For snacks, have such things as: bananas, raisins, grapes, mixed nuts, mandarins or oranges. If this persists, you may want to see a different doctor for a second opinion.

Dairy, high fiber foods and sweetened beverages are some of the culprits, although there can be other reasons as well. Experts suggest that vomiting is more common if the pre-race meal (eaten anytime) had a higher fat or protein content. If you think this is not related to food intake, you might need to see your physician for evaluation. Hope this helps.

If the source of protein varies, or the diet of the cows/chickens for milk/eggs varies, or production conditions change, these contaminants will vary from batch to batch, making it difficult to actually know whether there are contaminants now or not. Powders that were rated an A two years ago could be contaminated now, and vice versa.

There’s no drug to decrease creatinine levels but the only way is to find out the underlying cause of the deranged kidney function and rectify the same.

Avatar f tn Sadly, I'm starting to learn that a lot of doctors and health specialists don't know anything about this. I recently saw an acupuncturist (that makes her my 21st health care specialist that I've gone to seeking help for my B6 Toxicity). She started trying to get me to eat a "healthy" diet. But most of the foods are high in B6. So I'm in even more pain now than I was before I saw her. My recommendation to you would be to keep a log of foods that you eat.
Avatar f tn In the early stages of your withdrawal, you might not be up for eating solid foods, so many people choose to drink Ensure protein drinks instead, as meal substitutes. A diet high in protein is essential for detoxing. Red meats, while high in protein, should be avoided during the early stages of your withdrawal, because they contain components which heighten pain and inflammation. Avatar f tn Based on reading online about purines in food and uric acid, there are a number of foods my husband likes to eat that have high purines and will then contribute to high uric acid. He is now trying to avoid certain fish and shellfish like crab and shrimp. I also read that vegetables like asparagus, mushrooms and spinach are high in purines. Hope between his Dr and a dietician he can come up with some solutions, so the kidney stone attacks do not return. Again, Thanks for your comments.

Amino acids are precursors to the neurotransmitters, or specialized brain cells, which help you to maintain mental acuity and motivation. A half-cup of cottage cheese, 1 cup of yogurt or 1 ounce of hard cheese provide between 10 and 15 ounces of protein, approximately one third of your daily protein requirement. Omega-3 fatty acids.

Plus high sugar or high fat foods will leave you hungry much more quickly than the lean protein and complex carbs. If you care to give us more information, about yourself, maybe we can help you figure out what the problem is.
Avatar m tn I am 18 years old and have been training for over 2 years and have always used either protein shakes or protein bars to supplement my lifts. I have been using the Muscle Milk to help me to gain muscle mass as I am going to be playing Rugby at the college level this fall.
