eczema

Avatar n tn The blisters are starting to spread to the palm of my hand whereas before they only stayed on the front. They occur on both my hands. As soon as they are gone in one spot they start to pop-up on a different area on my hand. So, I just wanted to know if there is a cure out there for something like this and that it is treatable?
Avatar m tn The bumps cover my entire palm and are on both hands, I actually think they may be on my fingers too, but if so, they are very small. The bumps vary in size. The bumps stay on my palms and slowly fade away as my hands dry out (This takes about 20 minutes at the most). The bumbs are hard, almost callous like, slightly itchy, and mildly painful, especially in the creases of my hands when I try to bend my hands.
899169 tn?1242617019 I have had these small bumps on the back sides of my hands for about 5 years now. They itch, not constantly, mostly when it is hot. they are not red they are the same color as my skin and some kinda white looking. my skin is pinkish around the area, but not bad, I believe it is from the itching. There are about 100 of these small irritating bumps. when I first noticed it about 5 years ago, I thought something had jus bit me a bunch of times, but I had it the whole summer.
Avatar f tn t have this little bumps that form on my hands. I get these little bumps on my thumbs and in between my fingers on the webbings. And sometimes at the creases where your hand attaches to your fingers. I did a lot of work where my hands got really dirty, but I never pinched anything. And I recently moved from the suburbs to country. I just started getting these bumps after the carnival season ended. There's a lot of dust where I live and we're out in the country.
Avatar n tn hello guys! 2 questions! 1. The other day I got some semen on my hands which have eczema. My eczema do itch and I do scratch them very often. But eczema don't itch all the time. when the semen got on it ,it was not bleeding, it looked like intact skin with very red rash on it. So,my question is, is this kind of no-bleeding eczema showing only severe rashes the same as intact skin?
Avatar n tn My 3yr old daughter developed a itchy blotchy red rash on her hands along with a few little raised red bumps. Then where her arms bends she developed a bumpy red rash. Then 2 days ago she seems to have the blotchy red rash on her feet. I have taken her to the doctor and they said it is not hand foot and mouth. They think it's eczema. However, the entire family seems to have this sore hand symptom with some bumps but not the redness or blotchy areas.

Avatar n tn and no one has a clue on this situation. Hands get so sore that it is very hard to take a shower, wash my hands as well as to do my daily routine. It will clear up for about 2 to 3 days and then there I go again with the outbreak. It usually take about 2 to 3 weeks for it to run its course. This condition comes about usually while I sleep and when I wake up is when they are swollen and full of blisters. It is driving me crazy.
Avatar n tn The palms of my hands have areas that look like the skin is pushed up. Especially when wet, they itch and feel really irritated. Its like small white bumps of skin, in quite a bit of profusion. What is the matter?
Avatar f tn I have developed some bumps on my hands which have developed near some scars. I think they migt be contagious because my mom has gotten some on the inside of her hands and they are spreading on my hands, as well as some starting on my legs. They don't itch at all, They are about the size of the tip of a pincil, and they are skin colored so for the longest time I just thought they were little bumpy-like scars.
Avatar m tn That seems to work great on my legs. My hands still break out a lot even with the Cetaphil restoraderm or using Eucerin Plus products for hands. I have used everything (bag balm etc.). It is caused by an allergy, or by over dry skin. They say to not use to hot water on your skin and not let it get too dry. Always keep it hydrated with a coating of one of these products. I also use a topical steroid on my hands. But it is best if you don't get started down that road if you can.
Avatar n tn I have eczema on my hands, and it gets really bad sometimes. I have started using Phisoderm soap, and it seems to help a lot. My problem is with shampoo and conditioner. They always seem to be harsh on my hands. Is there a shampoo/conditoner that will clean my hair and also be gentle on my eczema-prone hands? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
Avatar n tn every few months i'll get water blisters on my hands, fingers and even going up my arms a little ways ....they itch and bust open with water but sometime hurt This discussion is related to Blisters on Fingers.
Avatar f tn Shingles is usually on the trunk of the body and it sounds like you are just seeing this on your hands, but it does start with you having chicken pox. I also wouldn't mess with the blisters- when you pop a blister it's extremely important that it be sone in sanitary conditions, infections can set in so easily after you have popped a blister.
Avatar m tn These are my hands as of today.. this has been going on for months now, and it usually rolls around during the winter time. It may be dry skin, but I use lotion and whatnot. Please help. This is really really embarrassing for me, and would appreciate any feeds backs as far as what lotions or treatments are good. Avatar f tn For several months now, the skin beside my nails on my hands has been splitting. I have tried a different soap, several moisturizers, and sleeping in gloves. The skin heals for a few days but the split reoccurs. What causes this, and how can I cure it? The slits are deeper than a paper cut and very tender.
Avatar n tn This sounds to me like eczema. I have had eczema for years but only recently has it been on my hands. It is an allergic reaction. Sometimes mine heal and sometimes the skin on my fingers peels making them very sensitive. For this, my doctor recommended a steroidal cream. While it isn't dry skin, one of the keys to eczema is moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Although I caution you in doing that because it might be the lotion that you are allergic to (as I am...).
6333619 tn?1386598382 Is eczema common in pregnancy? I'm getting it all over my hands and they itch terribly, so bad ive scratched my hands raw. I just started using 2.5% hydrortisone cream. Its rx strength. I'm hoping it clears it up but its burning!
Avatar f tn Have you ever used anything like hydrocortisone (it is a type of steroid) cream on your hands for anything like rashes or the like on a long-term basis? That can lead to the thinned out skin like you're talking about. You seem rather young for the backs of your hands to already have this issue. I would prefer to see this not happen until you're much older. In any case, if you didn't use a steroid cream for anything in the past, don't start using any now.
Avatar n tn On the backs of my hands are several normally unnoticed bumps on hands. When looked at very close and under the sunlight especially, you can see that there are in fact dozens of small ones and several large ones. They look slightly darker but not much then the surronding skin. They do not itch burn or otherwise noticable symptoms othere than they are there. When you look at them from an angle in the sun you can see so many. Slightly raised and no specific pattern. What are they.
Avatar n tn A common type of hand eczema, called dyshidrotic eczema which occurs only on palms, soles, and sides of fingers and toes. Tiny opaque bumps called vesicles, thickening, and cracks are accompanied by itching. This itching gets worse at night and in warm weather. The pus filled lesions could be due to staphylococcus aureus, which is responsible for most skin infections. Eczema, basically, is a form of dermatitis, or inflammation of the upper layers of the skin.
Avatar n tn You see, while using a heavy moisturizer and those cotton gloves on your hands overnight can help, you still have to treat the inside of the body, too. Do not use skin care products with fragrances. Consider switching to Seventh Generation dish liquid Fragrance Free. I found out that I had to switch the dish liquid. I was even getting sick to my stomach from commercial dish detergents supposedly intended for sensitive skin. The stuff was affecting my whole body.
Avatar f tn The first stage is acute and presents as itchy blisters on the hands, fingers and toes. Then the chronic stage shows more peeling, cracking, or crusting. Then the skin heals up, or the blistering may start again. The exact cause is not known and excessive sweating can be one of the reasons. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar f tn I do not have any bumps or anything on my fingers or any where else. they are only on the top of my hands. they are not red and barely ever itchy. they are just tiny little bumps that are still my skin color. there's nothing unusual about it besides the fact that they are there... I can't pop them because there is no puss or any thing fluid like inside them. I already have psoriasis but it has become very mild and not a bother to me any more.
