Tattoo artists will refuse to do a tattoo on a pregnant woman. And you have a risk of getting an infection due to the hormones making your skin really sensitive. The sensitive skin and a needle going into you skin with ink, that really isn't good.

I was told that tattoos while pregnant is a No No because if the baby needs blood a person that had a tattoo done less than a yr cant donate blood that goes for daddy too

u can get a tattoo while pregnant...................i had a big chest piece done for my daughter and there was no harm............of course...i was power pumping so i had extra milk and just pumped and dumped after my tattoo....

My husband is a tattoo artist... its technically fine to get a tattoo while pregnant cuz the ink does not go into your blood stream. It is best to just wait though because the stress and tension of the tattoo is not the best for you.

You're seriously even considering getting a tattoo. There's a big risk of hurting your baby. common sense should tell you that that's not a good idea. if you don't know that then you need to read up on some pregnancy books or something.

Most if not all tattoo shop will not tattoo on a pregnant woman. I would not risk it, its not a necessity.

Hey I am a professional tattoo artists at a very well reknown and respected shop and I'm also pregnant yay! but anyways while getting tattooed while pregnant can't hurt Ur baby because ink does not get into their bloodstream, everytime u get a tattoo u r opening Ur body to infection which in turn could cause major problems. It's probly best just to wait also after breastfeeding for the same reason.

On no terms do you get a tattoo whilst pregnant, he is being incredibly stupid and selfish to even suggest it let alone putting this kind of pressure on you. If my man was doing that to me I would say fine don't marry me my baby's health is more important.

The ink my not take, the ink may fade, the tattoo could end up not looking like anything after a while. There is a greater risk of infection because our bodies are cranking up their systems and even a simple cut wound would need more taking care of then it would if you weren't pregnant. I got a tattoo when I was 6 months I went to a shop...they just have you sign a paper about not sueing them if u get a infection. But they use clean needles & teach you how to clean it. Most tattoo shops will tell you no because your preg.

No respective tattoo parlour will give a tattoo to a pregnant woman, nor will they preform piercings. There is no evidence that a tattoo will or will not harm your baby which is why they will not do it.

Your skin might still be stretchy and that could cause the tattoo to look weird in a couple months when it shrinks back up.
