Avatar m tn I can watch those its the o ones I hate to watch when withdrawin.... I dealt with dts from some binges on alcohol I wnet on and I can't tolerate any alcohol at all in my body anymore it gets me sick as soon as I drink and then I have to wake up with the shakes looking for more soI can just stay abstinent from that. Its like alcohol wont allow me to drink that long before my body starts to reject it very fast. Strange huh??

Avatar n tn Four days ago I hit the right side of my forehead, frontal lobe on corner of hard wood door. It swelled up immediately and iced it for two or so hours then went to bed. Day three I started bruising around outside of my eye and became tired and confused a little. My dr. Tested me and said it was mild concussion and to take it easy. Does anyone know what signs I can look for if I'm to be getting better. I'm still tired, irritable and restless.

Avatar f tn Hi, I'm a 28year old Female. Briefly, I have been having fainting episodes - (sweating, dilated pupils, tunnel vision, heart palpitations & dizziness) I feel a pressure in the back of my head, constant lightheadedness, and nothing relieves my pain. The only way for the my dizziness to stop is to lay down or rest my head on my hand when on a laptop. My head feels heavy. I can't drive and not even walk or stand still for a long time because I would feel like I would fall.

2177836 tn?1355173877 My nephew, Ashton will literally wake up in the middle of the night and SCREAM bawling his eyes out if the dvd stopped and the tv went blank. But if the tv stays on and he has something to watch, he'll be cool and collect. Plus babies just like noise and lights a lot, it keeps them entertained.

Avatar n tn Hi, This has happened to me 4 or 5 times... you may have "vasovagal syncope" (situational fainting) and it's likely related to the low oxygen on the airplane... I usually get it after I've fallen asleep for a few minutes, on the way up (I've not gotten it on descent)-- you breathe more shallow when you sleep, so get even less oxygen (and it's low on airplanes to begin with). I wake up feeling sick, get up, and pass out near the bathroom (never usually actually sick).
Avatar f tn I am 25 years old and female. Recently I experienced a fainting spell, I have never fainted before. In the last 4 months or so I had shortness of breath while was not doing any activities, like sitting in the kitchen talking with my mom, or having a walk, I was not walking quick at all... or while watching TV. I had ploblems with my heart rhythm before, EKG was normal, and after pushing a little they hooked me up in a 24 hour EKG (in Hungary/Europe).
2013201 tn?1330148875 The other three times I had been on my feet for quite some time and it came on suddenly with seemingly no explanation as to why I would suddenly lose oxygen, if that could be a cause. Hope to hear back, and that I was descriptive enough to make some sense.
Avatar f tn Over the past two years she has had seven fainting episodes.I was very concerned as there is a history of epilepsy in my husbands family so I had her checked up completely. All tests where negative blood, sugar, heart, epilepsy and ct scan.I need some kind of advise, the episodes keep occurring and now a new sympton (headaches) has surfaced. Its scary as evrytime she has an episode she doesnt remember anyything and has seriously injured herself on 2 occasions.Any advise would be grealty appreciated.
Avatar n tn You ultimately dont know what heck the drugs does to your body. You always see those ads on TV for these new antidepressant drugs or antiallergy drugs, but then they name off some of the worst side effects imaginaeable such as: bloody nose, liver problems, fainting, dizziness, etc. well, who the heck would want these side effects and these ads say it like it's nothing. I dont think doctors really know what their doing.
179856 tn?1333547362 would you believe that a neighbor of mine in 1961, saw the interview on television and recognized me from the picture of me on the motorcycle; she had the tv on with no sound. She called me up and we chatted about people we used to know.
382218 tn?1341181487 This is short notice and perhaps someone has already posted about this (I am WAY behind on reading posts this week) but if you are able, try to catch "The Doctors" today on CBS. The theme of the show is How to Prevent a Misdiagnosis and there is a segment on MS.

Avatar n tn I started fainting when I was 5 (30 now), due to anxiety... I have fainted at least 60 times in my life since, it's so frustrating. The first time I passed-out was when the monkeys came and took Dorothy and Toto in the Wizard of Oz, crazy I know ~ since then it's ranged from fear of needles, watching other people get injured, getting my ears pierced, seeing a bear rug as a child, the list goes on and on.
