a small bit tender in the pelvic area , also noticed this while showering,maybe they’re both related !? The larger lump is not that sore while sitting etc but is tender to push/feel .

The idea of dashboard knees actually makes a whole lot of sense, after some thought I realized that during cycling I've nailed my bad knee on the cup holder a few times and the pain started after that. The pain had been getting worse almost daily so I think I'm going to set an appointment with an orthopedist. Thanks for the help!

My knee and thigh are noticeably larger than the other other one. I am in so much pain.

Just a guess, but it's also been said that TOO much cycling can damage the prostate & also the nerves in that area & that could trigger ED issues long-term, not right way, though.

Avatar m tn Hey, about 3months ago I fell off my bicycle hitting the saddle hard and have been struggling to get or maintain a full erection since then. I am managing to get a partial erection but not enough to have sex. I was told that it would just heal in time by my GP but he said 2-6weeks and it has now been over 12weeks and I'm starting to get worried! I sit just a case of waiting still or should I be looking to see a specialist?

Avatar m tn Hello! It's been four months now that my right knee is slightly swollen. The swelling is visible on the knee itself and the bottom part of my quadricep. It is not much but it's visible especially when compared with my other knee. I don't feel pain, only minor discomfort which gets a bit worse and spreads to a larger area (the discomfort, not the swelling) when I stand up or sit down for too long.

That happens sometimes and usually goes away the next day but this time it didn't and has been going on for over a week now. The pain is dull and not very strong. I noticed it happens when I shift more weight to the right leg- mostly when walking up and down stairs or when squatting and then standing up. It does not hurt when: I stand (even for a long time) or walk.

Then all was fine for about a year then i started training hard in 2014, when i got boils or hair fonicle infection on my upper leg and but part about 5 times throughout the year and i needed a antibiotic for all of these.

Avatar n tn Exercise will also help, but it has to be non-impact, like bicycling or stationary cycling. Simply sitting in a chair and lifting the foot until the knee is straight, maybe with a couple pounds of weight on the ankle, can help keep the surrounding muscles and ligaments strong enough to provide support. I was told that my cartilage has worn and I now have arthritis as a result. I am in pain daily with it. Most of all I am so worried about my life, as I am a teacher. I have had CT scan of back, MRI of back, xrays of hip, knee, foot, ultrasound of groin.. all came back normal. This started when I was masturbating and felt a dull pain in my right groin.
