Flexeril and benadryl

Common Questions and Answers about Flexeril and benadryl

flexeril

Am i allergic to ilight>flexerililight>, ilight>benadrylilight>, ilight>andilight> most PM drugs? i have scoliosis, a bulged disc, and very mild arthritis in my back, but the pain can get to be unbearable. my muscles are so tight and knotted that it can leave me in tears (20 year old male). i have been taking flexeril for a year, and i have only used two bottles (60 10mg tablets) however, when i took one two nights ago, i began to shake and get very cold.
i have tried it all! 10mg Valium...NOTHiNG. i'm 5'7" 133lbs. i don't know if that's even important?? i want to sleep like a baby. Maybe Nyquil? i have RLS like you wouldn't believe. i take 3 "Simply Sleep," 2 "benadryl" 2 "Flexiril," and all of that only gives me a seemingly un-interupted 3/4hours max. after that, i toss and turn. i get pissed off seeing 401am turn to 601...and then FUKC! Time to go to work...or school.
Many times i have to take 15 mg or 20 mg of zolpidem tartrate. A couple of times i used 3 mg of Xanax. Both ilight>Flexerililight> ilight>andilight> ilight>benadrylilight> had been discontinued. how can you still have these drugs?
i took a half of a phenergan pill on night 4 ilight>andilight> it seemed to help alot. ilight>benadrylilight> (tylenol pm) didnt help me either.
but then again people will abuse just about anything, nyquil, ilight>benadrylilight> etc...i have been on ilight>andilight> off of this drug for years...i use it during flare ups...never abused it nor wanted to...there is no high associated with it but it can make u drowsy until u adjust to it....Lyrica is the latest nerve/blocker drug and it is being evaluated due to abuse....it is much stronger than nuerontin....i guess i just can not see how it would be abused but again...anything can be i guess....
if you think its gonna be bad...its gonna be bad! if your anxiety gets bad ilight>andilight> bp rises..take an ativan. i would try ilight>andilight> save the xanax for sleep. By tomo you will have muscle cramps esp in your legs..the flexeril will help with that..and lots of hot baths. And of course you will need the immodium too! take it as soon as you first get a tummy ache..before you start having bathroom problems. Keep posting so we can help you as much as possible. i have been where you are..
benadryl has almost the opposite affect on me -- it makes me feel wired ilight>andilight> jittery ilight>andilight> sleep is like an action movie that i'm participating in ilight>andilight> when i wake up a few hundred times a night, i'm totally exhausted, especially by morning. i'm getting ready to try muscle relaxers (flexeril? soma?) -- any experience out there? Has anyone transitioned from an anti-anxiety med (e.g., low dose ativan) for sleep to a muscle relaxer?? Curious....
i am trying to stay positive, but this is far from the first time i have stopped the narcotics ilight>andilight> i wonder if it ever will end. Just wanted you all to know how much help you've been ilight>andilight> thanks for being there!
What i say below may work for some people, nothing works the same universally, but i thought i'd share in case it even helped 1 person. As of Day 9 my sleeping returned to normal ilight>andilight> i no longer had to take ilight>Flexerililight> to sleep after the first week. Things i think that helped - avoiding caffeine after my 1 morning cup and i've been avoiding sugary stuff. i also exercise before 7pm so i'm not amped up from the exercise when trying to go to bed. i never nap, even if i'm tired.
i was on Morphine ilight>andilight> Vico for 12 yrs. You have not been a long term user. if you feel bad take a hot bath ilight>andilight> soak. By day 5 i was ate gym swimming laps( maybe just too keep from jumping out of my skin But i was there. Hang tough it will be over soon and remember the lessons the pills have taught you. if you can find Ambien it will help some with sleep. Distractions such as music at night has also helped keep my mind from racing too much. i am day 9 c/t and feeling pretty great.
So i dug up some more info that i wanna share ... in case you are dying of curiousity. Or need more info like i do. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http***mb.rxlist.com/rxboard/ultram.pl?noframes;read=3179 not just for breakfast anymore Posted By: mkny Date: Friday, 21 October 2005, at 3:53 a.m.
Welcome to Part 6! Please make yourself at home!
Have you tried Soma? it's a central acting muscle relaxer like Zanaflex. i take Soma ilight>andilight> ilight>Flexerililight> ilight>andilight> Soma is far better for me. Flexeril makes me feel very apathetic and tired. Soma does not have that effect on me.
One thing i found that helped me during some of the worst parts was ilight>benadrylilight>. i helps you sleep, ilight>andilight> will relax you some during the day. it doesn't help much with that "feeling", but it takes some anxiety away. Drink lots of water, take the "recipie" if you want, some swear by it, for me it didn't do anything, and i was sick of taking pills altogether, so i threw the stuff away. i only kept the Multivitamins. Hot baths before bed help, so do showers.
