Index finger curved

Common Questions and Answers about Index finger curved

finger

I had a serious accident on 12/5/10 where my middle finger was amputated between the 1st and 2nd joints (above the PIP) and my index finger was fractured (not sure what type of fracture, but it goes horizontally across my finger). Doctors were unable to save the middle finger, but they sewed up my index finger the night of the 5th (it was pretty much split open). I had surgery the following day and had 2 pins inserted into my index finger.
Numbness in tips of thumb, index finger, and sort of middle finger. Ibuprofen and Naprosyn didn't touch the pain. Neither hot nor cold helped. Went to the MD and the xrays show the disk spaces are ok. The MD diagnosed it as cervical myalgia and prescribed Ultram for the pain and made a referral to physical therapy. The thinking is it will resolve on its own, but PT would help "move it along.
I'm old. I am not a doctor. I broke a finger when I was young. I taped it to the next finger. It healed crooked. Although I am used to it and there is no pain, it affects some things that I really like to do, like playing guitar. Doctors are overly cautious now because of petty lawsuits. (I'm suing you because you didn't take care of my broken pinky and it healed wrong.) If you want it to heal correctly, do what your doctor says. End of sermon.
I have no problem doing this with my right hand, but on my left hand, unless I push down on the first joint of my middle, ring, or pinky fingers, they remain curved. My index finger works OK but is weak. I'd like to know exactly which muscles aren't working, and which nerves are involved. Any suggestions on therapy to regain function would be appreciated.
My boyfriend wanted me to post this question for him. He has a curved penis and he was wondering if there was anyway he can fix it without surgery. He would like to know what causes a curved penis and the possible non-surgical solution to it. I myself as his girlfirend have a question about it too. How would it affect our sex life once we started having sex? I appreciate any help as soon as possible. Thank you.
i can say im getting very used to not doing anything with that index finger utilizing my middle finger instead(that includes the typing im doing now!!
But now even short my index finger mostly, curves downward drastically. I do smoke, have chronic bronchitis and type 2 diabetes.
I have the paresthesia in my entire left arm that lasted 5 days. Occasionally, I felt some of the numbing between my index and middle finger on the sides. Almost feels arthritic, yet like you have the flu in one extremity but without a fever :D Fun $hit isn't it?
Her dominant hand index finger is permanantly fixed in a curved position. When there is ANY amount of bleeding it means the skin has been broken and bacteria have had an opportunity to enter. It sounds like your cut was close to or over your knuckle. The trip for bacteria from skin to knuckle is very short. The trip for antibiotics from blood to bone is long and difficult. Yup, go get the antibiotic and do it now! Hope your mishap has a non-event ending.
I have carpal tunnel symptoms (cannot open jars, have lost fine motor skills with my index finger and thumb, etc.) as well. The pain in my hands varies from day to day. Some days the pain in my hands is excrutiating. A week ago, I took 250 mcg. of Vitamin B12 shortly before I went to bed. Within 15 minutes, the pain in my hands began to subside. My subjective interpretation of the level of pain was that it decreased from a 9 to a 3, on a scale of 0-10, with a 10 being the highest level.

Hi, I've been suffering with bad neck & left arm pain with muscle twitching, headaches and back shoulder blade pain & bad muscles spasm in the neck, trapezius & forearm for over 1 year now. Follow up MRI 1 year after the first shows even more of a protrusion at C6-7 now. I've tried the conservative route for a year without any improvement. I'm booked for a C5-6&C6-7 microdiscectomy & instrumented fusion in the new year.
Just put your index finger on the blunt end, and hold it gently with thumb and other finger...aim, then push...right up till you have at least your first knuckle hidden up there. Then let it go of course..otherwise you will look pretty silly walking around with your finger up there! I use both applicator and non..but find the applicator ones tend to kind of take a bit of skin with it! Eowuch! Especially when I am rushing the job, so to speak!
In successive weeks the pain has gotten better, and the numbness in the middle and index finger have also become less, although they are still there. My main problem now is muscle weakness and atropy, in the Chest(pectoral), Tricep, and shoulder area, I've had an MRI and Cervical Myelogram done. Which confirm the rupture at C6-C7, bone spurs and discs bulging at higher levels.

Check to see if your hips are way out of whack by standing before a mirror and touching both hip points with your index finger. If so, there's an execise that will help. I like heat more than ice. A little ice after heat can be good - but too much or without the heat preceding can make me spasm more. A lot more. Really hot showers with the massaging head has given me relief. I then keep it really warm by throwing on double sweatshirts straight away and stretch on an ortho-ball.

They have never tested his brother for neuroblastoma regardless of how much I have begged. He also has a hard little lump on his left hand in his palm where the index finger meets the palm. It moves a little, and seem to be about the same hardness as a hard cartlidge (not like the cartlidge in your ear, harder than that, but not quite bone). It's very worrisome to me to have these issues going on with my son when his twin brother has cancer, and no one will check him out!
Started innocently with neck fatigue and developed in chest, shoulder and tringling of left arm to the tip of my index finger. EMG and MRI proved negative.ER visit and overnight ruled out heart condition. Spent four sessions with accupuncturist while medical appointments and system run their course with minimal benefit. Tomorrow I finally have my appointment it the orthopedic.

Erectile problems Retracted penis Stiff penis when flacid When I squeeze my penis with index finger and thumb, there is slight discomfort and I can feel the urethra or other veins that run through the middle of the penis. It's as if there is no smooth muscle tissue in there. A sort of tingling sensation in my penis. I have also smoked pot and it heightens it. I feel as if I masturbate it may go away - but it doesn't I also don't get full erections.
It normally connects along the top edge of the scapula (shoulder blade), but apparently in some people it connects to the clavicle or other locations in that area. If I put a finger just inside the acromion (that bone that sticks up on top of my shoulder), and roll it backward and down into the notch between the outer end of my clavicle and the top of my scapula, I can feel the end of the omohyoid. It is extremely sore - on the order of the pain other people are describing here.
Recently, I am experiencing numbness in my right index finger and middle finger. I've seen a chiropractor, had the epidurals, can longer get mri's because they show up fuzzy so I have to get something called a mylogram (or something like that). All I know is it is painful because they have to put you on your stomach jab you with a series of needles than one big needle in the middle of your back, turn you upside down and let the ink flow to your head.
