I am 28 years old and I have started walking to lose some weight but every time that I go walking for more than 15 minutes or jogging for more than 5 I get this feeling in my legs that feels like I have a thousand bugs crawling up and down my legs. They start feeling really itchy. It is fairly uncomfortable and I was just wondering if you knew what this was or if there is something that I can do to stop this feeling. Should I see my doctor? Thank you.

I also have circulatory problems in my legs and feet. My legs feel itchy all day at night i cant sleep with restless leg syndrom. it drives me crazy. my feet are alweays itchy and cold. what do i do.

i recently in the past couple of weeks, my legs is really itchy and i dont know whats the reason, its itchy and when i looked at it appear to be like a mosquitoes bite, it keeps appearing all oer my legs even thou i don scratch it it looks like a mosquitoes bite all over my legs, but its not mosquitoes bite.

For the last 4 - 5 days my legs have been extremely itchy. There is no rash (aside from the bumps that have appeared from my extensive scratching). What could this be? I am not itchy anywhere else BUT my legs.

Prior to getting my diabetes levels back under control, when my sugars were high, my body would get super hot, I'll feel like I'm burning up, toss the blanket to the floor, and start scratching my legs/arms, during sleep. My legs have been itchy every day since i was born. im 21 and i have always had itchy legs. when i was younger my family would all scream at me as once i started i couldnt seem to stop. the itching gets so bad that it annoys you and fustrates you and it becomes painfull. My dad used to smack my legs where it was itching and it used to help but it didnt last too long only for about 5-10 mins and i would be scratching again.

All my life I can recall going to bed, and often having extremely itchy legs; especially around the sides of my knees. When I was younger I would wake up in the middle of the night with such a strong urge to itch that I would sometime use a blade from a pair of scissors to relieve the itching, which often made my legs bleed. Even now, sometimes during the day if I'm out my legs can get so itchy I have to find a bathroom to itch my legs as the feeling is so insatiable.

Please help me! I'm a 19 year old female living in the southeaster coastline. My skin itches so terribly on my legs and arms I cannot sleep. There's no rash at all and my skin appears to be normal other than the horrifying itch. It seems to happen worse at night and when I'm in and out of water (showers, ocean, pool, ect..) I've tried switching all my beauty products and laundry detergent, I apply lotion and itch cremes, and oatmeal baths but nothing works!

Is there any help out there for itchy legs? I have been reading about other people suffering with symptoms like mine. It doesn't sound very encouraging. I have been suffering for several years now. I've tried different lotions but nothing seems to help. Mine seems to be worse during the winter when I have to wear long pants. There is no rash to be seen but I have to scratch sometimes making my legs bleed. It keeps me awake at night.

Im 10 wks and me legs have been so itchy! Ik its not dry skin bc i put lotion on every night. Anyone else?

hey... umm.. i'm 18 now and have been getting severely itchy legs for about 3-4 years... when I went to the doctor they told me it was hormonal and it would be gone within a few months... they also said to use lots of moisturiser on my legs.... I'm always self conscious about my legs... since the itching started because of the marks the scratches leave... I had my mum stressing about me thinking that I was cutting myself on my legs...

s disease but it is in remission. I have had really itchy legs for about 2 years. Not sure if this is started when I was pregnant 2 yrs ago or if just is happening as I get older. My legs itch all the time and are worse after I shave. I have tried vrious creams, natural shave creams, not shaving and nothing helps. Heavy creams just make my legs break out. I believe it is something internal, possibly related to crohn's (an immune system response) or a deficiency in vitamins or minerals.

For about a month or so I would get VERY itchy legs, especially my lower legs, after showers. Worse yet I would wake up in the middle of the night scratching like mad! I found this site and tried Hydrocortizone cream as suggested in a comment here. It worked at first, but still I woke up itching like crazy. I tried different itch relief lotions that contain oatmeal but they were of no avail.
