I know it has only been a little over 24 hours, but i feel horrible. Just horrible. How long will this last? does anyone have anthing good to say about this? My 1 year anniversary is not this weekend, but the weekend after that and i want to be perfect for it. But right now, they only way i can see myself enjoying it...is by getting more pills...ugh. what do i do?
The study is very focused on just coffee. In the discussion they talk about effects of caffeine but there are many more sources of caffeine than just coffee. There's soft drinks, energy drinks, diet pills. None of these was included. I suspect the study was sponsored by the coffee industry. This is a common practice, for instance, the red wine industry always sponsors studies on the health benefits of red wine and they don't even attempt to hide that fact.
Well it took about 5 hours and plenty of water to start feeling better, I figured I am allergic to caffeine or coffee, I am scheduling now an appointment with my doc for food allergies test, can someone tell me how does the food allergie test look like, also advice to people with panic attacks and enxiety it just maybe something as simple as the stupid coffee. thanks.

HEY EVERYBODY How come no-one's talking about "LONG TERM EFFECTS" and how it AFFECTS you? (lol) THIS FORUM SAYS "LONG TERM EFFECTS" at the top. I wanna talk about long term effects, but it seems like everyone who succesfuly stops, ALSO STOPS COMING TO THIS WEB SITE! I'm guessing that this is the case because this "long term" forum seems to be full of people that are talking about being on their 3rd to 30th day of detox.
What are the long term effects physically from taking pain meds? A Dr. told me the other day i should be taking florafiber along with the pain meds. Anyone know why?
Mind you, I also use nicotine to quit smoking, which I think may add to the initial stimulant effect of the coffee. I want so badly to quit since I know how calm and amazing I will feel. My anxiety almost completely dissapears after some time without caffeine, but I haven't been without for longer than two weeks for twelve years, since I started drinking it. But at the same time it's so difficult since it's pretty much a decision I'm forced to make.
Glil - I used to shoot all that stuff long long time ago (over 30 years ago), and yeah - it got me this virus and a whole bunch of my friends this virus, too (but we didn't find out until recently (or - in the last five years or so and long after we had laid that past life style down.) So you had recently acute? Well yeah I guess you did!
) This past February, about two weeks before I started treatment, I read that coffee had protective effects for the liver. Hmmm. Not a big coffee drinker, I stopped by the local Starbucks and had a double-latte something or another. Strongest d*mn drink I can remember. :) That night was the beginning of my GERD (persistent reflux)problems that have hounded me throughout my treatment. I'm looking for a stronger word than "ironic" but I guess ironic will have to do.
"Living is just so dangerous! ;)). " Isn't that the truth! ----------------------------------- Well, I am assuming that coffee is good because even the liver Dr.'s are saying to drink it. What I want to know is, does anyone know if a certain kind of roasting method makes it better or worse for what we are trying to treat with it. I remember that an unfiltered French coffee was said to not be good ( It was in one of the earlier studies.
When can I expect the withdrawals to end and how long does it take to get back to my normal self with no effects whatsoever of the Fentanyl? I seriously need help!
I posted something a few days about the benefits of coffee on one's liver (not necessarily easing side effects but in general. It was something I read. And today I read this. Guess I'm gonna start drinking it. 65 years old - never too late? http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/16/health/coffee-drinking-longer-life/index.html?
I have heard that one or two cups of coffee will not hurt the baby, and will not pose risk for miscarrige (I am very concerned about miscarriage being I had one back in June). How many of you continued your morning cup of coffee? Can I give in? If not safe what can I do to help me focus at work and wake me up. I am torn! Some say it's harmful some say not in small amounts?
I have been reading for some time about the importance of drinking ALOT of water while on tx. Well... I drink ALOT of coffee. NOT alot of water. I'm not sure how well I can make the transition. I've never been much of a water drinker and if anything, it's soda water. Does that count? (Maybe a stupid question but I'm asking. Maybe those bubbles have adverse effects?) Can I still have my 4-6 cups of coffee in the morning...and drink water all throughout the day..
Odd I stumbled on to this site obviously from a google search how long does vic w/d last and felt compelled to read every post. I am sitting here at the 24 hour mark and its not dreadful but it is pretty bad. I am sure this is just the beginning. I realized the last couple months how I was always running right to the wire for my script this month however I am about 4 days shy. I have exhausted all my options and have been debating going to a urgent care place to get them.
I am completely off of them for 2 months now and am exeperiencing no sleep at night and extreme depression, how long before I start feeling normal again and start sleeping better. Also I have read that it will take up to 2-5 yrs. before I start noticing signs of recovery, is this true or not?

it is unclaer how long one last. but here are some of the thing s you can do to help contol it. wear cotton underwear, do not wear nylon or any other kind but cotton because allows your genitals to breathe while t6he other fabrics trap moisture and that cntributes to the growth of the yeast. avoid using soaps that arent pH balanced. you may want to use johnson & johnson baby soap. sleep naked to let air circulate around the afected area.
Would a doctor say such? What are some of the long-term effects that could come from long term usage? Over the last 4-5 years(used ephedrine for over a year, previously), I've had some serious side-effects, totally life altering side-effects.
I agree with you - it should be out of your system by then. How does coffee affect you? Your Doctor is right in that untreated ADD or whatever can cause problems. My question is how did you get the Adderall. Did you go through a psychologist who diagnosed your problem - or just kinda take the easy way out.
Kind of glad to know others have the same problem with joint pain but really tired of it. Exercise does help with energy level but we should all ask our doctors about the long term effects of treatment and what we can do about it. It really is kind of everywhere in my joints, does not stick to just one place. If anyone gets any answers about this let me know.
I have severe joint and muscle pain as well as fatigue and dont know how long I can keep working, My employer does not understand and neither do my doctors want to admit this.
