does benzaclin help scars

I haverecently gone to my primary physician and dermatologist and they tell me it is acne and prescribed benzaclin/ Atralin and sumaxin. Benzaclin seemed to work at first, but now it seems to make my breakouts worse. The other two prescriptions just dont seem to work at all. What could this be?Herpes? I do have herpes, but my doctor tells me it should only be on the lip (I have it next to the lip) it's not noticeable at all.

s nothing really to pop. It usually goes away within the week. I also have been using Benzaclin for the past few months. I try to use it only when i have a pimple coming on. I know it can make my skin very sensative. I've never had a cold sore, but could this be one?? I dont feel any tingling or the other symptoms I've read about concerning cold sores.

Does anybody know a good way to get rid of scars from cutting? both arms are covered in them, and im ashamed of it sometimes, and i dont want people seeing them no more. There has to be some way, even if its just covering them up enough for them to not be so noticeable. They make me feels so ugly.

Also i have a prescription face medication cream called BenzaClin which is 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl peroxide. Also, i am away at college far from my house so could it be my face isnt use to the water here? Im not sure what else it could be. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to help??? Can someone tell me what has helped them get rid of annoying and stubborn pimmples? Pleasee helpppp.. thanks!

They are only around my ankles and look bad so no way i can wear cute sandals. ughh im just so fustrated. this does not help my selfesteem at all. i have enough with my belly full of strechmarks. i dont.complain abt the.strechmarks because as long as my baby is fine i dont care. but the flea bites have to go. im tired of wearing my vans and boots especially in this weather and w swollen feet. :(.

Injecting steroids or cortisones into the scar once a month or so till they fade away after a while generally does the treatment of such scars. Regular application of special gels or ointments may also help lessen the scar tissue. Pressure garments can also be used to remove the scars. Gel sheets applied and kept on the wounds may also prevent hypertrophic scars from forming. In very bad cases surgery and removal of scars can be done.

t offer any advise on the treatment (no one seems to be able to help me with my trauma scars either) but I can sympathize with your daughters feelings about social activity. It is a horrible feeling to be judged or looked at because of your scars. My scars take up my entire forehead and bridge of my nose. I relieved some of my anxiety with larger framed glasses and heavy bangs. if the scars can't be reduced, maybe she should try some inventive "camoflage" like i did.

I have researched the best OTC treatment for scars and found clinical studies that say not only does Vitamin E not help reduce scars, but is NOT recommended by dermatologist for use on scars. Many studies have been done on topical vitaminv E, that showed no improvement in the appearance of scar, and in many, the vitamin e made ascars WORSE than untreated due to irritation and/or contact dermatitis. There are a few clinically proven scar reduction methods. Many involve lasers or injections.

I have no idea if this is the right forum for my question but hopefully someone can help me. Have have numerous self inflicted scars all over my body but mostly my arms/wrists and rather then spend the rest of my life in long sleeves I am wondering about covering all my scars with tattoos? Hi and welcome, Unilateral parathesia is a more common presentation for MS but that doesn't mean it's the most likely explanation......infections would typically affect you all over your body and not just one side, the only thing i can come up with would be a sinus and or ear infection, which could explain the course of steroids and rebound effect a few weeks later.

ve had it since kindergarten and I am now 20 almost 21. I have scars up and down my body and even self inflicted scars. The reason why I separate some of my scars as self inflicted is because when I get to picking most of the time I do not know I am doing it I would wake up to bloody fingers and have to check my whole body to see where I did pick and see if it needed medical treatment and the other scars is because I hated how I looked...

I am 20 years old. I have scars that come from chicken pox as a child, and bug bite scars. I have these ugly dark spots all over my body, (my arms, legs, back, feet, and my butt) they make me very unconfortable, so unconfortable that since i was able to dress myself i have not weared any clothing that show my legs. my mom also has the same scar condition. we tried everything from off the coutner fading creams, to getting a tan. nothing seems to work.

Hi there, my daughter has scars in her eyes due to toxoplasmosis. She is 29 years old before one year the doctor tell us about these inactive scars (maybe congenotal). She didn't know anything about them and she never had any problem (vision problem or reactivation). Now she wants to become pregnant but she is scared.
