feel heartburn in back

Hello, I have lived for several yaers now with GERD, I use Nexium 40mg 2 or 3 times a week, it helps me a lot but I often have a pain in beetween my shoulders after meals epecially fried meals. Could this be the same heartburn I feel in my chest after a meal? It always comes from 1 to 2 hours after a meal. it seams to me that Nexium don`t have any affect on this symptom.

The only think I notice with the back pain is 1)that it is a searing pain in upper back, that radiates from center out, 2) That I break a little sweat (probably anxiety as I dread the pain) 3) Often I have to go have a bm 4) My upper stomach feels pressue, like theres something pressing it out ( off center to the left, between breast and belly button area) 5) when I breathe I can feel the pressure even stronger. Why what does a bloated feeling mean?

My symptoms are strange feeling In My chest , I keep belching and having an acid taste in my mouth and constant feeling to be sick but when I do its just acid.

The heartburn went away for a few weeks, but then came back with a vengeance and wreaked havoc on my life for the next couple of months. It caused sore throat, and heartburn mainly, and also developed fluid in the inner ear which caused chronic pain and popping. It improved, but I still get episodes of heartburn/gerd every now and then, just not as bad as it was over the summer.

Second trimester, I had horrible heartburn, back pain, and sciatic nerve pain. I got a body pillow several weeks ago, and that has been helping my pain a lot and I've started drinking lots of water to help with heartburn. It's just weird because other than my huge bump, I have no "symptoms of pregnancy" lol. Anyone else experienced this?

38 weeks today! My due date buddy already had her baby so I am feeling impatient.

After i eat i feel like my food is on my chest and refuse to go down and this last hours after i eat...ppl think its heartburn but i nt think so i havent eaten spicy food nor do i eat late nor do i feel a burning sensation...it feels more like indigestion...i am 23 weeks...does anyone knows anything i can do to help with this?

Im 20 weeks + 6 and i feel the same exact way as you do but also have alot of acid reflux , never comes up but i always feel it in my throat -.- and sleeping at night isnt really hard or anything i just get more tired throughout the day and stay up alot at night .

However, I just wanted to know what severe heartburn can feel like. And how do I know if my symptoms are severe heartburn and not something like a heart attack? I never have any major pains in my chest, usually discomfort and burning pains. My heart also feels like it is going to beat right out of my chest and it occasionally flutters, the latter happens when I am lying down. I also get a weird metallic taste in my mouth whenever the symptoms really flair up.

I cant lay down. I cant even sit for too long. I feel so sick and keep getting that throw up feeling in my mouth. I havent thrown up once in the last 9 months!

t seem to sleep any longer because I am have a really bad ache in my stomach/back. I feel that putting pressure onto my stomach helps the pain relieve. - Heartburn/Acid I have heartburn around 3 times a day, and EVERY time I lie down, I have been on several acid preventer tablets and it is fine when I am on them, but as soon as my course has finished, it comes straight back again. The acid has been that bad in the past, it has causes be to be sick a couple of times.

ve tried eating crackers as soon as I wake up but it gives me really bad heartburn(everything besides milk gives me really bad heartburn) then I have to take a tums then I go back to feeling nauseous. Is anyone else having this same problem.

Has anyone else had gallbladder issues while pregnant? I'm 34 weeks Monday and was just recently diagnosed 2 months ago with gall sludge and just last week gallstones. I've been having severe attacks to the point I'm in bed and feel like I'm dying. Hot flashes chills vomiting and severe stomach pain. I met with a surgeon and they want to remove it but not till after baby's here. Ob is inducing by 38 weeks at the latest but the earliest is 37.

Go to your local GP he/she will be able to prescribe you some meds and you feel back to you old self in no time hopefully. Like I said I'm not an expert, but I went through something similar.

At night I try to sleep on my left side like what I read, but my arm, shoulder would fall asleep. My hips would ache and feel stiff. I find myself back on my bed. I even have a long body pillow. I haven't been comfortable in weeks. I try not to take medicine for the heart burns/acid reflux. Hang in there we are near the end.

Hello everyone. I had my son 10 months ago and just found out I was pregnant again a few days ago. I was wondering if it is normal to not have any symptoms? I don't feel like I am Pregnant. My last pregnancy I was so sick throughout my pregnancy I lost 30 pounds. This pregnancy I feel nothing, no boob soreness, no nausia, no heartburn. Can it be because I am breastfeeding? Thanks for any advice, I am nervous that something is wrong or maybe I got a false positive.

I feel this weird thing in the back of my throat, it's almost like when you drink soda or anything fizzy and you have to burp, but I've been feeling this for hours now. It's really uncomfortable. Like there's some kind of pressure building up in my stomach but can't get out.

I think the reason why it made me so dizzy, sleepy, drowsy, and disoriented that I had to stop after only 2 days was that I was also taking Klonopin 1mg/day. Ever since I stopped taking the Lexapro I've become very depressed, all I feel like doing is lying in bed and shooting myself in the head to stop the chronic headaches. I vommitted and could barely stand up. I went back to see her and she switched my heartburn med to Nexium. This has helped a little. I still have heartburn almost every day. When I wake up in the morning I usually cannot eat anything because I feel nauseated. I have to force myself to eat by 9/10am. The sensation/noise is my main concern. I cannot find anyone that has this happening. It seems that others describe something similar but they don't have the other symptoms.

I can mostly feel it at night time when I am laying in bed or watching t.v. and in the morning time. I can put my hand on my stomach and feel whatever it is moving around. Sometimes I can feel it during the day but not very often. If someone can please give me a good idea of what this might be I'd really appreciate it. What could it be?

My first pregnancy i would feel it in my ears it was horrible. People are like in your ears, wth? And nothing would help.

If I tilt my head forwards as far as I can my back feels tight and the sensation I get in my back is like the burning in my shoulder only much less severe. Hi I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and thank god I haven't felt any pain or Heart burn and my belly isn't that big (baby is healthy). But it seems to good to be true , anyone feel the same way? In a way I don't feel pregnant but my baby is very active .
