574118 tn?1305135284 i know when i eat alot of deep fried food i get severe heartburn and it makes me uncomfortable, even to the point where my chest gets tight.... i think as a general rule we should avoid fried foods, with or without our medication :) But I don't think you're in any danger with the meds and oil..
Avatar f tn So I just found out I was pregnant yesterday but I am about 6 weeks along. Heartburn is that normal???
Avatar n tn I am having the same symptoms. Heartburn, back pain, lightheaded and neausea, I also had lots of belching but I do that to try and stop the neausea. I took my blood pressure and it was 146/91 and BPM was 86, my normal is about 110/66 and BPM is about 65 to 70. I had Reflux surgery 15 years ago and have not had heartburn since, until last night. Symptoms have gone away since the middle of the night. History of my family.
Avatar f tn Ummmm...before I had a positive, I was feeling similar. Bloated, gassy, tired...I felt some odd sensations I can only describe as pulling in my lower abdomen. Lower back pain. But...those are also sometimes symptoms of your period coming on. Anyway...I know that wait until you can test is sheer torture - everyone here has been through it. Just try to keep yourself busy for the next few days!
Avatar f tn I'm 8 weeks along and the only symptoms I'm having are heartburn and fatigue. I haven't experienced nausea or sickness or even bloating. Do some people just develop the symptoms later than others?

Avatar f tn Have a few questions. I know all pregnancy is different but I know want to hear different stories. This is my 2nd pregnancy. Just found out having another child and everything is already different from 1st. I have a 2yr old daughter. I'm 7weeks and eating alot more, more heartburn and already really sick. Are boy and girl symptoms different?
Avatar f tn I thought it was my son not letting the food threw but when i went to the Dr for heartburn she said its just a symptom of heartburn. I felt so full and the food sat there forever. I even got sick a time or 2 because it wasn't going anywhere. Talk with your Dr. I got put on zantac for my heartburn and it has helped with the food just sitting there in my stomach. Im supposed to take it twice a day but i take it in the morning and ill take it at night as needed.

715930 tn?1338722436 hiya heartburn can affect you in different ways so it may just be that and maybe over the counter remedies are not working because it is too strong go to your doctor who can maybe give you some stronger medication to help with the symptoms your having. good luck hope you get it all sorted.
Avatar f tn Is it bad to eat a lot of spicy food during your pregnancy ?? Like almost every day ? Does it affect the baby ??
Avatar f tn If you usually eat spicy foods you will be good. May give you heartburn now though! Enjoy. I could go for nachos now too! I think it is in the last few weeks they say spicy food can induce labour.
Avatar f tn It affects yourself more than anything. Spicy food will make you more prone to heartburn at night. But it's totally fine for your baby. It's not the most nutritious but once in a while is okay.
9642625 tn?1406410726 Nope, it won't affect your baby at all! The only thing that might happen is an increase in heartburn. For me, it's worth it because I've had heartburn and acid reflux since I was a teenager.
Avatar n tn ( Try bot to lay down right after a meal either, that can aggravate heartburn symptoms.
