I had a yeast infection after my last period, i just started my period yesterday and when i wipe or take out the tampon it feels like i'm using razor blades. it also feels like i'm swollen in that area which makes it hard to take out the tampon. I don't have pads at the moment or i would use them. please help.
Just for a little background information, in 2010 is when I began noticing a little bit of discomfort but for about half a year I did nothing about it. When I finally went to the doctor I was treated for a yeast infection. I have been in the doctor treating a yeast infection about every 6 months since then. It is now 2013. I believe it is safe to say this is NO LONGER a yeast infection if it ever was.
the only antibiotics i take is 800mg IBuprofen 500mg Amoxicillin and 500mg Hydrocodone. and there for my tooth because I had an Root Canel done.... well this yeast infection stop me from having a period?? and When I do have my period well it fush it out for me?? the itching is only by my clitoris...... About 3 weeks ago, I found pin sized bumps on my groin area just below my belt line ( i have a small beer belly so it hangs over my belt) I waited 2 weeks before going to the dermatologist, He took a biopsy and have now been in agony freaking myself out for the last 2 weeks over what it could be and my appointment is on thursday.
Can Kidney pain be a side effect of taking Ibuprofen? I was taking ibuprofen last week consecutively for 3 days (400mg t.i.d) after laser eye surgery. A day or so after starting it I experienced mild pain/discomfort in my left flank that came in waves. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen the flank pain also stopped.
The next day I took one more dose - the flank pain started again within an hour, but was gone the next day.

one day, i felt something tingly down there and when i pulled down my foreskin, i saw some 3 pimple/sore looking things which freaked me out. next day went straight to doctor and he said it was yeast infection. i also tested for std's all came negative.
so i applied the hydrocortisone cream. in couple days, the sore/pimples dissapeared but the redness in my head of penis remained. the thing is, my penis never really itched, mainly felt more like burning.

Well, the only good way to test for herpes is to take a swab from an active outbreak. There is a blood test, but it isn't as specific or as accurate as an active swab. Does your boyfriend know for SURE that the STD panel they did recently included a herpes test? They often don't, unless you specifically ask. I believe I have a yeast infection because I was prescribed antibiotics and it hurts really bad. The top part of my vagina is super swollen, red, and it burns. Until 2 hours later I woke up and my entire vagina felt like it was on fire (the inner folds). I am taking a bath right now because my mother said it would help.

I will most likely go back tomorrow, however, I recently tried the spit test for a male yeast infection. I couldn't verify the validity of this test, but it says to spit into a glass of water first thing in the morning and watch your saliva. I started drinking a lot of cranberry, taking cranberry pills, yeast defense pills and I started the 3 day yeast infection treatment, the creams. The last time I had a yeast infection, my symptoms cleared after one cream treatment. Not the case here.
Several days went by while I was trying these at home treatments. I even tried vinegar, didn't work.