As for Soma, i would stay far away from that. i've heard it is very addictive. i'm not sure about ilight>Flexerililight> ilight>andilight> how addictive that is. My boyfriend takes one a night for neck pain and finds it helpful. The doctor didn't mention anything about it being addictive, and she usually does. For your back, are you taking 800 mg. ibuprofen (though make sure you protect your stomach with Prilosec or something.) Also, ThermaCare back patches are great.
helps nausea and the runny eyes people get someones during wd..muscle relaxers like ilight>flexerililight>, ilight>andilight> many others zyoprexa ilight>andilight> many others can help as well...look in ut cabinet and c what u got there if u dont have anything in the cabinet and the valerian or melatonin doesnt work..ask u dr..
i don't sleep well at nights because my legs and arms would feel restless. i take neurontin ilight>andilight> ilight>Flexerililight> at nights to help me alittle bit. i'm wondering how long will i experience this? im afraid that i would become dependent on those medications. Thanks!
)it is hard to sleep with the hard collar on, so i take a ilight>benadrylilight> to sleep.as well. i have had some headaches ilight>andilight> some incisional pain but i was warned that would be the case.if you wear glasses, be careful because you can't look down and may walk into something an fall. (i wear contacts, so this is not a problem.) it really helps to have a good support system.
Thanks for all your comments and advice, i appreciate it! i called my doc today ilight>andilight> he's phoning in a scrip for Zofran ilight>andilight> ilight>Flexerililight>, so hopefully those will give me some relief with nausea and muscle pain. i'm looking into options for sleep....melatonin hasn't been strong enough, benadryl makes me groggy in the morning, and apparently i sleepwalk (and sleep-cook and sleep-clean) on Ambien, so that's out! Figuring out ways to deal with sides has definitely kept me on my toes!
This afternoon i took a zanax ilight>andilight> tonight before i go to bed i plan on taking a ilight>flexerililight> to help with the muscle twitching . Any suggestions ?
barbie i have taken Ultram, Ultracet, Effxor, Neurontin, Lyrica, ilight>Flexerililight> ilight>andilight> pain meds. All had side effects or made me sick because of UC and iBS. Right now only doing 5mils of Fexeril at night, 20 mils of Tranxene 3 times daily and tylenol. Helping with sleep problems, eases pain just a bit and keeps me calm. Problem though is sleepy, loopy minded, and balance is bad. if you do not have stomach problems Flexeril might help you if you take several doses daily.
Most sleep specialists warn that ilight>benadrylilight> can have some adverse effects on REM stage sleep. My neurologist suggested ilight>Flexerililight> or Zanafelx as better choices. i typically reach for 10 mg of Valium.
withdrawals from roxy 30s day 4 will a flexiril help me at all relax ilight>andilight> possibly sleep ?>????
i have been having panic attacks, mood swings ilight>andilight> nightmares lately ilight>andilight> i am really scared. i work full time overnights ilight>andilight> sleep during the day. i can't take any time off of work so i am basically looking for the easy way out. i am not even sure if i am taking enough to be addicted. At this point, i am more afraid of w/d symptoms than i want to quit. Any thoughts or advice on this?
Hi ilight>andilight> Welcome Tramadol Warriors, Please come on in ilight>andilight> make yourself comfy. All are welcome.
Ambien(Zolpidem) Lunesta(Eszopiclone) Sonata(Zaleplon) imovane(Zopiclone) Also to be avoided are muscle relaxants like Soma ilight>andilight> ilight>flexerililight>. they are not only addictive, but they will make you behave like a monkey and then not remember it later. if you're actively abusing opiates AND taking Benzos/hypnotics/muscle relaxants, then you are basically getting down on your hands and knees and begging for an overdose.
i also got melatonin ilight>andilight> ilight>benadrylilight> ilight>andilight> took massive quantities of those to help sleep. i now only take benadryl every once in a while to sleep. You can do this! it really ***** for about 2 weeks and then it gets better! i promise. Molly P.S. My father and grandfather are doctors and i will be graduating in May from nursing school, so i kinda have some knowledge and experience in the medical field.
i started taking Trazadone for sleep ilight>andilight> it is giving me headaches. i cut it from 150 mg to 75 mg and that helped some. Will the headaches eventually go away?
Soma ilight>andilight> ilight>flexerililight> are boyh muscle relaxers. They should help you relax ilight>andilight> sleep, especially if you have the restless legs at night. Hang in there.
if you absolutetly need something i think that ilight>flexerililight> is your best option. i used it ilight>andilight> you are right, it just puts me to sleep which might be what you need. Of course, don't drive while taking it...you know the routine...Good luck!
