6470732 tn?1439556292 I was told I would have the blood screening at this appointment that checks for possible issues like Down Syndrome. I assume at this visit my doctor will schedule my next ultrasound at the hospital (they aren't done in the office). My appointments got changed around twice because of "emergencies" lol. I had an almost fainting spell and got checked out like 5 days before my original appointment and they based my next appointment off that.
Avatar f tn Thank you for your comments Ed. The question was raised as my ecgs showed heart attack but I am told it is a red herring. I need to know for sure as I am experiencing fainting, low blood pressure and low pulse rates. I am not going into an operation (on stomach) until I am 100% confident. I had a hole in heart repair last year so being referred back to hospital. Looking at your profile you have certainly been through it! Many thanks.
Avatar n tn I in the last 5 months have had several fainting and near fainting spells with all cardiac work ups coming back normal tilt table test was normal other then feeling like I was going to faint. Moderate to severe abdominal pain usually after a large or greasy meal.Left eye twitches before and after fainting spells as well as a right sided c-shaped headache that last no more then 20 min and starts behind right eye area.Any help or suggestions would be helpful.
Avatar n tn I've never had problems with fainting. I completely blacked out for a minute. I went to the ER, and they did a basic work up, ekg, some blood and urine tests, Ct scan,Cutarad Duplex ultrasound and chest xray Everything looked normal. One week later, it suddenly hit me again. This time my eating and drinking were normal. I was standing on a deck and it started spinning. For several days after that, I would have close calls. Went back to work, and thought it was all better.
Avatar m tn s, heart monitor, MIBI test, angiogram, nitro patch, abdominal ultrasound, chest Xrays, plus others) the only conclusion was that I had arrhythmia for an irregular heart beat. My cardiologist prescribed 2.5 mg of bisprolol daily which I have taken faithfully and up to now I have not had any issues of significance. Last night after about 1 hours sleep I awoke with a severe chest pain and was sweating profusely.
Avatar f tn I fainted when I was in early pregnancy.
Avatar f tn t in pre term labor. Im not in labor so they did kidney ultrasound to see if I have a stone. At that point I had crampin so bad in my lower abdomen an around to my lower back. Pretty much my urine sample came back good an the ultrasound showed that I may have possibly had a stone. They told me to go home rest take a warm bath heating pad take Tylenol an nyquil to help me sleep an if the pain didn't go away to call my doc first thing in the morning. I was up all night with the pain.
Avatar f tn I I was told by my ultrasound technician I have to get induced I had told my doctor the next day and cuz I had an appointment with him and he did not allow it I have been having trouble breathing...
Avatar m tn About 8 weeks ago my daughter started having fainting spells. She didn't loss consciousness, just kind of blackout and then felt very week. We took her to a pedi-cardiologist and they didn't test her, but based on symptoms diagnosed her with vasovagal syncope. She was put on salt pills and increased fluids. No real success, she continued to have symptoms. Then this past week, she started having a hard time breathing. She felt like she couldn't catch her breath.
Avatar m tn She was rushed to the hospital because doctors feared she was having a stroke. After having an MRI, MRA, Lumbar Puncture, Ultrasound, X-Ray, EEG, EKG, and lots of blood work...all tests were normal. In addition to the numbness, and to make matters worse, she began having body tremors followed by the inability to move or speak, blackouts, and shortness of breath. She always regains movement and the ability to speak within an hour.
Avatar f tn It's normal to have lower blood pressure during pregnancy. your body has doubled the amount of blood now. It's better for it to be low than high. Mine has always been low but my doctor isn't concerned because I don't have fainting episodes. If you have blurry vision or faint, then it needs to be addressed with your doctor. As far as weight gain/lose, everybody is different. Some people lose weight all the way through and they'll give birth to a 9lb baby.
549681 tn?1229724499 OK folks, I could use a little encouragement. I'm 9 months post RAI for a toxic nodule. I thought I was doing pretty well on Levo until 2 weeks ago. I had vertigo! Pretty scary if you've never had it before. I must have looked like one of those fainting goats. Every time I sat up, I fell over backwards. It only lasted a day, but I've been dizzy ever since.
4403438 tn?1403636499 Everything is fine. Ultrasound showed a VERY active baby moving more than the tech had ever seen a 13w baby lol thank you all for commenting.
Avatar f tn I have always been prone to fainting due to being anemic so easily.. When I got pregnant it got worse and I fainted more.. I started taking iron capsules and pre natals with iron..
Avatar f tn I had one the other day. Not sure if it will happen again. But i heard once uou faint it will happen again. When i fainted theyncalled 911.
10777943 tn?1412955415 I'm the same, I get terrible fainting spells during pregnancy. I know its not low blood pressure because I've had preeclamplsia through both pregnancies but interestingly my iron levels have been really low particularly this pregnancy. I had an iron infusion last week and haven't fainted since. Maybe get your iron checked?
Avatar f tn I had fainting spells in the shower every time with my first two. I was anemic too. the doctor had me taking iron supplements twice a day and that stopped it.
Avatar f tn I had horrible timing with my fainting spells last pregnancy. I was always really sick with morning sickness and once I passed out while on the stairs and fell down half of them. Woke up at the bottom of the stairs so confused. It's an unfortunate thing but also a bit normal. The amount of blood in your body is increasing and that is usually what causes it. If it happens a lot you should definitely go in and get some blood work done.
Avatar f tn Hi I'm 23 weeks with my second baby and besides dizziness I had two episodes of sweating and actually to the point of fainting.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else experinced a fainting/passing out moment? Definitely not from low blood sugar.
Avatar f tn I'm 11 weeks and I have been continously fainting at work. I'll lose my vision and hearing and just completely pass out. They keep telling me it's because I'm dehydrated but I'm drinking plenty of water and Gatorade and my blood pressure is very low. No one will really look more into it. I am very scared for my health and about losing my job over it. Please help.
Avatar f tn It's been two days and a half that my husband is sick, he had a fever and he thought that he just have a flu,but now its been many times he passed out for several seconds right after he feels like fainting, he hasn't eaten any solid food yet because his stomach is upset and afraid he will vomit.
Avatar f tn There's no way any of us can give you any advice on this, although I know you'd like help and I'm sure a lot of us would like to help you. Fainting can result from simple or more complex problems, and only a doc is going to be able to tell you what's going on. He really, really, really needs to be seen by a doc - his own doc or one he sees by going to an ER.
