Avatar m tn I think maybe you have eye problem. Try to consult any optometrist.
Avatar f tn Sorry to be annoying but are you saying it would be physically impossible in any circumstance to get HIV from another males cum on you during mutual masturbation with possibility of cuts, in eye, in mouth, in urethra etc all unknowingly?

I have had to skip school because of it as well. The main problem is ive fainted a few times on the first day of my period, which is why i dont go to school when its my first day of my period. The first time was 8th grade and i fainted at lunch when i got my period and my teacher was really worried. It happens like this..
Avatar f tn Hi, you are right, I don't know what I had, but what I do know that the moment it happened, I felt my pulse (neck). Gloves are really sensitive so it's not that I had a distorted feeling. My normal HR during a race is about 160-180. Depends on how heavy the race was. So I presume before it started it had to be something like that. Then it felt my heart made a "hiccup".
Avatar f tn t have an answer. So that is my question - why did this happen to me during the test, and what does it mean?
Avatar n tn She saw her GP, that showed little concern in general (I was with her during the appt.), and he sent her to an eye Dr. He looked at her eye and did a VERY extensive exam with x-rays. He said her optic nerve is swollen and the red in her eye is not broken blood vessels, but they are swollen and engorged with blood. She will be seeing the eye surgeon on Monday for a follow up. Both Dr.'s said that if the pain got worse or her vision got worse to go to the ER.
Avatar f tn During that time my dad stayed with him during his final days. During this time my dad had his first blackout. He was at my Opa's house with his brothers, they were reminissing and he stood up blacked out and fell into a table. A year and approx. a month later (Christmas time) my dad was in the garage. He again blacked out and fell down and cut his chin and eyebrow. After this time he started going to the doctor to get tests done.
Avatar m tn I had laser surgery 2 days ago to correct a small tear in my retina of my right eye. The retina specialist gave me what I believe to be the numbing drops no more than 2-3 minutes before he started the procedure. During the procedure I could feel very uncomfortable stinging in the back of my eye along with the pressure from him holding the lense in my eyey. I was also seeing very bright Red, White and I belive Green lights when he used the laser.
Avatar m tn My daughter (15) has had "fainting" spells. It started with one week where she felt ill and fainted in school. She was out for a good 20 minutes, and her eyes where rolled back - fluttering. She was still "out" when the ambulance arrived. During that week she fainted a number of times (quick breathing and fuzzy periferal vision) and didn't feel like herself. Very bad headache over her right eye. It didn't happen for a few weeks so we thought it was a virus.
Avatar f tn s doing. There are two possibilities. Fainting after standing for a long time or during rest, is usually caused by vagal hyperactivity that causes a drop in the blood pressure, usually with a slow heart rate. This is more or less normal. Diagnosis is usually confirmed with a head up tilt table test, where he's "flipped" from supine to standing position when EKG and blood pressure is measured. Fainting with activity or high heart rate is almost never benign.
Avatar m tn Headache is like a nail going through left eye shooting out back of head. Also have stress headaches coming from neck shooting over top of head. Had brain aneurysm in 2004. Have tried about every drug for headaches, migraines, epilepsy and more. Have done eeg ekg catscans mri, can't remember all the other tests. I've been a human pin cushion for the last eight years. I haven't found anything that works or anybody that has same symptoms.
Avatar f tn I'm sorry :/ i hope things r alright please keep us updated and try to get ur rest
Avatar m tn The fainting/racing heart episodes did not co-incide with the low heart rate at all, her heart was normal during the documented fainting/racing heart episodes, and she had a traedmill test which showed her heart to function normally during physical activity, She continues to play sports, Track, Soccer, Snowboarding, Wakeboarding with no ill effects. The Cardiologist is talking Pacemaker to regulate her heart during sleep. Any input?
Avatar n tn she later told me that she cannot see for a couple of minutes when she wakes in the morning and feels weak, she said this sometimes occurs during the day as well. She said she is tired all the time, has headaches. She has a slight rash on her neck. I had her urine tested last November because type I diabetes runs on her father's side of the family. The urine test at that time was normal.
Avatar f tn Never had a problem, actually thought it was cool to keep looking at my pupils as they got larger. The other test is the eye pressure test. The nurse, techs put a numbing drop in your eye. I prefer this pressure test to the "puff in your eye''one. Good luck!!
Avatar n tn After he passes out, his body is loose and experiences shiver like shaking, his teeth are locked and he is unable to talk during this phase, he does respond most of the time through eye lid / body movements, his eyes remain closed most of this time though. After regaining consciousness he feels pain at the back and upper right front part of his head. At times he feels dizzy afterwards. His brain scan, MRI, LP, EEG, Multiple EEGs and telemetry and ECHO are all normal.
Avatar f tn There's no way any of us can give you any advice on this, although I know you'd like help and I'm sure a lot of us would like to help you. Fainting can result from simple or more complex problems, and only a doc is going to be able to tell you what's going on. He really, really, really needs to be seen by a doc - his own doc or one he sees by going to an ER.
Avatar n tn Shortly after passing my annual physical last week, I fainted during the following blood test (fainting in the clinic quite normal for me following needle sticks). After fainting, my pulse was 110 and my BP was 104/59, and stayed that way for the 20 minutes the nurses insisted I lay in the chair. After fainting, I could feel my heartbeat, and it felt fluttering or irregular. I have felt the sensation before, and it usually quickly clears up on it's own.
