Avatar m tn It is normal for the semen to turn yellowish on drying and should not be anything to worry about. The frequent urinary urge could be causes due to GU infections, inflammations, neuro-muscular causes, growths/ masses etc. You may consider a detailed evaluation by a primary care physician or a urologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Hope this is helpful. Take care!

The doctor still prescribed me antibiotic (Enoxabid) for UTI but it did not improve my condition. Now i continue experiencing frequent urination. Every 1.5 to 2 hours, i feel the urge to urinate and since the last 2-3 days i am also experiencing slight burning in the vagina.
Avatar f tn Hello, Kidney diseases have been ruled out by CT scan. Lower back pain and frequent urination can be due to spinal causes causing pinched nerve, diabetes, interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder syndrome, neurological diseases, urinary incontinence and bladder dysfunction. In females, urethritis has to be ruled out.
Avatar f tn I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Avatar f tn Since Christmas I have been experiencing back pain on the right side, frequent urination again and occasional lower right abdominal and pelvic pain. Am waiting for an ultrasound to determine whether I have a kidney stone or fibroidsa(due to occasional spotting after intercourse), however the last couple of days the abdominal pain has worsened and I now have an ammonia-like smell in my urine. Could the original thought of kidney stones be the right one??

Avatar n tn Hello, Without examination confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but urge of frequent urination can be due to increased intake of fluids or diabetes mellitus.Other possibilities are glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis(inflammation of the kidneys),urinary tract infection, hypercalcemia, hypokalemia(low potassium),hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, diuretic drugs and benign hyperplasia of the prostate(in elderly males).
Avatar m tn The typical symptoms of prostatitis are fever, pelvic, testicle, or rectal pain, frequent and painful urination and ejaculation and incomplete emptying of bladder. It is also possible that sitting on an inadequately padded surface or for prolonged periods of time is causing transient irritation to the prostate. This could be appearing as the pain in the penis head. To rule out prostatitis get a digital rectal examination of the prostate or your PSA levels measured.
