My legs have been itchy every day since i was born. im 21 and i have always had itchy legs. when i was younger my family would all scream at me as once i started i couldnt seem to stop. the itching gets so bad that it annoys you and fustrates you and it becomes painfull. My dad used to smack my legs where it was itching and it used to help but it didnt last too long only for about 5-10 mins and i would be scratching again.

I have very itchy blisters on my hand. My children (2 and 5) also suffer from itchy rash which sometimes appears on their backs, legs, faces, hands, etc. A Dermatologist diagnosed the rash as fungus and prescribed a cream. However, the itchy keeps appearing at different parts of their body. This morning I noticed clear painless and non-itchy blisters on the shaft of my penis. I have been diagnosed with HSV-2 and I know the tingling sensation during a breakout.

I know the feeling. It's very irritating. Something similar happened to me. I had an outbreak of an very itchy rash on my forearms,wrists, stomach, and legs, and some places on my back. I don't know where it came from. I thought it could have been from New detergents or coming into contact with poison oak, but that wasn't the case. No matter what remedy I tried, it did not worth.

Is there any help out there for itchy legs? I have been reading about other people suffering with symptoms like mine. It doesn't sound very encouraging. I have been suffering for several years now. I've tried different lotions but nothing seems to help. Mine seems to be worse during the winter when I have to wear long pants. There is no rash to be seen but I have to scratch sometimes making my legs bleed. It keeps me awake at night.

Im 10 wks and me legs have been so itchy! Ik its not dry skin bc i put lotion on every night. Anyone else?

hey... umm.. i'm 18 now and have been getting severely itchy legs for about 3-4 years... when I went to the doctor they told me it was hormonal and it would be gone within a few months... they also said to use lots of moisturiser on my legs.... I'm always self conscious about my legs... since the itching started because of the marks the scratches leave... I had my mum stressing about me thinking that I was cutting myself on my legs...

s disease but it is in remission. I have had really itchy legs for about 2 years. Not sure if this is started when I was pregnant 2 yrs ago or if just is happening as I get older. My legs itch all the time and are worse after I shave. I have tried vrious creams, natural shave creams, not shaving and nothing helps. Heavy creams just make my legs break out. I believe it is something internal, possibly related to crohn's (an immune system response) or a deficiency in vitamins or minerals.

For about a month or so I would get VERY itchy legs, especially my lower legs, after showers. Worse yet I would wake up in the middle of the night scratching like mad! I found this site and tried Hydrocortizone cream as suggested in a comment here. It worked at first, but still I woke up itching like crazy. I tried different itch relief lotions that contain oatmeal but they were of no avail.

I have had itchy legs for YEARS, not all over, just my legs. I've tried changing soaps, detergent, lotion, everything. I have been to several doctors and no one knows what it is. I have heard that it could be a gluten allergy? so i have to try that. The itching is the most annoying thing ever...i often cause myself to bleed because of it. I read a comment for curing bilateral itchy legs a while back and it has totally worked for me and I want to share it! My legs started itching bilaterally all of a sudden and would really itch more after a shower and at night time when I was in bed. It was driving me crazy! I searched the net and someone said it might be due to something in bread so I stopped eating bread, then I stopped cakes and even schnitzel and crumbed fish, this did help but I still had it sometimes.

okay. i need help my legs are super itchy i am 15, a female who lives in south florida.. i have itchy legs and have had it for a year already. it is after i shave. i cant use shaving cream cause i know im allergic to it. i want to wax but am afraid it maybe worse. my mom doesnt under stand . she says i have to put lotion cause there dry but usually just makes it worse and i get more red bumps then i did before.

He said that it may not be my skin, but instead my nerves sending signals to make me think my legs are itchy from the arthritis. I was looking for a 2nd opinion. I never would have linked the 2. Thanks for the help!

I have yet to take the drug but I am going to let you know if it also helps with the itchy legs. I really dont think the itchy legs are caused by histamines. I think the problem is Eosinophil mediated. It makes sense that inhibiting leukotriene's might solve both problems.
