s the deal, I just turned 14 weeks today and lately I been having fainting spells, It started last week and I spoke to my dr about it and she said that it was normal in pregnancy but I'm really worried and scared now, Today I went to audition for americas got talent and we had to stand in the line and it was really long and nobody came to get me since I was pregnant and I fainted twice on the concrete, The first time my husband caught me and the second time I collapsed and didnt even know it

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I just had a quick question for you re: fainting. I've had a few spells on and off nothing to the point where I actually faint but I start feeling like I'm going to pass out. I get sweaty and I feel sick to my stomach. I talked to my Dr. about this and she didn't seem concerned. She said sometimes your blood pressure gets low and it you start feeling that way. Just wondering if anyone has felt like this before? It *****!!

A heart condition might be the reason for my fainting spells but why am I getting the severe cramping/spasms? If there is anyone out there who has had similar occurances please let me know. I would rather know than not know what is happening to me.

I have had two fainting spells over the past 5 years where my hands and feet start to tingle before it happens as well as the feeling I have to frequently blinkand my neck feels like it needs to crack, it happened once when I was driving, I pulled over thank god.. After it happens I also have ringing in my ears and sort of the feeling in my head that I was hit with a bat. I have noticed it comes when I have high anxiety or stress.

I had Rheumatic Fever as a small child and was treated for heart murmur and on daily antiobiotic (Penicillian) until I was 18. I am 56 years old, weight 210 lbs., 5'5", have taken thyroid medication since I was 12, have high blood pressure. For years I will occassionally get these mild blackout spells. I don't completely blackout, but things go sort of gray, I get a tingling in my right arm, my body feels weak and heavy, I get heartburn or stomach pain with these.

After eating the med (magnesium trisilicate, metoclopramide and paracetamol) given to me to ease my discomfortness, my fever had gone down, sometimes i still have dizzy spells (but no fainting), but my nausea and frequent urination doesnt improve, instead the nausea got a little worse. For my nausea, i kept having there's "something stucking" around my chest area. When i tried to expel it out, little blots of white phlegm were seen.

My 14 yrs old has had fainting spells since she was in first grade. Her fainting spells looked like she was having a seizure. After she had several fainting spells, she was tested for seizures but all the test came back negative. About three years ago we find out she has an enlarged thyroid and hypothyroidism. About six months ago, she had a sleep study done because she waking up ever couple hours every night. The study showed that she was having seizures every couple minutes.

The cardiologist has ruled out cardiac reasons for the near fainting spells. They seem to be more frequent and intense during the fevers. Could it be nerve damage related? I've been getting adequate fluid intake, so don't think that's part of it. What other possibilities are there? Also, he was able to rule out heart valve vegetations, clots and infection. None of them are related to what's happening in the nervous system.

hi there, i also had dizzy/near fainting spells and hot and cold flashes over the first few weeks. i've also had heart palpitations (later on, in my 3rd trimester with my 1st pregnancy). you can check your blood pressure and drink gatorade and make sure you have enough salt in your diet if low blood pressure is the issue. i found the near fainting spells went away on their own though.

I been having dizziness spells after eating. I went to the dr. for chest pain, fainting spells. He order a holter monitor and did some labs, everything came back normal. He gave me some meds. for anxiety the didnt help. I have GERD and endometriosis. I take nexium for gerd. Any suggestions out there? Tired of having these spells....

Hi, I am a 21 year old male who had experienced spells of fainting since 10 year old. These fainting spells occur all of a sudden without me doing any physical demanding activities. I play a lot of sports and I eat healthily. Over the years my fainting spells got lesser and lesser. 2 Months ago, I fainted again. I went for a specialist check up and had a bunch of tests taken. ECG test came negative, Tilt Table came negative. My heart rate is healthy, BP is normal.

I am currently on zoloft for depression and sleep related problems but am coming off the medication with lowered dosages I also take loestrin.

I had horrible timing with my fainting spells last pregnancy. I was always really sick with morning sickness and once I passed out while on the stairs and fell down half of them. Woke up at the bottom of the stairs so confused. It's an unfortunate thing but also a bit normal. The amount of blood in your body is increasing and that is usually what causes it. If it happens a lot you should definitely go in and get some blood work done.

Hi, I have recently been experiencing something much like fainting spells. Twice now, i've found myself suddenly fallen across the table or on the ground, with no memory of how i got there. The strange thing is, i dont feel the pain of hitting the ground, I have no history of fainting, and i have managed to catch myself before i seriously injured myself. I take Rebif injections 3 times a week and my question is this does being dizzy and having fainting spells a part of the MS symptoms. In March this year I fainted after getting out of bed in the middle of the night and hit my head and had to go to the emergency room for stitches. They ran blood tests and said that all was in normal range.

I'm the same, I get terrible fainting spells during pregnancy. I know its not low blood pressure because I've had preeclamplsia through both pregnancies but interestingly my iron levels have been really low particularly this pregnancy. I had an iron infusion last week and haven't fainted since. Maybe get your iron checked?
