Common Questions and Answers about Frequent urination lower abdominal pressure

frequent-urination

I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
I complained to the doc about the symptoms above - frequent urination, pressure on the pelvic area when I sit (sometimes), tight lower abdominal. Since my last paps, done on April 30th showed endometrial cell I had to do a biopsy this past Monday, April 14. I am still awaiting results. On that very day, I had a urine sample given for a UTI test and the results were negative for UTI.
I have lower abdominal pressure which becomes worse during intercourse so much that I have to stop, frequent urination, and I never seem full. Any idea on what is going on?
I have bloating, I look like I am pregnant, frequent urination, pressure in my abdomen, lower back pain, extreme fatigue and pain during intercourse. What could this be. My doctor kept giving me medication for urinary tract infection.
By the last one, the doctor couldn't detect any actual infection in the urine and suggested that the symptoms (frequent, urgent, burning urination) could be due to frequent/rough sexual intercourse. I have been celibate for the past few months in the hope that this would help, and it has- however, I still get the urge to pee frequently. I have read that this could be a symptom of ovarian cancer. Did anybody here experience this symptom?
That can cause you to have intermittent one sided lower abdominal pains (scrotal/penile, also) as well as the urinary frequency both day and night. Usually there is blood in the urine (often just seen under the microscopic), but not always. You will need an x-ray of your kidneys and bladder (IVP). Prostatitis is another possibility. If you do have a stone, then that needs attention sooner than later as it can cause long term kidney damage.
I have chronic fatigue. No desire to do much of anything most of the time. Frequent urination, I seem to spend more time in the restroom then out of it. I have trouble sleeping at night. I've tried ambien, but it doesn't seem to help, I'm still very tired the next day and wake up with a headache when I take it. I'm also very forgetful, this drives me crazy, I've never been this bad about forgetting things. Random abdominal pain.
i woke up this morning with lower abdominal pain a few hours later it went to my lower back and when i urinated it seems that the urine has blood. colored reddish or brownish. the lower back pain almost lasted a day.. can you please help me.
For months now, I have been suffering from severe pain/cramping in the lower left abdominal quadrant after bowel movements and urination, along with a dull/burning pain (in the abdominal area) the rest of the time. I have also been feeling frequent pain in my lower back. Nothing has seemed to help with the pain.
Had same thing, dull ache in left testicle, not serious pain but very annoying, especially when sitting. It got very severe one night so I went to the ER and got an ultrasound for testicular torsion but came up clean. They put me on antibiotics for Epididimitys 2 weeks and I was fine for about 2 weeks after that but now it has come back on more dull.
can't eat as much 4 weeks - chest pain off and on - back pain (all over, especially mid to lower) - stiff neck off and on - frequent urination - abnormal thirst - waking up several times a night - red eyes 2 weeks - cloudy/foggy head when I wake up several times a night or in the morning - cloudy head + burning temple/eye when I don't drink water for 1-2 hours (at night as well) - difficulty focusing eyes; headache when focusing far away - discolored stool; first black, then green for a week
Another doctor treated me for a kidney stone in January 2010 after not finding any evidence to support the prostatitis claim. After the stone I still had frequent urination with pain that still came and went. Another doctor suggested increasing some vitamin supplements, eating more fruits and vegetables, and regulating my urinary frequency which over a period of a couple months helped sort of still helps. Had a second kidney stone in April 2010 that I passed.

3rd thing- It says in some books ive been reading that you should have frequent urination at the beginning of pregnancy and at the end. well im in the middle and I have to go about every hour or so and if i dont go in at least 2 to 3 hours my bladder begins to hurt severely. the other night i woke up to go and i couldnt stand up, I had to lean over and walk to the bathroom because it was hurting so bad and I usually have to go at least twice a night.
There is four years that i am having frequent problems with urination and the doctors seem to think it is all in my head. I began to have this frequent need to urinate,,,day and night when i was 23 years ( still virgin so there were no vaginal infections). The urine analysis and urineculture has always been sterile,,,and abdominal ultrasound always normal.
Because the symptoms I usually have when I get a UTI are limited to pain during urination along with frequency, but I've never had the side pain. I also have a strange problem of not being able to hold it AT ALL. The feeling of having to urinate will come out of nowhere and two seconds later if I don't sit down, or urinate I'll have no control what so ever and I'll basically wet my pants. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
Frequent urination and abdominal pain can be anything from a uti to symptoms of early menapause. I don't think you are pregnant, but if you want to be sure, take a test.
I began having lots of lower abdominal pain and pressure/bloating in mid July. On Aug 1, was found to have microscopic blood in urine, put on antibiotics. Abd. pain and pressure with more frequent urination got worse. Went back to the doctor. Urinalysis showed blood / protein in urine, put on more antibiotics. Still got worse, put yet again on antibiotics (3 rounds since Aug 1!) Finally convined doc there has to be more going on. He sent me for pelvic ultrasound which was normal.
I feel the tingling in my head i get once every couple of days is linked to something going on in my abdomen. Yesteday evening i noticed a frequent need for urination that ive never had before which is not there today. Could it be the lingering effects of some sort of virus? Ive read about pheochromocytomas & carcinoid tumors but not sure - would they have been picked up in my scans? These symptoms seem like they could be attributed to anything. Im feeling really anxious about it.

The other time I had frequent urination related to a gyn problem, my bladder dome wall was folded and stuck to my uterus with endometriosis. Now I have flare-ups with interstitial cystitis at times which can make urination more frequent. I hope the doctors can locate the source(s) of your burning, pain and frequent urination. Know that stress can always play a part in making whatever it is worse, so I hope you are not too stressed out!
) SIGNS OF PRETERM LABOR (Before 37 weeks) • Change or increase in vaginal discharge • Pelvic or lower abdominal pressure • Constant low, dull, backache • Mild abdominal cramps (with or without diarrhea) that may feel like persistent menstrual cramps • Regular or frequent contractions that occur four or more times in one hour (which might be painless) • Your water breaks in a trickle or gush

) my belly is hard and warm and i have a weird movement going on in my lower belly and mild dull cramping on and off in my lower abdominal. could the tests be wrong?
frequent diarrhea and/or constipation and lower abdominal cramping. Today the side stich was pretty bad - like I had just jogged a few miles with this incredible pain. The muscles closer to the center of my abdomen were also hard like they were knotted or in spasm, yet the original source of the pain did not feel muscular - it felt more intestinal or stomach related. Yet I didn't feel nausea or gas.
Now I've developed an intense pain in my lower right abdomen, accompanied by pain in my lower back, diahrea, and frequent urination (which is painful [not externally]due to the possible endo...i guess). those are the only things i notice aside from the EXTREME pain when my husband and I tried to have sex. It flared up before bed Monday morning (july 23). we tried to have sex Tues morning, changed positions 4 times, then had to quit due to the intense pain.
I'm still experiencing abdominal cramping in the mid lower section and sometimes it travels to both sides. I tend to get lower back pain as well on some days and it seems to be a sudden and sharp pain when I breathe in real deep. Not all of the time, but sometimes Before this I had not had my period in over 6 months, and this had happened again where I had no period for a year then it came back and went away again. Everytime i stress excessively this happens.
