Hello, These bumps can be due to insect or mosquito bites, allergies or viral rash. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also make her wear cotton clothes and consult a dermatologist or her pediatrician as she may need oral antihistaminics and topical steroids.
My son started with the same rash. They look like mosquito bites, they're very itchy. After a few days they get smaller and get a pin sized scab in the middle. I have it now and I think my younger son has it too. Please help.
You can take some antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin. Although the rash may be itchy, avoid scratching it because you may damage the skin, and allow bacteria to get in, leading to infection. You may also need topical and oral steroids which are available under prescription. Also wear cotton clothes. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
I don't usually ever scratch mosquito bites, and for me they usually go away within the following 3-4 hours like they were never there. These bites that I have now, unless they're from another type of mosquito, aren't mosquito bites. There's no way. Nothing I have done has gotten rid of them yet, and they're driving me crazy. They don't look like hives, and there's no evidence of any bugs at all in my room, except a dead moth on the window sill.
I have been suffering from bad rash that look like a huge group of mosquito bites..i have search all over the net but i cant seem to get any answer..this rash has been there for almost one month..it comes and go at times but usually stays for a long time..and it gets really itchy..whenever i scratch it,it seems to spread..but it is definitely nt contagious as none of my friends actually gotten it from me here are the common regions which i find it: 1.back of knees 2.thighs 3.elbows 4.
I swear that I was bit multiple times with mosquito-like bites last year. I never saw what it was, but then someone said it could be no-seeums. The weather changed (thank God) and I quit getting the bites. But this year, I started getting them again. I made my hubby NOT open the windows in the morning and put the house plants outside (in case the no-seeums were living in the dirt). I haven't been bitten any more, but now I have a horrible bumpy itchy rash over mostly my trunk.
Mosquitos have always been biting since I was a young girl.. When I turned seventeen and I would get "eaten" by mosquitos all of the bites were normal reactions--just little red itchy bumps--except one which always turned into a large welt about 3-4 inches in diameter, extremely itchy and painful, and very hot to the touch. Since then (I'm now 23) this has been the trend... EVERY TIME I get bit, one mosquito bite--it can be anywhere on my body (arms, legs, etc.
About a year ago (I know I've left it too long) I got bitten by mosquitoes and ended up with over 100 mosquito bites. Since then I have had a rash on my legs, sometimes it seems to get better but then it comes back, it gets worse when I'm stressed out. I copped a few more bites last night and now it looks like it might be starting on my legs. I thought it might have just been exma to begin with but I don't know anymore, it kind of looks like folliculitis.
I have taken Fertilaid multivitamins for 30 days and just before stopping I developed very itchy red bumps like mosquito bites. They seem to be symmetrical on my chest, both underarms, upper and lower abdomen. They itch so much, paritcularly in evenings. I'm applying Sarna lotion but it doesn't take long before the itching comes back...It's been like 4-5 days since I have this awful itchy rash... Anything I could do before seeing a dermatologist...
The welts look like small and very large mosquito bites. Some are very smallred spots and some are the size of a nickel and raised. This morning my feet and my hands itchand I have not done anything physical. I have changed all soaps, shampoos and laundry detergents to be sure I am only using old faithful brands. We have washed all clothing and bedding. I have watched my diet to be sure I am not eating anything unusual or different.
I also have a recurring, itchy mosquito-like bump on my arm. It only lasts for about an hour or so then disappears. I have no idea what the cause could be, but it is rather disturbing.
I have had for about a month, red itchy spots that just seem to appear in different locations for various durations. Some look exactly like mosquito bites, other like flea bites-but they are not. The spots are not closely clustered together. I could have one alone, or five within a two inch diameter. They itch unbelievable, and scratching only gives relief while I’m scratching, soon as I stop, the itching intensifies.
These red itchy bumps are now spreading one at a time along my legs arms, one on my neck and ear, now resembling small mosquito bites. I was recently away on business and I thought at first that the rash may have been caused by something from the hotel bed, but after I came home these bumps continued to spread. Any thoughts on what this could be?
A FEW DAYS AGO I WAS WATCHING TV WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CALFS STATING ITCHING I SCRATCHED THEM THEN THESE HARD BUMPS FORMED THAT LOOK LIKE MOSQUITO BITES. THEY ITCH REALLY BAD SO I PUT ITCHING LOTION ON THEM AND THE NEXT DAY THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON MY ANKLES SO I PUT CREAM ON THEM TOO. ALL OF THE BUMPS ARE STILL ITCHY THOUGH I ENDED UP SCRATCHING THEM IN THE NIGHT THAT I MADE THEM SCAB.
Recently, I started having these mosquito bites on my body, especially on my stomach and chest. They would appear, disappear after I put cream on it, but reappear the next day. First I thought it was mosquito, but I couldn't find any.I ruled out of fleas and bed bugs after cleaning the bedroom and washrooms many times.
However if they persists you may need to see a specialist called an allergist to determine what is causing the reaction. Itchy localized rash can be due to allergic dermatitis, eczema, contact dermatitis, shingles, psoriasis, fungal infection like or Tinea corporis. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please consult a skin specialist. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Again, while clothed (different clothes) and under covers. Again, itchy like you'd expect a set of mosquito bites to be, but they stung/pricked if I touched them. Now, if this had happened at home again, I would have probably had the exterminators come in and see if we could clear out any bugs in the house. But the idea that the same kind of spider got stuck in my bed the same way, 450 miles away, 3 months later, doesn't really make sense.
they just started after the fourth of july and at first there wont be any bumps but after i start to itch them i get little raised bumps everywhere (they look like mosquito bites) and they itch like crazy. its like if i itch one spot the whole rest of me itches! Help me!
Now besides waking up to a rash, periodically throughout the day, I will get these what appears to be bites (mosquito, flea, mites?,whatever) on my arm or shoulders or upper back. And they itch...The top of the what appear to be bites are white, similar to a mosquito bite. But there are no mosquitos in the house! They just appear randomly. No one else in the house is affected by this. I could be allergic to the cat maybe. Or a spider lurking around in the house.
I had the flu 2weeks ago gone except soar throat not bad just feels like always got flem stuck in there yesterday got rash spreading all over body very itchy constantly looks like mosquito bites all over what's happening to me help!!!!!!!!
Some on my hands seem to have dots in the middle that make them look like mosquito bites. Doesnt seem to be hives because they are small blisters not larger than pencil eraser size. Could it still be an allergic reaction to something?
Then as the night progressed, parts of my skin had raised white bumps which looks like mosquito bites. The itching progressed but i decided to put an ice pack and some hydrocortizon lotion to help sooth the pain. I woke up 4 am in the morning and the itch spread to my stomach and back and the white/red raised bumps were in patches all over my stomach and back. I am not medically allergic to anything food related which is why i am freaking out! Please help!
Do you think it could be som type of bug from unsanitary conditions?she feels itchy too, I do as well but no bites. I see no flees.
During the winter most people spend more time in the home than they do outside so it could be an allergy to something inside your home it could be a mold allergy. Also flea bites blister if have a mark like a mosquito bite with a small blister in the center it’s a flea bite. So it could be is bed bugs but they would bite the entire family or it could be is a heat rash they blister as well or it could be hives or a heat rash. Only your Dr. can tell you for sure.
Especially at night of during the day (it's summer time and the humidity is at the highest). I think mine started with several mosquito bites on the stomach area. Then turned in to a rash all over my stomach, chest and right then left arm before I could get the steriod regeim started. I've been reading all the notations on this website regarding rashes. Just wandering if mosquitos need to be tested for something else besides WestNile?
